Chalet Lakeside: Κοντά στα αξιοθέατα των Λευκών Ορέων

Αυτό το πανέμορφο σαλέ που έχουμε ονομάσει 'Loon's Landing' βρίσκεται απέναντι από μια δημόσια παραλία σε μια λίμνη στο χωριό Eidelweiss, μια κοινότητα διακοπών στο Madison, NH στην είσοδο του Mt. Washington Valley. Μπορείτε να καθίσετε στο κατάστρωμα και να καλέσετε τους ανθρώπους στην παραλία! Ο επάνω όροφος διαθέτει σαλόνι με φούρνο αερίου, μεγάλη τραπεζαρία, κουζίνα, μπάνιο και κύριο υπνοδωμάτιο με κρεβάτι queen size. Family ski/board trip

Great location near several mountains. Got in a couple of good days with fresh powder at Attitash 30 minutes from the chalet. Kids got to skate on the pond and play some hockey. Chalet was comfortable and clean. Kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook family meals. Comfy beds and soft blankets. Host provided a very detailed welcome packet that explained everything we needed to know. Easy check in and out. We really enjoyed this getaway and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view

Perfect place if you're looking to stay somewhere quiet and peaceful with amazing views of mountains and lakes but also close enough to shopping and dining areas. This was my second time renting this house and just like my first stay a fews years back, the owner makes the check in and check out process so smooth and easy and the house is very clean and welcoming.

Our stay at at the chalet was very good. Kevin was great to work with. He was attentive and quick to respond to any questions. The chalet is in a nice community, well located for exploring the area , the home was clean and well maintained.

Weekend Getaway after a long busy summer

Came to NH to decompress after a long busy summer and chose this weekend to avoid the long weekend lead peepers. We did some leaf peeping & some hiking & exploring. Had a nice campfire Saturday night under the stars looking at the pond. The weekend and the property were delightful Definitely recommended if you’re looking for something just far enough from the craziness of North Conway but close enough to experience North Conway

Beautiful location

The house was very basic yet had everything we needed. The wood stove cast a nice ambiance. The lake view across the street was beautiful and access to kayaks and canoe was an added bonus. Being able to bring our dog was very nice too. One bathroom wasn’t ideal but again manageable. When we needed to contact Kevin when we got locked out of the house, he responded immediately to get us back in which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend the first word of advice in the house manual to be that the door downstairs is very easy to lock yourself out! Overall a wonderful stay. Thank you Kevin.

Perfect location

This is our second stay at this location. We had a great time and the weather especially good this year. It is a great chalet on a pond with kayaks and canoe available. The water is a little too cold on Memorial Day weekend for swimming although children were bravely wading in without any trouble. It's about 10 minutes to North Conway so if you need entertainment or feel like shopping that's always available too. Highly recommended. Kevin is an excellent host!

We (8 adults + 3 children) spent a weekend at the house in late March, 2003. Dealings with the owner were excellent, very timely and professional. Epic Ski Weekend

The Lakeside Chalet provided for excellent ski weekend. Spent three days hunkered down during a winter storm with three friends. Very close to multiple ski mountains and restaurants in North Conway. Bedrooms were clean and spacious. Living room and kitchen were great for post-ski relaxing. Large kitchen table was a perfect for a dinner and a round of cards. Internet was high speed and cable was great for watching playoff football. Couldn't have been better!

Lovely location, view and value

We enjoyed our stay. It is a wonderful location across the street from a clean and lovely pond. It was quiet and peaceful too. I have asthma and allergies so I couldn’t sleep on the bottom floor. I slept on the couch. My uncle has a bad knee and hip so he needed to sleep in the one bedroom on the main floor where the living room, kitchen and one bathroom are located. If you don’t have serious allergies and asthma you will be fine. We would love to come again though. The price per night was very reasonable and the hosts were wonderful.

Best getaway ever!!!

Every year, my family and I go to New Hampshire to take our children to Storyland & Santas village. We have always wanted to stay on a lake, but could never find a place suited to us and my parents and our pups. This was by far my favorite location, neighborhood, and owner I have ever rented from. Their home feels like the Lakehouse I would have if I could, and put us at ease immediately. It was a happy place for my husband, and I, my parents, our daughters, and two dogs. We canoed, kayaked, had a fire, made s’mores, played on the playground, went hiking and relaxed on the front porch. We saw a mama bear and 3 baby bears, loons and ducks and swam daily, rain or shine. We’re jumped off the dock, played on the beach and made the best memories ever as a family. Then when we left our daughter’s prized stuffy that has been in our family since I was a baby behind, they even hunted it down and mailed it back to us. I never want to stay anywhere else.

Love the Chalet

This is such a "homey" lovely place. The lake is perfect right outside the front door, and the playground next to it is fantastic. We loved it so much we are renting again this Summer. There is so much to do and there are so many things nearby to do. Our favorite is taking the kids kayaking. The Chalet is very clean and welcoming. The wood stove is great, the big screen TV is wonderful and they have a great movie collection. I would definitely recommend renting the Chalet to anyone I know. It’s absolutely beautiful at night. Having a nice glass of wine and sitting on the porch looking at the stars is also another favorite of ours. The Chalet really has everything you need- even board games! The list goes on about the all the great things with this rental. You will not be disappointed. If you are missing anything there is a Walmart and a Hannaford near by. The local restaurants nearby are fantastic. Very family friendly. It’s the perfect place to really enjoy some family time with the kids.

"Idyllic"

This lakeside cottage had a view of the nearby mountain that took our breath away. Watching the fall color appear on the trees was stunning! Everything we needed for our comfort in the cottage was provided. Comfortable beds, kitchen ware, especially the teapot, the large table for serving meals to our grandchildren, and the cozy living room furniture for gathering together in the evening was just perfect! Then there was more to delight us outside! We used the porch and the fire pit several times as the weather was perfect for it. The children enjoyed the play ground near by and we all used the kayaks with much delight! We did mange to tear ourselves away from all the delights at the cottage to enjoy the beautiful sights nearby: "The Kanc" Highway, Mt.Washington, Conway, and even some of the small towns around Lake Winnepesaukee. We are so fortunate that the Ackerts are willing to share this gem with others! It doesn't get much better than this!

Great Place

Perfect place for a family vacation. Home is clean comfortable, and the host is just a phone call away if there are any issue. We are going back next year.

Convenient Lakeside Chalet

My family stayed at the chalet for a long weekend as our home base while we explored the area, visiting Santa’s Village and Story Land. The location was great, especially for our kids who loved having use of the lake and playground. The house was spacious enough for my family to spread out and had everything we could need for our stay. My only suggestion for improvement is to eventually replace the couch as it seems the seat cushions or springs have lost support over time, causing one to sink into the couch when sitting down, but otherwise our stay was comfortable.
