Come relax and enjoy this beautifully remodeled home located in the "sweet spot" of the Balboa Peninsula. The Dock is the back unit of this duplex home. Walk to all the best spots Balboa Peninsula has to offer! If booked, please consider The Dock sister property Starfish Cottage HA/VRBO #787473.

Typical Dock Day: Walk 2 short blocks to beach for sunrise, enjoy a cup of Keurig brewed coffee or tea on the large shared front patio, shower in the elegant, cozy bathroom, watch your beloved sports team or movie on the Samsung 55" UHD/Smart TV in the living room or the Samsung 40" UHD/Smart TV in the bedroom, use provided beach chairs and boogie boards to get lots of sand between your toes, BBQ on the natural gas grill or walk a block maybe two to a fantastic restaurant, watch the sunset, and read followed by sleep on a comfortable clean bed. Next day hit repeat with a few changes for variety.

Towels including beach, bath, hand and wash clothes plus kitchen towels provided. Large, shared front patio with Weber natural gas BBQ, table with comfortable cushioned chairs (seats 4), and beach gear (4 beach chairs, umbrella, 2 boogie boards). Best suited for 1-4 guests including: families with respectful, older children (8+YRS), couples, business travelers, girls get away, guys golf outing, visiting professors, and Hoag Hospital patients. There is a friendly, quiet professional that is long term tenant in the front unit of our home. You may never see or hear him but good to be aware he is on the property.

On 34th Street, everything you need is conveniently located within a short walk. Our family loves the beach and the bay. Great Newport Beach Vacation Home

Holly and Drew were great hosts, very nice people and available to answer any questions/make recommendations. This home is completely remodeled and very comfortably furnished. It is still stocked with all of the basics and more (paper products, spices, condiments, coffee, etc.) to make for a great stay. Also, it is great that the second bedroom has two twin beds to accommodate our two adult children. The home is centrally located to everything and 34th street beach is really nice and less crowded than the main beaches by the piers. Yet, it is still conveniently located to all the nearby attractions and activities. When time permits, we would love to return! We had a perfect vacation for our family of four adults.

Perfect for 4 people, fully equipped so you can travel light!

I’ve rented in NB for 12 summers, always 3-4 of us... and this space was the best so far. Quiet, fully equipped, tastefully decorated! We cook every day and I usually bring extra cookware, knives, bakeware...no need to if we book The Fock next summer! Unlike many rentals in NB I felt the owners wanted you to know they appreciate your presence/business. I highly recommend, especially for a family! Close to local store too!

Home away from home

While we only stayed a week, we made memories for a life time.

First of all, the photographs do not do this vrbo justice. The place is absolutely stunning. The Dock is located in an amazingly quiet, private part of Newport Beach. We found it incredibly relaxing as there was very little foot traffic around the VRBO but was still a stones throw away from the beach, grocery store, gas station, shopping centers, cafes, etc. And it had every comfort we could want. It served us as one of the many delightful highlights of our trip that helped backdrop our lasting memory of where my fiance' and I became engaged. So, we will definitely be returning to The Dock and always be looking forward to it. Thanks for everything, Holly! You were amazing!

Kind host. Cozy, comfortable & great location

The property was perfect for our family of four. Host provided beach chairs, towels, and was reponsive throughout the process to any questions. Sad we had to leave, but hope to be able to return! Thanks Holly!

Fun girls weekend

Great place near the beach. Walking distance to grocery store, bars, and restaurants. Lots to do in the neighborhood, but also a great place to just hang out on the patio. My friends and I had a great time. Having one parking spot for the guests to use is a great bonus!

*The Dock is a year round weekly rental. Standard rate is $1095 per week plus tax and cleaning. Rates for Holidays, Spring Break and Summer plus shorter stays vary. Please note there are no taxes on stays over 30 days.

*All cancellations are subject to $150.00 fee plus 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date and 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.

*Refundable deposit will be returned within one week of departure
