This modern 2 bedroom apartment was totally renovated . It is on the third floor of a classic building, located in the heart of Cannes and with a lift (elevator). The apartment is a few steps from Meynadier street, the oldest and most famous pedestrian street in Cannes. It is known for it's outside shops and festival atmosphere, but very quiet at night. This lovely apartment has high ceilings, large windows and double doors opening onto two balconies, one with a quaint street view to the sea and the Cannes old port. This apartment is ideal either for business or vacation, being only a three minute walk from the Film Festival site and beaches. Many of Cannes' most notable restaurants and shops are within a five minute walk, including Cannes' celebrated farmer's market, Forville Market.

About Michel Lavigne

I am a business man with a shop on Meynadier street, in the same building as our apartment. I have lived in Cannes all my life and am well known in the local business community. In addition, my wife and daughter also have offices on the first floor of the same apartment building. Our rental apartment is on the third floor.

I grew up in Cannes, in this apartment. We now live outside Cannes but have renovated this apartment for our use when we take retirement. Therefore, the renovation has been done to a very high quality, for our later use. We have chosen to keep this property for our retirement, because of its prime location, minutes to most major services in Cannes, and its ideal size, not too small or too big.

What makes this apartment unique

Location, location, location! For our guests, an added advantage is that during business hours, we are easily accessible, just a few metres away, for any questions and advice on local services and events. We know Cannes!

  • Unusual for a two bedroom apartment, there are two toilettes. One bathroom has a sink shower and toilette and the other bathroom has a sink, toilette and washing machine. This is a decided benefit when the apartment is being shared by two couples. The shower, sinks, toilettes and washing machine are all brand new.

We had a lovely week in this apartment. It was very clean and the owners where very helpful and really helped to make our week enjoyable. The apartment was very close to the centre of the town and facilities. In general had a lovely week and thank you very much.

Our apartment is a few steps from the famous Cannes pedestrian street, rue Meynadier, right in the centre of Cannes, with its festival atmosphere and lovely outdoor shops and restaurants. Also, just a two minute walk away is the Croisette, with it's lively beach life and world class shopping, including the home of the Cannes film festival at the Palais des Festivals. There are also a large number of private beaches, offering quality beach chairs, umbrellas, waiter and restaurant services. At either end of the long beach are two large ports for sailing and motor yachts. The region has several well known hill top villages, museums and other famous beaches, including Nice, Antibes and St Tropez. There are daily boat services from the Cannes port to St Tropez, for day trips
