Appartement obtenu de la conversion d'une grange qui fait partie d'un village typique du Chianti au coeur de la Toscane. Le hameau remonte au 13ème siècle et domine les vignobles environnants, les oliveraies et les bois du haut d'une colline. Sa position - à l'intérieur de la zone du Chianti Classico - est idéale pour respirer un air d'intemporalité et de tranquillité absolues pour des vacances de détente totale immergées dans la nature. En même temps, vous vous retrouverez au cœur de la culture, car le village est situé à proximité des principaux lieux d'intérêt historique de la Toscane. L'appartement dispose d'un grand jardin privé. Il est meublé avec un bon goût moderne maximisant le confort et offre une atmosphère typiquement toscane avec leur combinaison de plafonds avec poutres apparentes, murs blanchis à la chaux et sols en terre cuite. Wonderful Appartment

Wonderful Apartment in tuscany. Romantic location. Good communication before arrival. One day we had a strong thunderstorm and the day after the owner came by and asked, if everything is o. K., really nice... At the arrival the owner showed us everything and we got a bottle of oil for free and there was some wine to drink. The tennis court is really good and the pool too... We'll come back

Perfect, characterful Chianti hideaway

Excellent communication from Marco prior to arrival - met by his mum and dad who showed us around the apartment & explained all the ins and outs. It is definitely hidden away - up a mile long gravel track - not for the faint hearted. The apartment is lovely - a real home from home - well equipped for self catering. We felt comfortable there straight away. The hamlet itself is just gorgeous - and whilst there are 28 other properties this one is at one end so very quiet. The pool was a welcome addition - fabulous views The location is great for exploring Tuscany & the Chianti region - Castellini is a lovely little place jut 20 minutes away and Poggibonsi is good for your groceries. There are at least 3 wineries within 15 minutes drive that offer wine tasting.

Un vrai bonheur à la fois en pleine nature et proche de tout!

Cet appartement est parfaitement bien situé pour visiter la Toscane.A la fois au calme et proche de toutes les commodités,il permet de profiter pleinement de ses vacances.La piscine est parfaite et l 'accueil des propriétaires excellent.

Agréable, bien équipé, et bien situé

Maison en pierre située dans un charmant petit hameau au sommet d'une des nombreuses petites collines de ce magnifique paysage. Intérieur bien équipé et excellente literie. Petit bémol en cette fin avril encore très froid pas de chauffage disponible. Le jardin est splendide et très reposant. La situation au cœur de la Toscane permet un parfait rayonnement de visites accessible entre 15 à 55 minutes de voiture. Parfait !

Ruhiger Ort mit schönem Garten

Die Vermieter Familie ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und produziert exzellentes Olivenöl. Die Wohnung ist vollständig eingerichtet, besonders die Küche ist wirklich zum Kochen geeignet und nichts fehlt. Leider hatten wir viel Regen und waren sehr froh über die Heizung!Was ist noch wichtig zu wissen: Die Feriensiedlung ist (wie viele in der Toskana) ziemlich abgelegen und sehr ruhig in wunderschöner Natur mit vielen Vögeln. Man fährt 1,5 km über eine nicht asphaltierte Piste dorthin. Zum nächsten Supermarkt/Bar ca 20 Minuten Fahrzeit. Die Wände zu den anderen Ferienwohnungen sind recht hellhörig. Die Wendeltreppe zur oberen Etage fanden wir gewöhnungsbedürftig. Einige Kleinigkeiten bedürfen der Reparatur/Nachbesserung. Der Pool ist ab dem 20. Mai einsatzbereit. Im Garten und in der Umgebung bei kleinen Wanderungen haben wir uns wie im Paradies gefühlt.

A pleasant stay

A key flaw in the listing was a clear description of the context or setting in which the apartment is located: i.e. one of three apartments in a 12th Century barn, part of a hamlet composed of 6-8 other such structures. Nor was it clear how difficult it would be to connect to WiFi. However, the owners, Marco and Lucia Maiani, were extremely hospitable and went out of their way to make my stay pleasant.

