Great for tourism in the historical Florence center, 15 min with a new fast and reliable tramvia T1 (every 3 min, stop at 100m from the apartment, ticket 1 Euro with family discount).

How to reach the apartment
By motorway: exit Scandicci the A1, direction Scandicci center, the City of Scandicci (the apartment is located opposite the Town Hall, where there are plenty of free parking).
In expressway, near the exit of the motorway FI-PI-LI, the same route of the highway.
By train: From Central Station of Florence (SMN) take the tram (opposite the entrance to the station) and get off at resistance.

During the second week of October there is a local event, a fair (Fiera di Scandicci). The town is close to the traffic and in that period it is not easy to find a parking.

Great location - nice place to stay

Overall we had a really nice stay. The host was very responsive and available anytime. The location was perfect. Parking was never an issue. There is a nice bakery with Cafe and pastries right next to the building. Lots of restaurants in the area within walking distance. The metro station was 2 minutes away and runs every 4 to 5 minutes. We were in central Florence in 15 minutes or less. This location was ideal.

Suburban retreat in Florence

Very well equipped apartment, enjoyed using the terrace early morning and at night when it was cooler outside. Easy tram ride in and out of Florence and close to the station so very convenient. Florence is great but hot and crowded so it was nice to retreat home to the apartment

Für meinen dreiwöchigen "Bildungsurlaub" in der Renaissance war Scandicci der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Innerhalb von 15 Minuten mit einer modernen Straßenbahn, die im 3 - 4 Minuten-Takt fährt ( was eine Benutzerin des ÖPNV im Rhein-Main-Gebiet neidisch macht) , erreichte ich das Zentrum von Florenz. Die Wohnung liegt im 5. Stock eines Hauses aus den 70er Jahren (Aufzug funktionierte einwandfrei), ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man braucht. Modernes Bad mit Dusche und Bidet, Schlafzimmer mit Parkettboden und ausgezeichnetenn Matratzen, Küche und Wohnbereich enthalten alle wichtigen Dinge, kleiner Wermutstropfen: Es gibt kein deutschsprachiges Fernsehen, aber der PC des Vermieters erlaubt die Nachrichten auch im Internet zu verfolgen. Ich war ab Anfang März in Florenz und sehr dankbar für die gut funktionierende Heizung, für den Sommer gibt es auch eine Klimaanlage. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: in ca. 800m Entfernung kleiner Lebensmittelmarkt, samstags Markt in Scandicci, großer Supermarkt nur zwei Straßenbahnstationen entfernt, auch sonntags geöffent bis Mittag. Das beste aber: der Vermieter, Herr Alessandro. Er steht sofort bereit, falls kleinere Schwierigkeiten auftreten.

Prima appartement. Eigenaar is een goed gastheer . Uitleg gekregen over appartement en omgegeving. Eigenaar spreekt goed Engels, bij vragen via de mail of telefoon krijg je gelijk antwoord Vlakbij appartement is de tram om naar Florence te gaan deze gaat zeer frequent. Heerlijk om na een dag in de drukke stad geweest te zijn terug te komen in het rustige appartement. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Wij bevelen dit appartement van harte aan

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub

Das Apartment war einfach perfekt: groß und geräumig und sehr gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen, es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die große und gut eingerichtete Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen, Wohn- und Schlafzimmer waren sehr gemütlich. Bemerkenswert waren die Betten, ich habe nie besser geschlafen! Der große Balkon lud zum Sitzen ein, Sonne von morgens bis in den späten Nachmittag, auch abends mit einem Gläschen Wein war dies ein lauschiges Plätzchen. Alessandro erwies sich als unglaublich herzlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, es gab viele Infos und er stand jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Lage war einfach optimal, mit der Tram war man in 20 Minuten im Zentrum von Florenz, in Scandicci selbst waren Supermärkte, Bäcker, Einkaufsmeile und Restaurant fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Wir sind absolut begeistert von dieser Unterkunft und können sie nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Great

It's all about location. With the Tram and Autostrada being so close to the apartment, it made getting in and out of Florence a breeze. Scandicci has all the the basic necessities. A shopping center for grocery items and clothing, plenty of restaurants and even a coffee / pastry / deli shop all within a kilometer. The owner was extremely helpful and responded to our every request and need.

Alessandro met us at the apartment when we arrived. He gave us complete details about everything in the apartment This is a very good location with a great view from both terraces. We were very close to the Metro tram and rode it to tour Florence. Apartment is a very clean and lovely place to stay. The morning we were leaving Alessandro made arrangement with the Taxi driver to pick us up and take us to the train stations. If looking for place to stay in Florence area this is it. Also there was a computer available for our use.

Super séjour à Florence

Très bel appartement, situé au 5ème et dernière étage avec une vue magnifique sur les collines avoisinantes. Nous avons très bien accueilli par Alessandro qui nous a fourni toutes les explications nécessaires pour notre séjour. Appartement très bien équipé et avec une multitude d'ustensiles de cuisine. Alessandro a mis un ordinateur à notre disposition. La station de tram pour rejoindre le centre de Florence est au bout de la rue à moins de trois minutes. Merci encore à Alessandro.

Wonderful place to stay!

