Elegant and comfortable villa on the sea of ​​Aspra, in the northern coast of Sicily, where you can spend a relaxing and wellness holiday. Villa Smeraldo is a charming house with pool and garden, private access to the sea (rocks), equipped with all comforts, large indoor and outdoor spaces, relaxation areas, 4 bedrooms with air conditioning, 3 bathrooms, to accommodate up to 8 people. Swimming pool under construction, ready in May 2020.

Villa Smeraldo is an enchanting property immersed in a luxuriant garden of typical. The strength of the Emerald Villa is the marvelous sea View of the house: the terrace furnished with table and chairs for outdoor lunches and dinners; the large terrace lounge with sofas and tables to relax during the day, read a book, rest lulled by the sound of the sea; the bedroom and the sea view ... the detail of the sea!
Going down on twenty steps, you will reach an outdoor terrace furnished with chaise longues for sunbathing in total relaxation and privacy
The stretch of coast where the villa is located is inside the property. Access to the sea is not particularly easy, recommended for people in full physical condition and with experience. A few meters from the house there is a public bathing facility with a platform for easy access to the sea, which we recommend to our guests.
The interior of Villa Smeraldo is elegant, spacious and bright, definitely comfortable for 8 people. When entering home, you will have the opportunity to see the sea from every corner of the house. The entrance leads to the large living room with fireplace, sofas, dining area and large windows from which you will admire the intense blue of the sea. The living room is a beautiful kitchen, with everything to cook comfortably while looking at the sea. The ground floor is also a double bedroom with air conditioning and a bathroom with bathtub. Living room with TV and sofa, two double bedrooms both with private bathroom (shower) and sea view.

Lovely, fun property. pool is small (plunge pool) but ideal and essential if visiting in the summer months, the sea can be quite choppy and is a short climb down across rocks…..great for kids! less so for oldies. not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and Erica (point of contact) was a delight. Recycling was a tad confusing (as it was at the villa we had the week prior to this) and not sure why the Italians use such small recycle bags (more plastic!) but hey ho. cant really fault it overall, i'd just suggest better recycling bins, a purpose built section in the kitchen (there is space for multiple fixed bins) to help remind and make easier for the younger teenagers (!!) what goes in what bag rather than having multiple bags strewn across the floor rather that the teens inevitably chucking in randomly. Highly recommend a hike up the hills behind the villa (turn right out of the villa, 250m on left is the entrance), wonderful walks views etc. go early to avoid afternoon heat of course. Bagheria historical centre nice, decent cafe (Bar Ester charming staff and decent pastries), shopping and the historical villa Palagonia to visit…...and easy to get train into Palermo which was charming (historical centre only!) 9mins. Cefalu 50mins drive but very busy in summer but worth a visit for later in the day for evening meal etc.The only other suggestion/ request to the host's would be a chest of draws or similar in the master bedroom upstairs. limited head height (eaves). fab.x

Ein Platz zum WiederkommenEigentlich war vor Reiseantritt klar, dass es gut werden würde. Die Kommunikation mit Ciara war perfekt, freundlich, zielorientiert. Und der gute Eindruck wurde beim Empfang durch Erika vor Ort bestätigt. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft. Sonnenaufgang vor der Terrasse, beim Sonnenuntergang der Blick auf Palermo im Abendrot und tagsüber das Haus als Schutz vor zu heißer Sonne - besser hätte man es nicht bauen können. Und im Haus sieht man überall den sicheren und modernen Stil der Gastgeberinnen. Durch die Lage am Hang hat man in Haus und Garten alle Chancen, das gute sizilianische Essen auf den Treppen wieder abzutrainieren.Der eigene Meereszugang ist nichts für ältere Menschen. Aber Bagheria liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig an der Bahnlinie, man erreicht in 40 Minuten die Traumstrände von Cefalu und in 20 Minuten Palermos Innenstadt.

Fantastisk skønt hus med egen strand

Et hus med plads til den store familie - super godt og elegant indrettet. Har man behov for at være sig selv i perioder er der masser af muligheder for at finde en stille krog. Man kan nyde udsigten over Middelhavet fra et utal af steder - der er mange terrasser at vælge imellem. Alt i fin stand - både udenfor og indenfor.

Amazing views……

Stunning views from the house, loved spending all day outside in the pool or sea. Pool is only a plunge pool but great to cool off. No easy climb down to the sea, need swim shoes and sure footing but it is worth it. Snorkel in the morning for best view of the fish. Bathrooms very tired and in need of updating. Broken loo seats and shower heads which don’t work properly. They leaked and had no working temperature control. Such a shame as it did let the house down. Overall had a wonderful week.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Umgebung, Traumhafter Ausblick. War tip, top sauber und Erica hat uns sehr freundlich begrüsst und uns Tipps gegeben. Pool auch wunderschön. Evtl. in der Beschreibung angeben, dass der eigene Meerzugang schwer zu erreichen ist. Alles andere war erstklassig.

Een heerlijke vakantie aan de zee in een prachtige villa

Het huis is bijzonder gelegen, op een rots aan de Noordkant van Sicilië, aan de zee. Een beetje afdalen en klimmen, maar dan in het heldere blauwe water. Tevens heeft het huis een klein, maar zeer mooi aangelegd zwembad met ook uitzicht over de zee. Heerlijk om even af te koelen. Het huis heeft een groot balkon en een lounge ruimte, ook aan de zeezijde. Hier is het fijn ontbijten, dineren en borrelen. De beheerder/beheerdster is zeer hulpvaardig en vriendelijk, altijd bereikbaar indien nodig.
