Our condo has amazing VIEWS OF THE OCEAN AND THE WEST MAUI MOUNTAINS.

We are VERY PROUD of our beautifully designed & upgraded unit. All of our guests LOVE our Fully Equipped Kitchen, Smart TV’s, Free Upgraded High-Speed Internet and upgraded beds. The bedroom has a super comfy CAL-KING-I-COMFORT (cool gel) bed. The living room is furnished for comfort with a rocker recliner and a sofa sleeper. The sofa bed is Air-Over-Coil Technology - “Air Dream ULTRA."
Our beautiful FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN is recently remodeled.

You’ll love the added convenience of our LARGE CAPACITY WASHER & DRYER. We have 2 Smart TV's, FREE High Speed Internet, 2 A/C units, 2 ceiling fans. We keep our condo beautiful and well equipped. It was professionally designed. (Scroll through the photos and enjoy the beautiful outside views as well as the peacefulness of the interior of our condo.) At the Maui Banyan, our units location is sought after because it is in the POPULAR 'H' BUILDING. As such it is only a few minutes walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants, yet it is protected from the Kihei Road noise.
The interior of the unit was decorated by a Feng Shui Master and is 'simply beautiful.' It is alive in color and peaceful in nature. I have included a picture of every room in the condo - so you can see it all. And please READ THROUGH the entire listing including traveler's reviews so that you know what we have to offer you.

ABOUT OUR CONDO: When you aren't appreciating the fantastic views or the ocean...there is always the amazing curved large screen smart TV with free cable and wi-fi. The bedroom has its own smart TV.
Truly a bargain, our unit offers facilities to make you feel completely at home away from home. For instance, there is a large capacity washer and dryer located in the unit along with a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and microwave. Of course our unit has two air conditioners and two ceiling fans.

In the living room, we have a COMFY COUCH (which turns into a QUEEN BED WITH A THICK MEMORY FOAM TOPPER for added comfort) and air conditioning. CEILING FAN OVER DINING TABLE adds cooling in the kitchen and living room. In our bedroom we have an amazing CAL-KING I-COMFORT BED, comfy sheets, a ceiling fan & air conditioner. Sliding doors create privacy between the bedroom and the living room. All linens and towels are provided. Of course we have a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. We have boogie boards for your use. (We just ask that you take care of the items that you use and leave the top shelves of the owners closet for owners private use.)

Our unit is located 4 floors up in the H building and is situated perfectly so we don't hear noise from Kihei Road. Yet I can cross Kihei Road and be on the beach in less than two minutes. Our building is conveniently positioned...you can quickly jump in the ocean, yet it is far enough back from the road and protected by 4 front buildings that stop the traffic noice from reaching us. The units, being all concrete, are very quiet.

Maui Banyan is one of the NEWEST CONDOS within minutes of the South Kihei beachs. It boasts two amazing community areas. Both include covered patio/eating area, swimming pools, hot tubs, showers, restrooms, lounge chairs, several Weber BBQ'S. Enjoy the TENNIS COURT as well as beautiful tropical landscape.

The Maui Banyan is located ACROSS THE STREET from Kamaole Beach and Park II, one of Maui's most noted and BEST WHITE SAND BEACHES. Want another beach? Simply turn left on Kihei Road and enjoy Kamaole III beach which includes a large park with swings, BBQ's and picnic areas. Both beaches are world class, both beaches are an easy and quick walk and both beaches are less than than five minutes away. BOTH BEACHES HAVE INCREDIBLE SUNSETS, SNORKELING AND WHITE SAND. Kamaole beaches have restrooms and a lifeguard and are perfect for sunset picnics, sunning, boogie boarding, swimming, or snorkeling...or just enjoying a view of the sparkling turquoise waters and the tropical islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Molokini. Located in South Kihei, there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Within minutes you can even walk to a grocery store (Hawaiian Moons.), restaurants and shopping.

First is the fantastic location of this property to everything we wanted. Walking distance to many great restaurants, across the street from Kamaole II beach park, close to everything anyone might need. It’s the Southern part of Kihei off of Keonekai Rd. We had a rental car and parking was included. The proximity of so many great restaurants within a block or two meant we didn’t use the car every day. It’s a very quiet condo. Two pools/spas, several top of the line BBQ’s if you feel the urge to do that (which we did one evening). The best sunsets are directly across the street, that we took advantage of many nights. We really wanted for nothing that wasn’t already there during our stay. A full size refrigerator, range, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Two full bathrooms, everything there you need. One bedroom, plus a “hide a bed” in the sofa in the living room. TV’s in the living room and bedroom. A furnished veranda with ocean view across the bedroom screened sliding door and the living room screened slider. Fully furnished, all dishes, pots, pans, food storage containers, and everything we could want in creature comforts we are used to at home. Beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas. The owner is fantastic to deal with! There is a handyman living in the complex the owner knows that will promptly fix anything that could go wrong. Two AC units in bedroom and living room/ceiling fans that we used during the day. Evenings were open doors, enjoy the ocean breeze.

