The studio apartment is located on the first floor above the reception area on the ground floor and overlooks swimming pool which is fed by a waterfall. The apartment comprises one large living area with a bed, 2 chair with a coffee table. Work area with an office chair and desk lamp. bathroom with a shower and a fully fitted European kitchen. The balcony has a table with 4 chairs and an umbrella.

Peaceful location, lovely for wildlife.

Very well equipped apartment, lovely quiet pool, fantastic friendly host with superb communication, wonderful to see the monkeys around and so close up.The only SLIGHT negative was the distance to the main areas of Worthing/Hastings. A hire car is highly recommended.

Perfect vacation home away from home

The apartment is everything you need when away from home. It's clean, comfy well kept and close to many places to eat, the beach, banks, stores and yet located in a quiet area away from the noisy bars and entertainment. Dawn the host has all the things you'll need to start your trip, which was a big help until you can get to the store. She was prompt in her responses and ready to help if needed. I'll greatly recommend if you're looking for a great, relaxing vacation. The pool was cleaned each morning and the property well maintained. It's best if you have a car but don't hesitate to book your stay with Dawn.

Paradise found in Rockley Beach Studio!

As this was our 2nd trip to Barbados in two months (Oct, now Dec) so we wanted to be in Rockley Beach. It is the hub of restaurants, gift stores, grocery stores and the most amazing stretch of beaches in Barbados without paying the high cost of the Gap. Our little studio property was in a condo community with a pool in a secluded piece of lush greenspace. We had families of monkeys visit us, chickens and chicks and little birds as well as bats. The area is safe and secure, and we found the listing to be 100% what we wanted. The studio was clean and fresh and nicely decorated. The bed linens were soft, the pillows plump and the tv and wifi worked very well. There were two towels on each bed, for the shower & the beach. There were hand towels and face clothes in the cupboard as well as hand soap and bath soap in the bathroom, along with lots of extra toilet tissue. There is a switch to turn on the hot water heater, that takes 10 min. The shower is tiled with a glass door and it is nice and roomy. The water pressure is OK for Barbados (not quite as high as at home). There are drawers in the bathroom cabinet for storage of all of your toiletries and space under the sink that has a hair dryer and a well stocked first aid kit & sunscreen. There is lots of storage in the built in cupboard with many hangers. This small space feels spacious because of the great layout and attention to organization. There is a built in desk to sit if you need to do a little work. There is also two lamps, one for the desk and one bedside so there is great light to read by. The kitchen is the real star of the property. There is a great stone countertop to sit and eat at. The kitchen is spacious enough for two people to work in, and there are lots of utensils, scissors, pots and pans as well as plates and glasses and even some storage containers. A juice pitcher would be a great addition for cold water. There is a full size fridge on the top and a large freezer on the bottom, a new washer/dryer and a dishwasher and microwave. Directions for use of the washer/dryer would be handy, as it was hard to figure out. The French doors and patio is the perfect spot to eat at or relax on. There are loungers at the pool to enjoy sunbathing, and ask for the bathroom key at ground level. Dawn the Property Mgr is AMAZING! Con: walk down the road to the beach took us 20 minutes. We walked down, cabbed up. I wish I had worn better shoes.

Wonderful experience

Dawn Smith was a wonderful host. If I needed help, she was a phone call away. The apartment was very clean. I really enjoyed myself. Thank you Dawn for everything. I can't wait to come back next year