Wunderbare Auszeit

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem schönen, rustikalen Ferienhaus erlebt! Das Haus ist sehr gu ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern vorab, und die Begrüßung vor Ort mit einem Glas Wein haben toll funktioniert und waren sehr herzlich. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits der Route Florenz-Siena in einem absolut ruhigen und friedlichem Naturschutzgebiet. Uns hat besonders der Garten und der wunderschöne Ausblick über die Hügellandschaften begeistert. Es gibt nur noch wenige weitere Häuser in der pittoresken Ansiedlung, so dass wir wirklich ausspannen konnten. Zum Einkaufen fährt man eine Viertelstunde mit dem Auto, und auch eine ganze Reihe von tollen Ausflugszielen sind schnell erreicht. Wir können das Appartment daher nur wärmstens empfehlen: einfach top!

Four weeks of Tuscan bliss!

Familiar with the area from previous visits, my wife and I were looking for a special place to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. These apartments in the ancient hamlet of Granaio were perfect. Spacious and well equipped, situated on a hilltop surrounded by olive trees and a forest preserve we shared quiet, sunny days with the occasional deer or boar. The owners became good friends and attended our every need. This is a quiet place, at the end of a gravel road, but still only 15-20 minutes from the supermarket in Poggibonsi. An excellent choice.

Real Tuscany Experience

We had the best time in Susino! It was a wonderful surprise ! We went ( me , my husband, our son and daughter in law) in April for a week in Tuscany . The house is great, the kitchen is new and very well equipped. We love the garden and specially the views all around us. Susino is located at a Natural Park and we saw deers, wild boars, and other animals. We were welcome with very nice wine and olive oil produced near the property. Bought a few bottles of each to take home. We really recomend this place for a peacefull and real tuscan experience. It was very well located for travelling around and we did travelled around ... It was the best cost/benefit I ever had in a rental house. Hope to come back with the rest of the family next time.

SUPERB HOLIDAY

Oct 7/14 2010 Mary & David, Ilkley, West Yorkshire, UK. What a great find Susino is which is one half of a barn conversion being of 2 stories. The first floor was accessed by a lovely wooden spiral staircase which was no problem for my wife who has 3 broken bones in her foot. The hamlet is in the middle of a national park and on our visit we saw deer and badgers. Susino has a large private garden for the use of guests and has some lovely views being situated on a hilltop. The weather was kind to us, mid 20's through the day but cooler early morning and at sunset but it was October so very good for us. Directions given to us by Marco were great with no problems. We found a great restaurant recommended by the owners just on the outskirts of Poggibonsi (near the Nord Round-a-Bout) 15 mins. BOCCA d@ERSA offering 2 menus one meat, pizza & pasta and the other offering an extensive fish menu. The staff were fab and nothing was too much trouble (one waiter translated the menu for us). The accommodation had everything we needed and the owners said that they were adding some more appliances for next season. Note! Swimming pool closes at the end Sept for winter. We would highly recommend Susino and would go back again

Susino in Chianti, Tuscany

We would like to start by saying that we had a wonderful holiday when staying at Susino, and look forward to returning in the future. The listing description is accurate. Indeed, the apartment, its garden, its location, and the superb views all exceeded what we expected from this description. The apartment is located in a small, quiet hamlet, which is about 1.5 kilometres from the main road. The apartment is very well equipped for the number of people it would accommodate. The appliances provided were all easy to use. The apartment also has good screening against insects for the windows and provides screening for the entrance door. Also provided are electric plug-in repellent devices. Once our booking was confirmed, the owner emailed detailed instructions in good English for getting to the apartment (with road maps). The owner's welcome was very warm, friendly, and helpful. On our arrival he presented us with a free bottle of his own wine and olive oil (both of which are excellent, and we bought substantial numbers of each to bring home). He took care to ensure that we were familiar with the apartment and its provisions, and told us of facilities in nearby towns and villages. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.
