Apartamento en Santa Maria, Isla de Sal, Cabo Verde: una ubicación frente a la playa pero a solo un corto nivel de restaurantes, bares, bancos y tiendas

Los apartamentos están situados en el respetado complejo Porto Antigo 2. Los jardines bien cuidados están llenos de color de la abundancia de plantas tropicales que rodean la piscina central, y esto se abre a las arenas blancas de la playa de Santa María. La playa es la meca del windsurf y el kitesurf, la pesca, el buceo y la natación. Las tortugas regresan año tras año para desovar en las arenas de la isla de Sal, y está en funcionamiento un fantástico programa de conservación. Durante la temporada de anidación, puede organizar una patrulla nocturna e incluso ver a las crías de tortuga salir del cascarón y regresar al mar. Se pueden organizar excursiones en barco desde el muelle para ir a pescar o navegar. Las ballenas y los delfines frecuentan las aguas de Sal, y son vistos regularmente. Los viajes de pesca pueden ser pesca deportiva o unas pocas horas en un bote de madera local. El buceo se puede reservar desde varios puntos de venta en la playa y partir desde el muelle local. O si solo desea relajarse, hay tumbonas gratuitas disponibles alrededor de la piscina.

A Great Place To Stay

Situated at the heart of Santa Maria the property is ideally located for beach, bars and restaurants. With the beach literally next door and a great pool everything you need is at hand. The view from the apartment is great and the balcony is an ideal place to enjoy a drink watching the sunset in the evening.

Most beautiful Spot on Sal

The Appartement is awesome and directly located at the beach. I think it is the most wonderful spot on the Island and for us a 100% Recommendation. Also Stefan, the representative onsite and Lorraine were both so helpful during our stay. Thanks a lot for the great time.

Amazing location, and great place

Absolutely loved the stay at this place. The property itself is a good fit for a family of 4, with a very nice outdoor pool right out your door, and a beach only steps away. Host and on-site property manager were ABOVE helpful, even coming out to help us with something minor at 10pm, within 20 minutes of us reaching out. Manager was knowledgeable and super helpful with regards to local activities also. Lastly, the island itself was so lovely, and the people were so friendly, that our 8 year old son teared up that we had to leave this place. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Excellent apartment in an amazing location

Wonderful apartment within a fantastic location, very quiet, safe and secure. Apartment was exactly as described, had amazing views of the beach, gardens and pool area, just a stones throw from all amenities, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed catching the last bit of sun on the balcony in the evenings before venturing out to find somewhere to eat. Huge amount of choice to eat out with most supplying freshly caught fish cooked to perfection. Our hosts Andrew and Lorraine were fabulous providing extensive details about checking in and where to go making our holiday very easy. They even pre-booked our taxi to/from the airport and a fantastic first night restaurant. Took advantage of the great surfing opportunities and enjoyed an island tour. All in all a wonderful holiday and will definitely return.

Perfect location

My husband Tony and I had the most amazing week in Lorraine and Andrew’s apartment on the Porto Antigo 2 complex The location is probably the best on Santa Maria Beach-literally a stone’s throw from the water- near great restaurants, cafes and the shops. The complex is surrounded by well maintained gardens and has a fantastic swimming pool The apartment itself has everything you need, and towels were changed in the middle of the week ( no oven though, just hob and microwave) Lorraine organised a taxi from/ to the airport; in short a very relaxing, hassle free holiday We liked Palm Beach, Barracuda and Cultural Cafe restaurants, just a short stroll up the beach. Yoga with Karen at 8am just opposite the apartment overlooking the sea was great also Many Thanks Andrew and Karen

appartement confortable et terrasse au top. proprio réactif. clim fuyant lors de notre séjour mais intervention d'un technicien dans l'après midi. Nous n'avions pas besoin de la clim donc les travaux ont du être fait juste après notre séjour. A recommander pour sa vue et sa situation dans santa maria

Bestes Appartment in Santa Maria

alles wie beschrieben, alles hervorragend! Wohl beste Lage in Santa Maria, direkt am Meer mit Blick auf die Strandpromenade und den Fischersteg. Alles (Supermarkt, Restaurants, Banken …)in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ausstattung und Balkonmöbel sehr gut! Wünschenswert wären allerdings Fliegengitter am Bad-und Schlafzimmerfenster, da abends ziemlich viele Stechmücken herumschwirren. Vor der Haupttüre zum Balkon wäre solch ein Schutz auch hervorragend, dann könnte man diese Tür offen lassen und man müsste dann die Klimaanlage nicht einschalten. Aber generell wirklich sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder😎😎

Great place for relaxing break

Smashing location in the best area on the beach. Lovely views from the apartment over the beach and the bay. Only 1 minute to the beach and or beach bar/restaurant and good restaurants all around the beach. The local pier where fresh fish is landed every lunch time is 5 minutes walk. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Beste Location in Santa Maria!

