Chalet Bärgsunna Penthouse has 4 double bedrooms, accommodating up to 8 people in style and comfort. Three of the four bedrooms have luxurious en-suite bathrooms. The spacious master bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC. The large second bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC. The third bedroom has 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub with shower overhead and WC. The fourth bedroom has a custom handcrafted bunk bed. All beds are European sizes. The 4th family bathroom has a bathtub with a shower overhead and WC.



Chalet Bärgsunna is a ski-in/ski-out apartment 50m from the ski piste and conveniently located just 6 minutes (400m) walk uphill from Wengen train station. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.



Located on the east side of the village, there are a variety of hiking trails a short distance from the chalet which will lead you to a wonderland of nature and stunning Alpine scenery.



This unique penthouse apartment is newly built to a luxury standard with high-quality furnishings and a beautifully designed interior. This spacious apartment occupies the whole top floor of the chalet and has a separate living room for relaxing on the upper mezzanine level with great views from its panoramic windows. It is also well-equipped for family entertainment with a large TV in multiple languages and a selection of books and movies on DVD.



Enjoy dining "al fresco" on the spacious full-width main balcony or simply relax and take in the wonderful views over Wengen village towards the surrounding mountains.



The main level has a large feature fireplace and is a great space for entertaining and relaxing in its modern open-concept dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including two ovens, a microwave and both filter and Nespresso coffee machines. The dining area is spacious enough for a large group of family or friends. And if you feel like eating out, the nearest restaurant is just 3 minutes (250m) walk away.



The apartment has a washing machine and dryer in the chalet laundry room in the basement for the private use of guests. There is also a private indoor lockable ski storage room with boot heaters in the chalet.

What you should know...



Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.
