Villa Giava is a beautifully restored farmhouse dating back to the early 1900s, nestled in a peaceful setting near a small stream and lush woods. The owners have carefully preserved original architectural elements, including wooden beams and terracotta ceiling bricks, while incorporating contemporary design and bright interiors.
The property enjoys an ideal location: just 6 km from the historic center of Lucca, a short drive from Pisa and Florence, and within easy reach of the renowned Versilia beaches, including Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi.

A perfect location for a family trip. Ver picturesque setting, spacious accommodation with a lovely large pool. Allowed us to visit Lucca, Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano and Riomaggiore as well as spend a day at each of Pinocchio Park and Piccolo Mondo water park.

Lovely family villa

We had a wonderful stay in this villa. Kitchen was very well stocked with crockery, utensils etc. We did miss not having a kettle although there was plenty machines for the coffee drinkers. We used the outside patio for bbq and eating. Pool and area was very clean. Enough bedrooms/bathrooms for 7 of us. Only small complaint is that we would have liked a couple of comfortable chairs in the lounge.

These guys are just amazing! The villa is in a fantastic location with great character and the guys looking after it are just the best! The disadvantages are: cold pool water and lack of soundproofing in the house itself. But the location is just fab!

Highly recommended! We loved Villa Giava! First of all, a big compliment to Elisa, the host. She was always available to help! The house has everything you need: five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a kitchen, a big yard, the possibility to sit outside and inside, air conditioning and a private swimming pool. We used the pool every day. The house is centrally located. From this place, it's easy to visit cities or go to the beach. Highly recommend this place, go visit! My family and I had the best time at Villa Giava. The very well equipped vacation home is based in a very calm and quiet neighborhood (…also the neighbors were very helpful and friendly when we had trouble ordering a taxi to Lucca). Our stay was especially great because of the flawless communication with Elisa who is hosting this rental. She is very warm hearted, super nice, patient and helpful, and from the day of the booking on she was available every time I had questions and helped me with planning a great experience for my family. An extra star is the fact that the pool is entirely private, which, I figured out is quite rare in Italy. The pictures of this house definitely meet reality. We’ll definitely come back! Giava - Good sized rooms and really spacious outdoor areas with plenty of places for us all to relax and eat together. We had everything we needed in a high spec villa. The location was a close drive to Lucca and Pisa and had a great Restaurant within walking distance. There was plenty or towels, plates etc and an adequate sized kitchen to prepare our meals. Slight quibbles over the amount of electric you can use within the hire cost and over the mid week cleaning (the lady spoke Italian and we didn't so we didn't get the level of cleaning we expected). Overall a great place for our family to get together, relax, swim, cook, go out for dinner and sleep comfortably. Would return again.

We have recently returned from a week stay at the Giava villa. We were two families consisting of l0 people in total and the villa was perfect. The holiday had been delayed for 2 years due to COVID. We would like to thank Tuscan Houses for honouring the booking over that time. The villa was very clean, tidy and had everything we could possible need for our stay. The pool and grounds were very well kept and cleaned regularly. The view around the villa was stunning and very peaceful. Elisa and the Tuscan House team were very accommodating and were always on the end of a phone if we required anything. They even recommended and booked the local restaurant for us.This is a must if you visit the Giava villa as the food was outstanding and again the setting was beautiful. The location of the villa was perfect. We hired a car and visited Cinque Terre, Florence and Pisa. We would highly recommend Tuscan Houses and would most definitely book through them again in the future.

Passamos dias maravilhosos em Giava! Elisa sempre muito simpática e solicita. Muito obrigada! Achamos só que deveria ter uma flexibilidade maior no dia de saida, pois nosso voo era a noite, viajariamos mais de 26 horas até chegarmos em casa e tivemos que sair da casa pela manhã. Isso foi duro...

Villa stupenda con grande piscina e grandi spazi sia interni che esterni. 5 camere da letto ognuna con bagno in camera. Cucina con grande frigo e attrezzata per ogni necessità (lavastoviglie, forno, forno a microonde, bollitore, piano a induzione, ecc..). Possibilità di pranzare e cenare all’esterno sotto un gazebo e possibilità di fare BBQ. Lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice. Siamo stati benissimo. La location è circondata da una verdissima collina. Una oasi di pace. Parcheggio privato. Host molto disponibili per ogni evenienza e consigli sulle cose da fare nei dintorni. Airbnb - August - 2024

Wir hatten wirklich eine schöne Zeit in diesem Haus. Schon das Ankommen mit einer sehr herzlichen Begrüßung von Elisa, Espresso, einer Auswahl an Getränken, Nudeln und einem Rezept war richtig gut. Die Zimmer sind völlig ausreichend, sehr sauber und haben ein eigenes Bad. Die umfangreich ausgestattete Küche lädt zum Kochen ein. Der Pool ist wunderschön und das Grundstück wirklich gepflegt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

A great villa

The villa was great, very clean, lots of space, air conditioning was super. The swimming pool was enjoyed by everyone ( kids ages 4-8 yrs), lovely outdoor space too. Temperature of the pool was good. You need a car as the villa is about 15 mins from Lucca situated in the beautiful countryside. Great restaurant within a 1 km walk. Our host was brilliant and so responsive. Would recommend this property for a holiday in Tuscany.

Perfect vacation! Wonderful house.

From the time we arrived, we were treated like family. Elisa and her staff are so nice and welcoming. They had so many suggestions on places to eat and sights to see with a wealth of information. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Lucca and other cities. Great central location.
