Lovely spot and hosts
We found the cabin to be exactly as described and had a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay. Cheryl was wonderful. We so enjoyed the kittens that it was hard coming home without stealing one!
Its clean and close to Waterton Lakes National Park - it has to be a five !
This place met our needs at a reasonable price. It is 20 km to heaven on earth.
The kitchen was well appointed.
It was clean.
I would stay there again.
A three bed room description is a bit of a stretch....
I will think fondly of our trip to Waterton NP.
Overall it was a great value.
absolutely smitten with the view!
My family sure enjoyed their stay at your place. It was close to our family reunion in Waterton and had everything they needed - 2 bathrooms, comfy beds, cute little kitchen with lots of dishes - but that view! As city/town dwellers, they couldn't get over how beautiful the view was. Thanks again!
Not the oasis we thought
Over all it was ok. It is only 15-20 min drive into Watertown lakes which was great. The lake behind was really a large dug out pond with algae growing. Can't imagine paddle boarding and falling in. Lots of ceiling fans which we used to help cool things down, but it was uncomfortably warm. With the windows open all day and night there was no escaping the highway noise which was 50 feet away. There was a 1/4 inch of dust under ther beds. Living room was spasious, and bathrooms were clean. Washer and dryer came in handy.
Thanks for your candid remarks Stephanie. You were excellent guests and cleaned up so very well. We definitely have had an unusual heat wave in this area. We have not had a problem at all in the past keeping our little place cool but this last couple of days has been hot for sure. Our lake is actually not a dug out at all but a underground spring lake and the boats we rent for the lake are paddle boats, not paddle boards. Our grandkids have the best time of their lives paddle boating on there. It is so fun for them. It is a bit weedy though and you are right I would not want to swim in it lol. We also offer the boats - paddle boards, canoes etc up at Payne Lake which is a huge Fisherman's lake and such a fun lake to paddle board and swim in. The dust under the beds? I have such a great cleaning gal. I will bring that to her attention though. Thanks
