Why Tom Phillips chose Dardanelle
If you are planning a visit to Central Arkansas, and would appreciate a quiet stay on a lake then, "The A-Frame on Delaware Bay" is perfect for you. We are located in the Arkansas River Valley, at the southern edge of the Ozark Mountains. The area abounds in wildlife and mature forests. It is an easy drive to Fort Smith, a frontier historical town and two hours from Little Rock, home of the Bill Clinton Presidential Library. A day trip to Branson, MO, with its live shows will take about 3 1/2 hours to drive.

perfect cabin; perfect location
The cabin was perfect as well as the location! Upon our arrival, Carolyn so sweetly greeted us and gave us a tour of the cabin. It was very clean and so well furnished with everything we needed for our stay. ...and what a view of the lake from the large windows and decks! The cabin's location made for easy and enjoyable trips to Mount Nebo, Mount Magazine, The Cliff House, and the White River/Mountain Home area. Thanks, Tom and Carolyn!
Truly charming and beautiful location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the A-Frame at Delaware Bay. Tom and Carolyn did a wonderful job creating a place for a peaceful getaway. We enjoyed a couple excursions to Mt. Magazine (for hiking) and Russellville (for coffee and grocery shopping), which were both beautiful drives. The cabin is a cozy home away from home and we look forward to returning with our family for some more lake time serenity!
Thanks for your kind words, so glad you had a enjoyable visit and we look forward to hosting you and your family once again. Tom
CABIN WAS CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. NICE VIEW OF LAKE.
Thank you for visiting "The A-Frame on Delaware Bay" I'm glad that you enjoyed your visit. As we discussed, the spiral staircase made it difficult if not impossible for elderly or handicapped to access the upstairs bed rooms. Other than that set back I understand that you enjoyed your family visit. Tom
Beautiful and very relaxing!
Tom was very sweet and very helpful to our inquiries. We will most definitely recommend this cabin to anyone coming to that area in Arkansas.
Stephanie, Thank you for your kind comments, so glad that you enjoyed your stay, please feel free to return to visit us again. Tom
Very private, quiet and the view was the best. We will be back.
We had 7 lady anglers from 4 states stay a week while fishing a bass tournament. Perfect location on the lake. Quiet, relaxing and the set up was perfect for all. Will be back, no more motel for us.
Your group was exactly the guests that we had in mind when we decided to open "The A-Frame At Delaware Bay" for short term vacationers, anglers that would appreciate the Lake and its resources. You are welcome to return and visit us again. Tom
