Shepley village is located south of Huddersfield on the edge of the Peak District & Yorkshire Dales offering lots of great walks, bike routes and other activities. The local pub and village shop are just a short walk away and there are various pub / restaurants nearby. The famous town of Holmfirth is just a short drive or bus ride away and other places of interest are The Yorkshire Mining Museum, Cannon Hall Farm & Country Park, Kirklees Light Railway and Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Also running through Shepley is the Trans Pennine, Penistone line and the train station is just a short walk away opening the access to many Pennine villages including Honley and Penistone. The train line runs between Sheffield and Huddersfield which creates the gateway to many other great Yorkshire Cities and Towns including York, Leeds, Bradford, Barnsley & Doncaster.
