Directions to 71 Micklegate
The best way into York for Micklegate is to stay on the A64 from the A1, and follow the signs for York Race Course, which is signposted off the A64 as York A1036. This will take you straight into York past the Race Course (which will be on your right), keep going until you see the city walls in front of you, the gate you see at the junction is Micklegate Bar (the gateways are called bars Viking word for gate) go straight through and about 150m on your right you will see Trinity Lane, and just after this is our office and #71 Micklegate.
PARKING
There is no parking with the apartments on Micklegate, you can park outside on a meter which is 40p for ½ hr, which will be ok for dropping any luggage off, but we would recommend using either the Nunnery Lane carpark (just outside the walls and to the right of Micklegate Bar as you look at it driving into the city), or the long stay carpark at the train station, which is just the other side of this, both of them a just few minutes walk away from the apartment.
If our office is open you will be able to check in with us, if not, your keys will be in the keybox at the back of the building. Walk down Trinity Lane, and about 20m on your left is a set of wooden double gates with a pedestrian gate on the left hand side. Enter the code 2058z and go through this gate, through the courtyard. You will see the Cottage in front of you - there is a small private courtyard to the left of the Cottage through the wooden gate - this is where the keybox is located next to the back door.
KEY INSTRUCTIONS
Your set of keys will have two keys; one for the front and back door of the Cottage.
Please ensure you keep the back gate closed and the front and back doors of the Cottage locked.

We loved the place! Property managers were quick and friendly. The space was big enough for our family of five and right in the middle of a fun part of York!
Perfect location and beautiful and comfortable property
Trinity Cottage was a pleasure. The cottage is like new and very well appointed and the location is convenient to anywhere you want to go in York.
Jerry was easy to reach and responded very quickly to all our communications. Our train was late and we had a bad experience traveling to York. Jerry made reservations at an exceptional restaurant the night of our arrival so we could recover from our travel.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we have put Trinity Cottage on our list of favorites for our return visit.
This home was in an ideal area for our stay in York. The host was extremely helpful and responded to all of our inquiries in a timely manner. The home was clean and affordable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
Enjoyed two night break to attend races , great pad in good location for city centre and proximity to racecourse ,had everything we needed for base . Unfortunately fire alarm woke us all at 4 in the morning which we couldn’t turn off ? Left us all a little tired for second day , the ones in bedroom ceiling are completely out of reach too ,was nightmare and was only thing that spoiled the stay
