Villa Orange Diktamos is a one double bedroom maisonette, which can accommodates up to 4 people. The bedroom is located on the ground floor and has 2 walls of natural rock under the soil.



Guests over 2 can sleep in the double sofa-bed in the living room.



The villa is fully equipped with all comforts of the modern way of living, which we have quietly incorporated, in order to ensure a totally comfortable and relaxing stay and the traditional atmosphere and style of the property.



At the moment it comprises a fenced courtyard at the ground floor, but soon also a roof top garden with village, mountain, valley and sea view. The house was built in 1913 and the ground floor in the past was used as a stable, while the 1st floor was a former weave room and elementary school.



A heated (when required) communal swimming pool, fitness room, steam-bath room, barbecue, bicycles, CD -DVD player and book library, are only few, of the shared, free to use, facilities of the property. An organic and local products mini market is also available.



The traditional settlement of Samonas is a complete neighbourhood located in the village of Samonas, in the district of Apokoronas, at an altitude of 400 m and at a distance of 25 km from Chania. The village still preserves its picturesque character since it is really very small and has very few inhabitants.



The settlement is built on a hill slope and it has such an orientation that it offers an impressive view from all dwellings. Looking over from the settlement's location, we get the impression that we could touch the Lefka Ori, or dive into the vast Cretan sea. All of these dwellings are two-storey (maisonettes) with unlimited view to the mountain and the sea. They are exclusively built in stone and wood to match their surroundings. Each is built at a different level due to the ground's steep slope, with common courtyards as well as independent verandas or balconies and quiet corners.



All dwellings are decorated with many small folksy objects, antiques and hand carved pieces of furniture. All incorporate the same comforts and luxury, although they differ in size and layout.



During night hours, thousands of stars will magnetise your eyes. Musical sounds, vivid colours, captivating scents, pure flavours and the close touch with nature will awaken all your senses and their remembrance will remain unforgettable.
