I had a wonderful stay here! The host was absolutely lovely—very communicative, helpful, and thoughtful throughout my stay. The home was exceptionally clean and welcoming; when I walked in, it smelled like fresh laundry, which was such a nice touch. Everything I could possibly need was provided, including all the essentials, and I was even welcomed with a box of cookies!I really appreciated the care and attention to detail that went into making the stay comfortable. I highly recommend this listing if you’re staying in Ostuni!

This was an ideal rental in a very convenient location in a beautiful city. It was very clean and well-equipped with a beautiful view from the expansive roof terrace. The hosts were extremely accommodating, kind and responsive. While we were not affected, it should be noted that there are some steep stairs that might not be suitable for older or physically challenged people. That said I would highly recommend this house for an authentic Ostuni experience

Out stay was perfect. From arrival our host welcomed us with open arms and checked in with us each day. The view was amazing, the space was perfect and our host even left us someFruit and pastries. Communication was on point. We absolutely loved this house!

Fantastic location, incredible host, and beautiful stay in Ostuni!We had a wonderful stay in this clean, centrally located apartment. The location is absolutely perfect—situated on a hill leading right down to the Piazza della Libertà and the beautiful, winding streets of the Centro Storico. It’s also just a short walk to grocery stores and parking.Our landlord went completely above and beyond. We didn’t arrive until around 10 PM, but he was there waiting for us, even saving a free parking spot. Since we struggle with parallel parking, he even got one of the guys from the local bistro to help us out! He gave us a great tour of the house, shared photos of his beautiful family, and left us a delicious box of pastries from his wife. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and funny—we truly wanted for nothing.The hospitality and unbeatable location made for a truly fantastic trip. I highly recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone visiting Ostuni!

Silvano and his family are extremely gracious hosts. Their hospitality is second to none. House is very well located in quiet street, easy to get to and close walk to restaurants, shops and amenities in this beautiful hilltop town.

First off checking in with host was a amazing experience. A few days before he reached out with driving information and offered to help find a parking spot of I reached out X amount of time before hand. They meet me at the spot and walked me to the Vrbo. During my 2 weeks in Italy, the check-in proccess is surprisingly something I will be telling many storys about. They had fresh fruit picked for us, bottle of wine, and box of cookies waiting for us. The gentalmen walked us through every part of the Vrbo, took photos with our group and was making jokes, it was so much fun! It ended with him showing photos of him working at a olive oil company, we pretty much got a tour of the whole proccess and he was so happy to talk to us about it. Obviously there was a bottle of fresh olive oil from his work for us to use. Can not recommend this Vrbo more! Location was also perfect for the town, with our favorite resturant on the same street. 11/10 on all points.

Wonderful gem in the heart of Ostuni

Art on stone has everything you need for a perfect vacation in Ostuni. It’s comfortable, clean and central. The rooftop was our favorite place to hang out at sunset with a stunning view of Ostuni, the countryside and the sea. Silvano warmly greeted us and made us feel like home! We left a piece of heart here!

The hospitality and generosity of Salvino and his family are much praised in the Vrbo reviews, and deservedly so: Salvino (and his daughter Roberta and son Domenico) is a magnificent host, and the appartment a perfect base for enjoying Ostuni.

This was a perfect stay in a perfectly located area close to the historical center of town. The apartment was impeccably clean and full of many thoughtful amenities. A small bottle of Prosecco and box of delicious local pastries for us upon checking in made us feel very welcome. The multi-level roof terrace was a lovely place to enjoy breakfast and relaxing in the afternoon. Our host Silvano was a gem - so helpful in getting from the airport to the property, and recommended Marcello for taxi rides. Marcello drove us several times and that was a huge help. Do not hesitate to book this property!!!

Our stay at Art Stone House was wonderful. Silvio was an exceptional host from beginning to end. He checked in with us before our arrival, was always available to answer questions, and his lively personality and genuine warmth made us feel welcome. My husband and I communicated using bits of Italian, Spanish, French, and English—and when all else failed, Google Translate saved the day! It became one of the funniest parts of our trip. After our train from Milan arrived at 23:00, Silvio personally picked us up at the station. Retired after more than 20 years with the Italian railways, he kept us updated throughout our journey, giving us great peace of mind. His warm welcome made arriving in an unfamiliar city at night completely stress-free. On our departure, one sunny afternoon, he kindly drove us back to the station for our train to Milan and flight home to New York. The apartment was charming, comfortable, and full of character. We loved the rooftop terrace, excellent Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, and the thoughtful coffee, tea, and snacks. There is a pizza shop one minute away from the apartment, with restaurants and grocery options nearby. The only small thing to note is that the upstairs has low ceilings, so tall guests may need to duck—or, as we joked, “mind your crown.” We highly recommend Art Stone House. Thank you, Silvio, for your kindness and outstanding hospitality. We would gladly stay here again.

Perfect place

Wonderful little place, very well thought out and equipped with everything you could need, tastefully presented, immaculately clean. Beautiful terrace with nice views, walking distance to everything in Ostuni. The family were very kind, I had the warmest welcome they shared local information, recommendations and making sure I had everything I needed. They were also incredibly patient with my lack of Italian language skills. I plan to come back again soon, when I have learnt some more Italian!