We are a group of three adults. The owner was very friendly. The place was large, comfortable and owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. It is very close to a local tram which is 15 minutes out from the main train station in the center of Florence. Apartment is quiet and very secure. Good food options and local culture nearby including a farmers market on Saturday. We were nervous about it being outside of town at first, but the location gets you away from the tourist crowds after a day of sightseeing. You must stay here!

Un excellent séjour à Scandicci, (4 nuits ) Alessandro est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes, rien ne manque dans l'appartement spacieux, très pratique grâce au tram pour rejoindre Firenze, (20 min environ), stationnement au pied de l'immeuble, Alessandro est à l'écoute et répond très rapidement par mail à vos questions d'avant séjour. 1 très bonne adresse, je recommande.

Amazing experience

Thanks is a beautiful apartment with ample space. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station & then a 20 minute ride to the main station. Alessandro is a wonderful host. If you have the chance, this is the place to stay!

Fantásticas vacaciones en Florencia.

Pasamos una semana, en esta propiedad. El apartamento cuenta con todos los servicios. Está muy bien comunicado, tanto si utilizas transporte público, como si usas coche particular. El vecindario es muy tranquilo. Tanto el propietario como su familia son muy amables.

Sehr schönes Appartement in guter Lage

Das Appartement ist sehr schön und gut eingerichtet. Dieses liegt auch nicht weit einer Bahnstation die einen schnell ins Zentrum oder Einkaufszentrum bringt. Einen fehlt dort nichts was Küchengeräte oder Haushaltsgeräte angeht. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und wir können es nur weiter empfehlen. The flat is very nice and well furnished. This also lies not far of a railway station one fast in the centre or shopping centre brings. One nothing is absent there what kitchen utensils or household appliances it begins. The renter was very friendly and we can only recommend it. Le studio est très beau et est bien aménagé. Cela ne se trouve pas non plus loin d'une station de chemin de fer l'un vite dans le centre ou centre commercial apporte. L'un rien ne manque là que des ustensiles de cuisine ou appareils ménagers commence. Le loueur était très aimable et nous pouvons seulement le recommander.

Huge and clean apartment.

I was travelling by car across Tuscany with my wife. That apartment is really big for 2 people. There is no problem with parking. Good and comfortable location. 200 metres from tram station(in 15-20 minutes we were in the centre of Florence!). Alessandro is very helpful owner. I can really reccommend this property to everyone!!!

Loved the Apt and Location

My husband and I loved the apt. It is huge! It was clean, great kitchen and balcony. It was so easy to get to the center of the city. The tram is just a very short walk (5 min). There's 1 tram so you don't have to worry you're getting on the wrong one. It takes you straight to the train station which is in the middle of everything. Shopping is GREAT here!!! Better than Rome. Below the apt is a great bakery, a pharmacy s a crossed the street. My husband loved it so much we want to come back and have it as our home base. From here you can easily have day trips: train to Lucca, Carrara, Lerici, drive in Tuscany etc. Alessandro met us at the apt and was very helpful. We are very happy with our stay. My husband kept telling me I did so good in getting this apartment!!! THANK YOU ALESSANDRO!

Comodo, amplio y bien siturado

Cómodo, con todos los servicios, amplio y bien situado (en zona tranquila a las afueras de Florencia). Al llegar aparcamos el coche y nos olvidamos de él ya que el transporte público está cerca (tranvía) y te deja en el centro de Florencia. El trato del propietario excelente. Lo recomiendo

Amazing apartment, convenient to Central Florence

When we first got to the apartment I was thinking maybe I had made a mistake not being right in downtown Florence. The apartment is clean, comfortable, spacious and has nice views but we weren't right where everything was in Florence. After the first day of being in Florence though I was so glad to be where we were at. It was just a short light rail ride away from where everything is happening in Florence but it is a much calmer slower place without so many tourists. We could come home after a day of wandering around to a place that we could just decompress and relax. Alessandro was so helpful in getting us situated, he pointed out local events and was available for any questions we had. We look forward to the next time we can stay at Alessandro's place!

Soggiorno perfetto

Il proprietario dell'appartamento, fin dai primi contatti, è stato cordiale e molto, molto disponibile. L'appartamento è esattamente come descritto nell'annuncio, comodo, pulito, veramente a pochi metri dalla fermata della tram-via per Firenze. Nelle vicinanze c'è praticamente tutto, bar, banche, negozi, centro commerciale, ristoranti. Infine la posizione è veramente strategica per raggiungere molte località della Toscana. Il nostro soggiorno (eravamo 4 adulti ed un bambino) è stato perfetto. Consigliatissimo.

The apartment was my first house, and I have fully accessoried it with all the possible comforts, PC, A/C, 20 Mbit ADSL with Wifi, washing and dish machine, microwave, coffee machine, iron and a kitchen full of tools . It is perfect for tourism, but It is more a family house, where you can live permanently, than a tourist house. We use to rent it for short and long term periods.

The apartment is very comfortable, has a lot of free parking outside, is in a quite place, and is perfect for tourism in Florence. It is one step from the crowdy center (15 min with the modern tram, stop at 100 m, frequency every 3-4 min). With the same tram trip you can also reach the main train station of Florence, so you don't need the car to visit Florence and the main Tuscany targets (Pisa, Lucca, Siena etc.).
If you have the car the main highways (A1, Fi-Pi-Li) are at 2-3 km.
