"LA STALLA" APARTMENT

LA STALLA is a location of extraordinary and unique beauty: the restoration of the ancient MANIERO stable has given new life to an environment of great historical value. LA STALLA, on the ground floor of the main building of the MANIERO, overlooks the internal garden and therefore enjoys a marvelous view of the swimming pool and the medieval walls surrounding the exclusive property. The original manger still masters the large open space of the kitchen area and living area: the skilful restoration brought it back to light preserving its original and historic masonry and wood structure in the living area while in the kitchen area the manger it has become a great worktop. Once, instead, it was the preferred corner of the MANIERO cattle, which could enjoy the forage of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The large wall to which the manger rests in the living area is sensational, recovered as it was then all in exposed stone. The very high ceilings with wooden beams are lit by large wrought-iron period chandeliers: the ceilings, as well as the floor of LA STALLA are made of ancient cotto from Impruneta.
THE KITCHEN: The large Tuscan rustic masonry kitchen is composed of a grit sink, a large counter top recreated in the old manger and an induction hob: the refrigerator and the dishwasher are located in the wooden recesses of the kitchen where you will also find pots, microwave, kettle, toaster and everything you need to prepare a beautiful Tuscan dinner! The whole wall of the kitchen is in antique Tuscan ocher-colored majolica tiles that surround a beautiful and ancient bronze plate depicting a moment of rural life. Above the kitchen, there is a marvelous cape in ancient chestnut beams set in MANIERO's large and centuries-old collection of copper pots.
LIVING AREA: The living area, illuminated by four large points of light, enjoys a suggestive atmosphere: the large Tuscan table masters the living room, the feeling of living in an ancient stable is palpable given the incredible restoration of the location that has left intact the whole structure of the original stable and details such as the old yoke and the rural tools embellish the living area. The living corner has a large and comfortable leather sofa that can be transformed into a further double sofa-bed and a 65 ”cable and satellite TV. The large leather sofa, convenient to enjoy the TV corner, becomes king sofa bed if necessary to use the living room as a possible third bedroom: the comfortable dimensions of the sofa bed make it perfect for both adults and children / teenagers to rest . Antique furniture, an antique bathtub and Carrara marble console complete the living area with great charm. The supporting wall of LA STALLA now as then finished in exposed stone still has the old vents, small openings in the wall, which were used to circulate the air in the room, given the presence of cattle. A small stone arch leads to the BATHROOM with the DOUBLE BEDROOM and to the SECOND ROOM WITH BUNK BED.
DOUBLE ROOM: The room rests on the supporting wall of LA STALLA which presents the old vents equipped with small wooden windows which, by circulating the air, make the environment naturally air-conditioned in summer and warm in winter given the thickness of the wall of over a meter. The room offers a large four-poster bed made of Tuscan wood with curtains, an antique wardrobe with an old dresser, an old hundred-year-old trunk and the characteristic medieval illuminations that decorate the particularly evocative environment. The room overlooks the MANIERO courtyard.
SECOND ROOM WITH BUNK BED: The room offers a large cast iron big size 195cmx85cm bed in ancient fir, ideal for the stay of adults but also of children and youngsters: to note the realization of the detail of the security closure in typical medieval style. A large wardrobe completes the room full of Tuscan charm that also gives on the court of MANIERO.

BATHROOM: The large bathroom at LA STALLA's service, made from Tuscan Impruneta majolica, offers a large big size shower, a wx, a bidet and a stone sink on an ancient sewing machine and a Tuscan olive tree table.
PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS: Each apartment also benefits from modern comforts such as Wi-Fi and air conditioning, air conditioning, induction hobs, satellite and cable TV, electric sockets in ancient china with rotary switches, fully equipped kitchens with fridge and dishwasher, oven microwave, toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board, bed and bath linens, laundry service (for a fee), pool-side umbrella station with pool towels included.
