We had a truly unforgettable holiday in this beautiful villa. The property is of outstanding quality, with a meticulously maintained garden that is a real delight for anyone with an eye for aesthetics. Everything worked perfectly, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped – something that a foodie like me especially appreciated. A special thank you goes to Elisa from TuscanHouses, whose excellent service and local tips made our stay even more enjoyable. She helped us arrange bike rentals and even a fantastic “chef at home” dinner experience – both of which added a unique touch to our holiday. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious stay in Tuscany!

Beautiful Tuscany Villa

We enjoyed the Tuscany Villa - very comfortable and everything you need for 1 week stay was provided. Beautiful country villa / gorgeous gardens! Highly recommend Villa for family or other large group.

Wonderful Home.

Everything was spectacular, couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Both Elisa’s were wonderful and very helpful. The grounds are impeccable, the pool was perfect. The entire house being AC’d was perfect. The only issue I had was the wifi went out due to a storm but it never worked all that well. We were fine as we really didn’t have to have it but if you need it for work etc.. you should be prepared. Nothing anyone can do bc the location is remote.

The villa was a dream. We had the best time out of all of the areas we visited during our trip (2+ weeks around France and Italy). Our kids loved the pool, the private chef who came recommended with the property was fantastic, and the accommodations were simply incredible. During our stay, we were planning how we could come back and visit again! Elisa (property manager) and her team were responsive, professional and very kind. Highly recommend all around. Thank you!

Simone and Elisa were nice hosts and always (literally!) helpful. The property is beautifully located and arranged and allowed us to relax in the garden and by the pool and to feel comfortable. Indeed, access to the house it is not easy (a car is needed) as the main road and a supermarket are several kilometres away - but that didn't bother us. We really recommend a stay at villa Calliope! Amazing!

My family and I (five adults) had an absolutely lovely time at the property. This house wants for nothing. There is plenty of room for folks to spread out, as well as plenty of great spaces for coming together. The grounds and landscaping is superb. Eliza was always available and incredibly helpful. The only thing to be aware of is the unique road up to the house, however hardly an issue! We had two vehicles in our group and it was not a problem. Great location and cannot wait to come back!

Family Getaway in the Hills of Lucca

Our family of three children, in-laws, and extended all visited Villa Calliope in late June. Elisa, the owner, was incredibly supportive and responsive from start to finish! She was great in conforming the booking, the check in process, assisting with special requests, and checking out! Our family wanted to arrange for a driver to local vineyards, Florence and La Spezia. Elisa’s recommendations were top notch! We also wanted a chef for dinner! The chef was truly fabulous! We got to hear her story! She set the most beautiful table. And the food was the best! The villa itself is breathtaking! The layout was perfect for our eight guests. Everyone had their own space to retreat and recharge. The patios, gazebo and pool were lovely for family time together. The house is fully equipped with all you need and was spotless! The driveway is accessible for all cars. The views from the villa are stunning! So many beautiful sunrises and sunsets were enjoyed by all! I can’t say enough and we will definitely be back again!

Hi all, We spent 10 days in Villa Calliope (7 adults and 2 children) during August. The stay was wonderful! The villa is in a very good condition matching the pictures. The garden is extremely well planned and kept. There’s a constant light smell of lavender. The rooms are very spacious and a big plus is the bathroom in each room. The villa is fully equipped with everything from a washing machine and drier to inflatable pool mattress. The pool is also great with an amazing view while still being concealed from the 2 neighboring villas. In my opinion, the neighbors are an advantage even if you’re looking for privacy, thanks to good planning. Elisa who manages the villa is also super nice and helpful and even gave us a virtual tour. Very recommended! The location is also close to Lucca (ca. 25 min. Drive) and the surrounding offer some nice small restaurants a supermarket and bakery (10 min. Driving distance). Small downsides. A car is a must and the access road is a little challenging, especially if you go when rain is forecasted (4x4 recommended). The mountainy landscape is great for the view and privacy, but doesn’t allow much hiking in the area and going to a restaurant or shopping by foot. But, as I said, bottom line, a great place we would like to visit again!

La maison est très belle et bien équipée. Le site est assez isolé mais si l’on recherche de la tranquillité c’est très bien. Problèmes d’eau chaude qui vont être solutionnés et ne pas prévoir d’avoir besoin d’un trop gros débit en Wi-Fi (connexion satellite) Plus surprenant, l’électricité est en supplément????
