Great Location! Needs Attention!
The location is great! Building had an elevator so being on the third floor was no problem. This apartment has street view in front and dilapidated Common area in the back. The pictures are deceiving. The furnishings and bathroom appearances are not new. Plumbing fixtures are loose and the toilet is coming off the wall! Attention to maintenance could really improve the experience.

Given the amount we paid for 6 nights (c1,500 euros) we would have expected a lot more from the accommodation•Poor instructions to access the property - label for flat number was hidden inside key lock so we struggled to find the correct key•The flat number wasn’t visible on door so we had no idea which was our flat•Cockroaches were running in bedroom and bathroom - local agent said it’s ‘normal' in Lisbon and just suggested buying some repellent•Broken toilet seat in ensuite•No mirrors in either bedroom to do hair•Couldn’t use socket in ensuite as the plug socket was below the drawer which wouldn’t open•No welcome pack of basic supplies - e.g. milk•TV doesn’t work other than on Apps•Soft mattress which was concave so very uncomfortable•Thin pillows which were really bad for sleeping•No corkscrew in flat so we had to buy one•It is a very noisy area due to its central location.•The noise from the street could be heard in the bedroom facing the street as if we had windows wide opened, so was forced to sleep with ear plugs during the entire stay. •Main bathroom had broken tiles which had been badly repaired •No possibility to recycle waste as only one bin (nowadays it’s quite important!) •Basic dining set and some chipped mugs

Not the best, not the worst
We booked through vrbo because we were hoping to book from an individual but this listing is from a company, so the experience was a bit impersonal. On the plus side the unit was clean and had nice heating. It was also very close to many local points of interest.
On the minus side, I expect proper shower amenities similar to a hotel, but they didn't provide hand soap, and only a tiny packet of shampoo/body soap enough for one shower, even though we stayed there for 5 days. Also, we were on the third floor and were required to take out any trash bags we had. I would expect that the cleaning fee covers the removal of trash from trash cans. Me and my friends agreed that we would stay at a hotel next time we travel.

Didn't Feel Like Home
Property location was excellent, but nothing else was as it seemed (pics were dated) . I wouldn't stay again even though the company did refund some of our money. The building has mechanical, safety, plumbing, and cosmetic issues.
While some issues could be fixed, so were and some weren't (only after many conversations with the company) and issues were many. Building was being painted and covered in scaffolding and visqueen - could not open windows and window sills were covered in dust (we were not informed). The elevator didn't work until day 5 - when we left (we were on 3rd floor and rented as because it had one). Master bath didn't drain and the toilet was literally coming off the wall (we had to share toilet with others - we specially rented 2 bedroom 2 bath). The master bedroom AC leaked, and I slipped - we had to put the mop bucket under it and put towel down as splashed and made noise when dripping. Coffee pot did not have basket and we had to shop for filters, which were not easy to find. The main building front door entrance was not latching - could push open. was not locking. Couch conditional was bad - felt springs and felt like could collapse. 2nd bathroom toilet bidet attachment leaked a little. The kitchen door to the outside couldn't be kept open as it was bird and poo infested (if all else was working this would not have mattered, however it would have been nice to know ahead).

This property had a great location! We used the transfer service from the train station and we’re glad we did with all the one way streets. The property is in need of a refresh such as fresh paint and tile repairs. All the appliances are modern and new. The cabinets are very high up so not easy to reach for shorter people. Our main complaint would be the hardness of the mattresses. Overall, this was a roomy homebase for our Lisbon explorations
Die Wohnung hat einen besonderen Altbau-Charme, ist groß und sehr gut gelegen, alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Einrichtung ist hübsch und komfortabel. Trotz großer Wärme draußen war es innen angenehm kühl. Im direkten Umfeld sind mehrere Supermärkte, die U-Bahn und die Tram-Linie 28.