Great location and rooftop terrace

Stayed 5 nights in October. Great location - walk 5 min to city center, 1 min to cheap but tasty pizza and a self-serve laundromat, and 8 min to Carrefour market. Stairs from street level to first floor, steep but good handrails. Kitchen well-equipped, good seating, left us fruit and snacks on arrival, good bathroom with shower. Circular stairs up to second-floor bathroom; low ceiling due to domed roof, we thought it was fun. Second bathroom with toilet only. Stairs up to two-level rooftop terrace, which was fantastic. We had a great time and our host could not have been nicer.

Charm and comfort in the best location

This charming apartment with a lovely rooftop terrace was a perfect home for us in Ostuni. From here we could explore the Adriatic coast and the inland towns of Alberobello, Locorotondo, etc. The host Silvano welcomed us warmly and even saved a parking spot for us, mere steps from the apartment. We appreciated the delicious sweets and fruit that awaited us. Throughout our stay Silvano was at our disposal should we have questions or need anything. The apartment is well furnished in a charming manner. Kitchen is well equipped and everything is spotlessly clean. The terrace is a lovely place to sip a glass of wine before or after going out for dinner. When we left, Silvano bid us goodbye in person. We felt that we were saying goodbye to an old fried.

Best holiday home ever!

We have just returned home after 2,5 weeks we will never forget. If you are considering booking this VRBO: Book, book, book! The house is spotlessly clean and has everything you need: A comfortable bed, a well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, beach essentials, aircondition (a life saver in the heat), Wi-Fi, a breathtaking terrace and much more. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace where there is always sun as well as shadow. The terrace is even more beautiful than on the photos! The house is very well located as you are a few steps from the centro storico but also close to a lot of local and very reasonably priced restaurants with great pizza. You are also close to the supermarket. Ostuni is very well located and we visited the beach, Bari, Lecce, Alberobello, Pugliano a Mare, Monopoli and Locorotondo as well as a beautiful masseria. What was most memorable about our stay was Silvano. My girlfriend has traveled Italy for many years and even though she has met a lot of great hospitality and kind hosts, she has never experienced anything like Silvano! He was kind, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that we were enjoying our holiday. He wrote us on WhatsApp checking in on us and helped us with all our questions. He even wrote us to make sure that we were safe at home in Denmark! Thank you Silvano. All the best to you and Maria, Francesco, Roberta, Domenico and the cute dog Fiocco. We will never forget our stay and will return the next time we are in Ostuni!!!

Es handelt sich um ein traditionelles Haus mit gemauerten, gewölbten Zimmerdecken in einem ruhigen Teil der Altstadt des 18. Jahrhunderts. Die Umgebung ist ruhig. Die Zufahrt mit PKW ist wegen der zahlreichen engen Einbahnstraßen ohne Navi nicht denkbar. Nachdem man sich orientiert hat, ist es aber immer möglich gewesen, einen Parkplatz in vertretbarer Nähe zu finden. Die Begrüßung und Beratung durch die Familie des Besitzers war aufmerksam und ausgesprochen herzlich. Die Wohnung liegt in der 2. und 3. Etage mit Dachterasse und ist mit engen Treppen nicht für Gehbehinderte geeignet. Die technische Ausstattung der Wohnung ist auf dem aktuellen Stand. Wir haben uns in dem für uns Nordeuropäer ungewohnten Gebäude ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Ostuni und die Umgebung sind auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.

Nous recommandons, sans hésitation, cet hébergement à 1 minute à pied du merveilleux Centre historique d'Ostuni. L'accueil a été chaleureux et convivial. L'appartement a du cachet, tout est propre, vous retrouverez plusieurs facilités. L'hôte est disponible au besoin pour tous les conseils souhaités. Un séjour de rêve!!! N.B: il est préférable d'être à l'aise avec les escaliers puisque le logement est sur 2 paliers. Pour nous, c'était sans problème. Merci pour tout, nous avons adoré!!!

Quaint, Charming, and Friendly

We arrived early afternoon and were greeted by kind and friendly Silvano. We knew from the minute he led us to the home this was going to be the perfect location. It’s located a short walk from everything you need or want to see. We loved the uniqueness of the home. High kitchen ceilings, spiral staircase to bedroom, and a wonderful rooftop terrace to relax on with a glass of wine or afternoon lunch. Being on the road for several weeks, the clothesline allowed us to catch up on washing and drying our laundry. It was HOME! Siamo arrivati nel primo pomeriggio e siamo stati accolti dal gentile e cordiale Silvano. Sapevamo dal momento in cui ci ha portato a casa questa sarebbe stata la posizione perfetta. Si trova a pochi passi da tutto ciò di cui avete bisogno o che volete vedere. Ci è piaciuta molto l'unicità della casa. Soffitti alti della cucina, scala a chiocciola per la camera da letto e una meravigliosa terrazza sul tetto per rilassarsi con un bicchiere di vino o un pranzo pomeridiano. Essendo in viaggio per diverse settimane, lo stendibiancheria ci ha permesso di recuperare il lavaggio e l'asciugatura del nostro bucato. Era CASA