Excellent base for exploring Maui

The unit itself was very nice and clean, and very conveniently located. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping, and across the street from a very nice beach with decent snorkeling. One thing we couldn't tell from the pictures was the view. It does face out towards the parking garage, but the ocean is visible off to the left. The balcony was still very nice to hang out on, and felt fairly private since it is far enough away from the garage and other building that people can't really see in. Kitchen had all the tools we needed, and the unit also included towels, cooler, chairs, and umbrella for the beach. The owner was very communicative, and had lots of good suggestions for things to do nearby. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My bf and I loved our stay at this condo and what a view for sunsets! Host was very helpful, thorough and friendly! The unit is as described, and in a well maintained & lovely bldg. We loved our time at this property. We travel to Maui annually and always stay in the South Kihei area. This has been one of the favorite properties we have ever stayed in. It is obvious from the way the condo is equipped that the owners stay here a lot. There is great attention to detail and there is nothing that is not supplied. Unlike other typical rental units, there are high quality pots and pans, utensils, and appliances. We look forward to trying to stay here when we return to Maui in the future.

The condo was very clean and attractive and contained everything we needed for our week’s stay in Mauii. Sunshyne had left us with detailed instructions and was very responsive when we had questions. The condo building and grounds were well maintained and just across the street from the beach (Sunshyne had beach chairs for us to borrow). The condo was a great base to explore the rest of Mauii and we had a lovely holiday.

We really liked this property. It's location is as great as advertised and it is comfortable and dealing with the owner was easy and a pleasure. The only thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars is that the garbage disposal didn't work and a sink was easily backed up making dishes and clean up a challenge at times. There are also a couple of dings in the place that make it feel lived in and not pristine. That said it is very comfortable and a perfect location and a quiet building and a joy to spend time at.

A place of Healing with its amazing peaceful energy

My husband and I would like to Thank you and let you know how much we appropriate you so much for sharing your home with us. Four years ago I surprised my husband with a trip to Maui on his 60th B-day. You helped me make the surprise a trip of a lifetime. Recently my husband had knee replacement surgery which didn't exactly go as planned with three major set backs. While he was trying to recover we remembered what a healing experience your home provided for us. Not just healing of our bodies but of our soul. We were not disappointed. Sunshyne you are an amazing person and helped me with every detail, even teaching me a few computer tricks, like using VENMO to transfer funds quickly , to make your home available to us at our short notice request. Every detail of our stay was perfect. Your home had everything to make for the perfect stay. Very clean. It was fully equipped with everything needed for the perfect day at the beach (towels, chairs,cooler,boogie boards and snorkels). It is an easy walking distance to the beach. Everyday we were able to to go down to the quite, uncrowded and well maintained beach and allow the warm healing waters take the pain my husband was feeling and make it literally disappear. ( Plus the added bonus of swimming with turtles and tropical fish just right off the shore). After a day at the beach it was so wonderful to come back to your comfortable Condo with everything needed. Two showers, washer dryer and the days were warm so having the 2 AC units was great. The views from the Lani of the ocean and Haleakala were breathtaking helping again with the calmness we we so desperately needed. Sunsets were amazing. I loved the fact that I could prepare dinner in your fully stocked and upgraded kitchen or could go to one of the many restaurants close by. At the end of the day after a little tv, which you included all of the cable channels, getting into your amazing and comfortable king size bed was the icing on the cake. Everyday from start to end you were able to provide the comfort, calmness and healing we so desperately needed. Everyone we met there were so nice and down to earth (not your typical resort feeling) and will probably stay in touch with them. We look forward to possibly staying again in the future. Very comfortable stay in an excellent location!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed nine nights here. Our mornings all started off having our coffee on the lanai looking out at the ocean. The condo is very well stocked and we appreciated the use of the beach chairs. We did enjoy cooking on the bbq's near the poolside and met many great people there. Kihei is a great location to explore all parts of the island. One of the most beautiful beaches is just steps across the road from the condo. We also enjoyed the two closest restaurants for a meal, 808 bistro and Fred's Mexican. Maui Banyon security appeared to do a very good job. Mahalo!

