Not what we paid for
The overall experience was quite stressful and somehow disappointing. I booked this property for my birthday weekend, with my friends as we needed a place that sleeps 10 people. However a few days before the trip, the host informed me that we’ll be relocated to another property which sleeps only 9, due to some refurbishments done at the property I booked. The host didn’t offer a solution for the 10th person (suggesting WE should buy a blow up mattress). When I asked for a discount, it was refused.
The self check in was easy and smooth. Host gave good information about the parking.
The checkout at 10am on the other hand, was very stressful as there was only one bathroom for 10 people… When I messaged the host (who was quick in replying) hoping we can delay our check out time a bit, he said we must be out by 10 because cleaners were coming at 10 and if they find us there we will be charged. We of course rushed out and waited in front of the house for 45 min -1hr for a friend to arrive from another city and funny thing- no cleaners arrived within this hour!
I would say overall not great customer service and a stressful birthday weekend for me.
