My teenage daughter and I stayed for three nights. Marco and Vera were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The apartment was very clean and the location is fantastic, about a 5 minute walk from the Uffizi.

A return visit - lovely accommodation just as remembered

The apartment is very central and faces a beautiful old church. It is lovingly decorated with thoughtful provisions covering all one needs for a stay. Simona is a great host always and offers a perfect balance of privacy and help with inquiries if needing knowledge/support. Simona booked a taxi for help with my luggage and this was a much appreciated act of kindness. Florence is very busy since I visited 10 years ago. However due to this apartments proximity to many districts it’s a good base for early morning or late evening cultural visits when the crowds are distracted with sleeping or dining. The increased tourist crowds in Florence can make it incredibly noisy even for a city , but this apartment is tucked away on a relatively quiet street given its central location , which is much welcomed . The added use of a terrace with character is the bonus feature for warmer temperatures and if the temperature drops there’s a lounge with great character. The apartment has great security and being central in a city feels safe. It is easy to walk to Oltrano and the gardens across the river for nature and calm . Its final bonus is the easy walking distance to quieter areas of Florence where the company of locals is refreshing and offers a more authentic off the beaten track option to the main sights.

Day and night views over the rooves to the Duomo and Santa Croce, San Miniato, and the Palazzo Vecchio. Hearing bells and catching the breeze. Inside light and airy, comfortable with all you might expect.

Clean, well appointed, everything worked and a great location.

Sylvia was wonderful, very good tips for local restaurants, attractions, services etc. she was also very understanding when a rail strike forced us to change our plans. There have been some comments about this apartment being noisy. It is a pedestrian only street so noise is only voice and the odd delivery van, it’s not that bad. The location is great, we walked everywhere we wanted to go. It’s great being in the old section of Florence
