The apartment is very charming and in a great location. It would be unfair to say the description was inaccurate because it doesn’t say it has a kitchen, however, the pictures clearly show a kitchen sink and cooking hob so by default one would expect a kitchenette.The advert says there is a coffee maker but there were no instructions on how to use the coffee maker and given they talk about cups etc one would expect there to be a kettle. When I discovered there was no kettle, although there was a box for a kettle in one of the cubby holes, I enquired and was told to boil water in a saucepan. I also discovered the hot water tap in the kitchen didn’t work and was told there was no hot water in the kitchen. The irony of this was that, when I received the check out instructions I was told that “the cleaning of dishes and the job is the guests responsibility”. I don’t know how anyone can wash dishes properly without hot water!The house did have a damp smell to it when we walked in and the reason became clear the day after our arrival when I was contacted by the agent and asked if they could access the house in our absence to check a pot under the boiler. It turns out the boiler is leaking and the “pot”needs emptying daily.In the big scheme of things these are minor issues but to know about themIn advance of arrival would lessen the disappointment Aside from a different sofa the photos were accurate
