PERFECTLY PEACEFUL

My husband and I spent 8 wonderful days at this condo. I'll go over the short list first-- CONs: The dining room table inside was nice, but the chairs were sunk in. The same goes for the living room couches (cushion sinks, almost drops in when you sit down!!), and the lounge chairs on the patio (you can feel the bent in support bar under the chair when you sit). They definitely have gotten their use and are begging for replacement. We just moved them to the side and sat at the table while we were outside. Rusty large skillet, and minimal cookware. I left the spatula there that I purchased. PROs: 2nd floor, near the elevators & trash drop, and the balcony is right over the pools! It was an easy check-in with clear instructions on accessing the property. Sliding balcony doors in living room & master (with screen door). The condo was clean and stocked with paper towels(1 roll), tissue (4 rolls), hand soap, mini shampoo & conditioner, mini bottle of dishwashing liquid, dishwasher pods(2), washing machine pods(2), and small pack of coffee to brew! There are two bbq grills outside the pool area near the parking lot. On-site security around the pool and gym. The balcony was ATLEAST 15'x20'... with a full-size(6-chair) dining room table (and the lounge chairs) on it. It's a beautiful, short walk to the beach. There are discounts on beach amenities and restaurants during your stay. Grocery stores are within 5 min. There's sooooo much to do!!! We will be back!

Not what we expected

This condo needs some TLC! We loved the proximity to the beach but that's about it. This was our first time to stay at the resort, there we no direction or guidance in how to utilize the extra amenities that you pay as you are left to figure it out on your own. The condo was in POOR shape for the price. From there being huge stains in the carpet in multiple rooms, to the shower in the master bath being unable to close all the way and it leaking water on floor every time it was used. To the screen door on balcony being ripped on 1/3 of the door. Tile in the bathroom & kitchen being dirty and moldy. Stove top dirty and stained, plaster in laundry room & around front door broken and cracked. Front door molding looked like a pry bar had been used to open door at some point. Only 4 forks in kitchen, had 5 guests. Only 4 towels, had 5 guests. AC quite working on day. Sleeper sofa UNUSABLE, has 3" spring mattress and it was un-sleep able; we had to go purchase blow up mattress for 5th guest to sleep on. Dryer does not work well, requires you to dry items 3x longer than expected. In master bedroom, dresser is a hazard; drawers will fall out on to feet when you attempt to open sufficiently to attempt to put closes in.

Reviewer Comments: No linens for pull out couch, not enough pillows for pull out either. No hair dryer- hotels even have this. , some sockets did not work, broken chair on balcony- someone could have got hurt. I would stay again- but not in this room- needs updating/attention. I would hope other rentals are not like this.

The living room furniture while nice leather the cushions needed to be restuffed. You sank to the ground sitting on them. And some of the dining room chairs needed to be reinforced. You sank into the rattan.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo appears nice on the surface but there were a lot of things lacking. The major issue I had during my stay was that the bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. It was hard, lumpy, and dipped down in the middle making for a difficult week of sleep. I ended up having to shove a throw pillow under the mattress to try and make it a more even sleeping surface. I contacted the front desk about this but nothing was done to make my stay more comfortable. The sheets were very low quality and felt like you were sleeping on paper. The comforter had holes in it, the pillows were flat and flimsy providing very little support, and the towels were small and scratchy. There was a nasty food mess on the side of the fridge that had not been cleaned up. Dishes had been put away still dirty which was nasty. There were several lamps that did not work and the coffee table in the living room is wobbly and needs to be replaced or fixed. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach which was to be expected. We ended up just loading up the car every day and driving to the beach. We didn't have much problems finding a parking spot each day as long as we got there before 11. I will likely find somewhere different to stay next time we visit the area as I was just very uncomfortable the entire time and couldn't wait to get back home.
