Welcome to our cabin! This fully renovated cabin is perfectly located, close to the North Shore and the most amazing state parks in Minnesota. While our cabin is conveniently located for adventure, it’s also far enough away to offer the seclusion needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin sits on 20 acres of wooded bliss with ease of access for snowmobile or ATV riders as the North Shore Trail connects to the back of our property. Enjoy a quiet evening by the fire or relax in our wood burning sauna.
Located just 12 miles to Two Harbors and 13 miles to Beaver Bay, you will find many restaurants to explore and shops to take in. When you’re looking for great hiking, we are located just 12 miles to Gooseberry falls. As you continue up the shore you’ll find Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettegouche, George Crosby Manitou and Temperance River. While all of these parks offer amazing hikes and views, our favorite is Grand Portage State Park just at the border of Canada. It will take about an hour and a half to two hours to get there but well worth the drive. Then on your way back, you can stop in at all the other wonderful parks along the way.
The fall time is the best time to be at the cabin. Crisp, cool nights with little bugs make evening camp fires perfect. Be sure to look up while sitting by the fire at night to catch some amazing star gazing. Being so far from the city lights, it’s amazing what you can see at night! Perfectly situated amongst the tall pine trees, it’s perfect!
While we’re sure you’ll spend most of your time enjoying all the north shore has to offer, you’ll be pleased to know that inside, our cabin has all you’d ever need. The full kitchen is ready for you to enjoy, two bedrooms each with queen beds and a sleeper sofa with a full bed ensures you’ll have enough room to sleep everyone. The bathroom also tends to be a favorite of guests with the custom tiled shower!
Feel free to bring your ATV with easy access to the North Shore. This is a great way to see the fall colors at your own speed!

Weekend Getaway

Very quiet little property. We absolutely loved our stay. Only complaints were the water in the shower didn't get quite hot enough, and the tv/roku in the bedroom did not work at all.

Great escape!

Clean, quiet, and off the beaten path. Very comfortable bed. The only thing I might suggest is to provide a few coffee filters. But we made due with a paper towel. So no real issue. We will be back!

AMAZING Getaway!

We had such an amazing getaway at this cabin to enjoy the North Shore in the fall. There was a slight hiccup with the heater having issues turning on (because we were the first of the season) but the owner was SO responsive and drove all the way up to make sure that it was fixed. Excellent customer service, excellent escape and great for families!

Great location

This cabin was easy to find from Two Harbors, with the very clear directions from the owner. Access code provided didn't work, which was challenging at 10pm. Cozy cabin, but there were a LOT of dead flies around on the floor and on windowsills.

Nice and relaxing!

This is the perfect place to stay to get away from the busy-ness along the shore of Lake Superior. Close enough that it didn't take long to get to tourist spots and town, but far enough away that it was incredibly peaceful. Would stay again!

Wonderful trip!!

This cabin was a perfect place to stay for our trip to North Shore. It was 15 miles from the Lake and all the tourist attractions, and we had all the privacy and Northwoods beauty we wanted. My nephew was especially ecstatic when he found out there was Roku TV, even though he was limited on the time he could watch. The cabin is very well maintained and clean. The outbuildings are also kept up and there is a fire pit available for the the evenings. We didn't get to use the sauna, but I'm sure it would have been fun. The state trail is close by if you like to hike. Bring lots of bug spray!!! Awesome place!!

Quiet and peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay.! We loved how quiet it was when we got back after a long day exploring the north shore. When we come back up for another adventure we hope to stay again!

Cute cabin on a great property

This cute cabin is in a great location to explore the North Shore. The outdoor dry sauna was a nice treat! Linens, towels, and basic salt/pepper supplied. Keurig and regular coffee pot provided. I recommend packing cooking oil, spices, tin foil, and plastic wrap, for those planning to cook onsite. A charcoal grill is provided, we had to buy briquettes. Internet was spotty (expected for the area) beware if you require a reliable connection. Pack bug spray - you're going to need it!

Relaxing getaway

This quiet retreat in the country was just what we needed. A full kitchen and laundry on site were bonuses. A less buggy time of year would be nice to enjoy the outdoor amenities. Thank you!

Great short getaway

My husband and I booked this place for a mini-honeymoon trip after our wedding. We wanted to be at the north shore, but not be surrounded by a ton of people all day long. This place was perfect. The quiet location in the country was exactly what we were looking for, and it was still close by to many great hiking spots, sightseeing spots, and wonderful places to eat and drink. The only downside was the amount of bugs/mosquitos buzzing around every time we stepped outside the cabin door- but we were kind of expecting that as we experienced the same last summer on a different trip up north in the woods. And honestly, we've experienced worse in the bug/mosquito department, haha. Brian and Jessica also responded very quickly when we struggled with the lock upon our arrival. It was resolved in minutes. The cabin is clean and well-stocked. We would love to return in the winter!

Clean, comfortable cabin

Had a great getaway in this remote location. Short drive to downtown Two Harbors. Lots of newer amenities including washer/dryer. Enjoyed our stay.

Private, cozy cabin with sauna

We spent 5 nights at this private, cozy cabin. We loved that there were no other homes or cabins near by. It is close to the road, but pine trees mostly block the view and there was very little traffic. We loved the sauna! There was a heavy, wet snow the night before we arrived, but Brian had it plowed and paths shoveled before we got there. We also really appreciated that there was one low pet fee for dogs. Our Golden Retriever could run through the snow and explore the woods without being on a leash.

Quiet Country with Easy Access to a town

We very much enjoyed this quiet country experience. We were able to relax and hang out. The state trail was extremely close to the house so we were able to walk down and walk on the trail. We did some snowshoeing. We did get 10 inches of snow and they had a snowplow comes 2x. We were very grateful.

Two Harbors holds a special place in our hearts, as it is where Jess and I began our love story. When the time was right we also decided that the Shore was the appropriate place for us to be Married. Now we come back often to spend time in many of our favorite places.
