Why Tom Phillips chose Dardanelle
If you are planning a visit to Central Arkansas, and would appreciate a quiet stay on a lake then, "The A-Frame on Delaware Bay" is perfect for you. We are located in the Arkansas River Valley, at the southern edge of the Ozark Mountains. The area abounds in wildlife and mature forests. It is an easy drive to Fort Smith, a frontier historical town and two hours from Little Rock, home of the Bill Clinton Presidential Library. A day trip to Branson, MO, with its live shows will take about 3 1/2 hours to drive.

Beautful property in a great location
We enjoyed our stay at the A-Frame. Tom was great and very helpful with information. We couldn't believe how meticulously clean the place was when we arrived. There wasn't even dust under the beds. Rowdy was my daughters favorite, every morning she woke up and asked if Rowdy was their. When I return to Arkansas I will stay at the A-Frame again.
Anthony, Thank you for staying with us at "The A-Frame at Delaware Bay", I'm so glad that you enjoyed your visit with your family that live nearby, and to the Lake Dardanelle area. Every time that visitors leave it seems to take Rowdy a day or two to recover, he so enjoys the children that visit. Please come back and visit us again. Tom
We enjoyed our stay so much that we hated to leave. The views from the deck are awesome! Our dogs loved playing in the water and riding in the boat. We took a day trip to Mt. Magazine because it was so close. The A-Frame was very clean, we slept great in the bed, very comfortable and it had everything we needed. Wish we were still there! Thank you Carolyn and Tom for your hospitality, you were great to rent from.

The cabin was perfect as well as the location! Upon our arrival, Carolyn so sweetly greeted us and gave us a tour of the cabin. It was very clean and so well furnished with everything we needed for our stay. ...and what a view of the lake from the large windows and decks! The cabin's location made for easy and enjoyable trips to Mount Nebo, Mount Magazine, The Cliff House, and the White River/Mountain Home area. Thanks, Tom and Carolyn!
