The "Mallorca" is a new Boatlodge (September 2019), a "tiny floating house" located in a beautiful, natural environment and fully equipped for a stay of up to 4 people. Ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Surrounded by water, many boats and the city of Maastricht just 3.5 km away, this is a fantastic place for a short or long vacation in South Limburg. An oasis of peace for sleeping, yet only 10 "bicycles" minutes away from the bustling center in Maastricht.

You can easily board the BoatLodge from the floating jetty. On the right you will see a spiral staircase that takes you to the spacious and sunny roof terrace. Inside you will find two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other a small bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. This is equipped with sink, toilet and a beautiful shower. On the way to the living room you walk past the "self catering" kitchen. Complete with Senseo, whistling kettle, pans, cutlery, crockery, etc. In the living room you will find a comfortable sofa that can be transformed into a sofa bed. When the sun breaks through you can step onto the terrace from the living room and enjoy the beautiful view.
Location is not "in the heart of the city", the advantage is that you will not experience city noises here but wake up with the sound of the water birds. If you travel by car you can use this "free parking" on the marina grounds and it is definitely recommended to bring your bikes.
The Boatlodge is cozy but also relatively small compared to a normal home, (when staying with 4 people, it is nice if you can also use the terrace in the living room and lounge on the roof terrace. With lesser weather conditions this is really a "tiny house".)
For a short stay, for example a weekend in Maastricht, a very suitable stay for 4 adults. Fine sleeping places and great base.
You stay on a boat, which means that everything is slightly smaller than what you may be used to in a "normal home". For anyone familiar with a stay on boats, this is extremely comfortable.
Still, for a longer holiday more suitable for a family with 2 children or a stay for 3 adults i. p.v. 4.

In the marina, "Maastricht Marina", you can rent a leisure boat for 2 hours, 4 hours or a whole day during the WATER SPORTS SEASON (if still available and the weather conditions allow this.) Did you not bring any bicycles yourself, there are (if still available) simple bicycles for rent for adults. You can arrange this via the port office. (There are no children's bicycles available!).
Boatlodge Maastricht is "self catering", for lunch, drinks and dinner the adjacent restaurant Sofa * is recommended.