Excellent holiday

My wife and I stayed in this condo for the month of March and had a wonderful time. The condo was very comfortable and all the new upgrades enhanced our stay. The sofabed was very comfortable (as attested by our visitors) and the second bathroom helped with four of us there. The condo is close to the beach and many shops and restaurants and is in an ideal location. We spent many mornings on the lanai with our coffee watching for whales (we spotted many). The grounds of the condo are well maintained and the BBQs are kept clean and ready to use. It is also a great place to meet other people. We would recommend this condo to anybody looking for a comfortable relaxing holiday.

Perfect location and Beautiful condo!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Maui Banyan in this unit and thought it was perfect. It was our first time using VRBO and felt that everything went very smoothly, especially since we planned so last minute! The grounds of the condo building are beautiful, the 5 Weber BBQ's available to us in the pool area were perfect, we cooked most of our meals here - great way to meet other people too. The bed in the condo is seriously SO COMFORTABLE. We are picky about comfortable beds and this one was great. The condo is well secured, quiet, and very clean. We were impressed and felt fortunate to stay here compared to other places we saw. The location is great. We spent most of our vacation sightseeing, so didn't spend a ton of time at the beach, but we loved Kamaole Beach II and III. The condo is literally a two minute walk down the drive entrance and across the street from Kam II and a two minute drive to Kam III (my husband loved the big waves and boogie boarding at Kam III). The condo was equipped with a cooler which we used to make our own lunches, beach chairs, boogie boards and tons of sand toys. This was awesome as we heard of many people having to buy these things from costco or walmart for their short stay. The kitchen has all the gadgets you would find in your own home. We didn't eat out much, but loved the Cinnamon Bun Place just up the road (it was our secret indulgence!). If you are looking to do any excursions or snorkelling go to Boss Frog's, they are good for information about the island and will discount certain excursions, we just found you had to play a little hard to get. We loved the snorkelling, we did the Molokini and Turtle Town cruise as well went to Honolua Bay on our own. We took our own masks and snorkels and rented fins for $8 for 2 pairs for the week from Boss Frog's. Worked out really well as they are tough to pack. Other than that we did the Road to Hana (go all the way around the island - its not as bad of a drive as everyone makes it out to be - or maybe we really are just crazy Canadians) make sure to stop at Oheo Gulch it is absolutely beautiful, watched the sunrise from the peak of Haleakala Crater (one of the most perfect experiences of my life) and did a luau and dinner cruise with the Pacific Whale Foundation (saw whales!!). There is a 'Maui Revealed' app for Iphones - we found we used this app immensely and didn't have to carry around a book. Mahalo to the owners for opening their second home for an amazing week

We enjoyed our stay. Location was terrific, beach access across the street and nice pool area with great BBQ area. It was very nice to have 2 washrooms and nice Master bedroom. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find an unmade bed and not as clean as we had hoped. Wet laundry in washer and a load in the dryer was found 2 days later. The deck was a disappointment as too narrow to really eat there. Maui is a great island to spend your vacation!

Maui Holiday

We have just returned from our 2nd stay in this condo and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen reno was great, and we appreciated all the appliances and washer and dryer. The new mattress is REALLY comfortable and we were happy to have 2 bathrooms. Because the unit is on the shady side of the building we could enjoy the lanai all day and watch the whales breaching and spouting. There is a strip mall nearby with shopping, restaurants, and the special ice-cream shop for "daily" special treats. We can't wait to go back.

Very nice condo conveniently located across the street from a great snorkeling beach and within walking distance to many nice restaurants. Our favorite is Cafe O'Lei. Well stocked kitchen, very very comfortable bed and two bathrooms. Also included were boogie boards, noodles & beach chairs. Thank you so much, we had a great time.

What an amazing trip our Maui experience was for my husband's surprise 60th B-day

A trip of a lifetime!!!!!!!!!! The condo was so comfortable and so centerally located to everything we were interested in doing. Very clean with a fully equipt kitchen,2 bathrooms (sweet) and the most comfortable king size bed. Great for my husband and I but could easily handle a family of 4 with the pull out sofa. We swam with turtles and saw amazing fish at the beach right accross the street from the condo. We really appricated the fact that everything you needed for a perfect day at the beach was there for us to use (snorkle equipt, beach chairs, lots of towels and boogie boards) and resturants and shopping were within walking distance with lots of specials. (even a Starbucks :-). The grounds were very well maintained with lots of local plants, trees and amazing flowers and very secure. Very helpful staff, barbeques and 2 swimming pools with hot tubs. We can't wait to plan another trip to Maui and stay here again. Aloha!