Das Objekt hat definitiv die beste Lage im Appartment Komplex Porto Antigo 2; meiner Meinung nach sogar die beste Lage in ganz Santa Maria! Von der Haustür waren es jeweils 10 Meter zum Strand und zum Pool. Gerade der Blick von der Terrasse ist echt einmalig! Zu Restaurants und Einkaufsmeile wenige Meter, aber dennoch ruhig gelegen. Das Appartment ist innen modern maritim eingerichtet; Genug Schränke und Ablagemöglichkeiten sind vorhanden, die Betten könnten eine neue Matratze vertragen. Das offene Schlafzimmer mit Galerie ist schön für Kinder, allerdings nachts sehr warm und laut vom Meeresrauschen. Das Bad ist recht klein und hat kein Fenster. Die Buchung war absolut unkompliziert, vor Ort wurden Pool & Anlage jeden Tag gereinigt. Wenn jetzt noch wie versprochen dieses Jahr ein WiFi kommt, ist das Appartment für unseren Geschmack absolut empfehlenswert!

Perfectly positioned, a well maintained property in the heart of Santa Maria, you feel part of the community and the location was the envy of many an ‘all inclusive’ traveller from further up the beach!

Fantastic location, probably the best place to live!

Apatrment had a stunning location. Everything was perfect except for the beds which was hard as a rock. For a high priced living this must be fixed. The swimmingpool was veeeeery cold! Overall a winner though!

Absolutely Perfect

We have just returned from 2 amazing weeks in Lorraine's gorgeous apartment. The location literally could not be any better, just a few feet from the beach and right next to the immaculately kept private pool area, with shops, restaurants and the bakery within a short walk. There are 3 decent sized bedrooms, a large kitchen/diner/lounge and a shower room with bidet. The jewel in the crown for us was the huge patio with views over the beach and sea and, to the side, the pool. I'm already missing my early morning cuppa out there before the rest of the family awoke! This is clearly a well kept family home which has a great assortment of cooking equipment (there's no oven but there is a microwave/grill, a George Foreman grill and a sandwich toaster) plus tons of local information, books, DVDs (not that we ever sat inside to be able to watch them!) and an assortment of games. On site, all the staff were helpful and attentive and Lorraine was incredibly efficient throughout the whole process, from booking, through to advice whilst we were there. She also arranged for us to be collected in style from the airport as it was my son's 14th birthday: Alex and Stefan who picked us up were a great source of local info and lovely guys too. Alex sings in many of the local bars 6 nights a week and is well worth seeking out for an enjoyable evening's entertainment. We thought the apartment was the best in Santa Maria - and judging by the number of people who admired it as they passed, we were not the only ones! This was our second visit to Sal but our first to this apartment, but I'm certain we'll be returning.

Possibly the best place to stay in Sal

An excellent apartment which is very well equipped and clearly well maintained. Best views in Sal from veranda. Excellent position to explore Santa Maria and the beach.

Best apartment of Santa Maria

Dear Lorraine, We came back a few days ago and already miss your apartment, what a wonderful place to stay! You said it's the best apartment and it is! During our stay we haven't seen any apartment we would have preferred above yours. The location is great, next to the beach and the pool. Santa Maria itself was lovely too, nice people and lots of restaurants. We really enjoyed our holiday and so did our kids! Kind regards, Rosalie Veneklaas

Fantastic

I never do reviews but this time I had to make an exception. From the moment we booked this apartment the owners were on hand to help in every way, they were informative, helpful and friendly. The apartment itself is spectacular, nothing is forgotten. There are plug adapters, hair dryer, dvds, games, towels, sun lounger cushions (which are well appreciated). You name it they have thought of it. The view is fantastic, the apartment is clean, and we was only there a week and a lady came round and cleaned and changed bed and towels mid way through our stay. Security guard on duty 24/7 although it did not seem at all like it was needed as I felt safe everywhere I went. Even the local people selling things were friendly and not "in your face" at any time. I loved every second of my trip, I make a point of never going back to the same place twice, but think this time I may make an exception.

We are Andrew and Lorraine and we have a 12 year old daughter called Poppy. We like places away from the mass tourist market. We liked the idea of an up and coming destination with year round sunshine and only 6 hours from England.
Since we have been visiting Sal we have become friends with alot of the 'Ex Pats' and locals. My daughter always plays with the local children and loves to learn how to catch fish, and play in the sea.
We have visited Santiargo, and are hoping to visit the other islands soon.
We enjoy the seafood, and our late afternoon drink in 'Q' beach bar next to the complex.

We initially bought for an investment, but just find Sal our home from home. We always look forward to returning and seeing the changes.

We enjoy being right on the beach. I love to sit on my patio and watch my daughter play on the beach in front of the apartment. We like the convenience of the location, and the peace of the complex.
