The house is located in the center of Amalfi, inside the Ancient Convent of San Basilio. It is about 400 meters from the sea which can be reached with a pleasant walk in the center of Amalfi, excellent for shopping and food shopping.

From the small equipped garden, supplied with the house, you can see the sea, but also the bell tower of the Basilica of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, above the famous Torre dello Ziro (where Giovanna the Duchess of Amalfi, protagonist of Webster's drama of the same name, died) .
Stopping in the garden of the house you will have the sensation of being surrounded by the mountains behind Amalfi (the limestone caves with stalactites and stalagmites and the Valle dei Mulini - Nature Reserve).

The apartment, completely renovated in 2008, is air conditioned and has fresh and practical furnishings. In the living room there are an armchair and a sofa bed, a dining table and a TV. The kitchen is equipped with crockery, combi oven, fridge. The double bedroom, very intimate and with a large window, has the bed in a North-South position. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet, sink and bidet.

You are certainly aware that my houses, like most of the houses in Amalfi, can be reached by stairs (from 60 to 110)

We are also in the center of Amalfi and the stairs allow us to reach airy and quiet apartments.

To better welcome you, I would like to have some information from you:

1. What time do you plan to arrive?

2. Do you come by car?

I would be grateful if you could let us know what time you are arriving and if you need a parking space

In this case you will need a paid parking (the price depends on the period) which you need to book. We have an agreement with the Gorga car park which is located near the Paper Museum in via delle cartiere 25.( Alfonso +39/335 718 4127 )

The advice I can give you is to avoid coming by car. There are ferries that provide an excellent service for the coast and buses.

3 Do you have big luggage?

It is possible to use the porter who takes you and your luggage home with the electric vehicle.

Did you know that check-in is from 15.00 to 21.30

If you plan to arrive later, it is good that you inform me.

After this time and until midnight, 40.00 will be requested for the delay.

No check-in after midnight. (for any exceptions following telephone agreements or

mail with the structure the supplement is 50)

You also know that check-out is before 10:00 to allow for the cleaning of the apartment for the guests

guests who will take over.

Please stick to these times and communicate your departure time to facilitate check-out.

Please use the apartment and furnishings with the diligence of a good father

family, respecting things and people.

You are in a holiday home and my kindness allows you to find yourself at home only for basic necessities:

liquid hand soap, liquid soap for washing dishes, toilet paper.

You will provide for further needs as you would at home

Finally, please:

1. leave the apartment in order if possible,

2. clean used dishes,

3. All differentiated rubbish taken out in the appropriate containers that will be shown to you

upon arrival.

If the dishes used are dirty or the rubbish is left in the apartment there will be a fine of 50.00

4. heating/air conditioning off

5. leave the apartment keys on the table

6. close the entrance doors

7. communicate any problems

8. Comply with European standards regarding energy consumption (air conditioning,

heating, lighting to be switched off when not needed).

In this regard, I would like to point out that, due to the well-known energy events, there may be checks and

sanctions by the competent authorities.
