Internally presented to an impeccable standard with great attention to detail this 2 bedroom property is a real credit to the owner who undertook the refurbishment.

Along with the quality workmanship throughout it is tastefully presented with a contemporary yet homely feel.

The property is situated just a 5 minute walk from York city centre. It has the added benefit of having off street parking for one car in the driveway area to the front.

The downstairs area features an open plan lounge and dining area with wood flooring and a Smart TV. The dining table can seat 4 for dinner. There is a modern kitchen towards the back of the property that features high end appliances and is well equipped for any length of stay.

To the rear of the property there is a private decked patio, perfect for enjoying a summer's evening.

Upstairs in the property you can find the bathroom featuring a shower over the bath along with the 2 bedrooms. There's one double room and the other room can be set as a super kingsize bed or twin beds upon request.

An all round good stay

We had a really lovely stay here, so close to the centre, just 10 min walk. The parking space which is very handy indeed, particularly for a small car as it is tight to get in and out. Very comfortable with everything needed for our stay. It is fresh and very well kept, beds are comfy, kitchen has it all. It is a quiet enough area, taking in to consideration it is in the heart of the city. It would be nice to have some recycling facility at the property, or information on how to do so. Would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here and thanks to all at Stays York, your kindness, friendlyness, the ease of booking and your readyness to be helpful is very much appreciated.

A lovely city based property

Great location and very handy that there was parking. The house was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was really well equipped. Had the weather been a little warmer we would also have enjoyed the terrace out the back!

Ideal York City Centre Base

The property is in an ideal, quiet location and within walking distance to access city centre sights. Well designed with a small outdoor area, it is suitably furnished and equipped for up to 4 adults. Modern, clean and uncluttered in a clever design.

A lovely break in in York

92 Union Terrace was well maintained and nicely furnished with very comfortable beds, great linen and lovely fluffy towels. The kitchen had all everything we needed (bar a sieve / colander). The welcome pack with Yorkshire products was very welcome. It was great for a family of 4 and under a mile from the city walls, so easy to walk in and out. There was a very helpful information folder with everything we needed, We were slightly unprepared for there only being 2 dishwasher tablets for a 4 night stay and 2 toilet rolls - one of each per night stayed would be a kindness! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage and Stays York

Review

The property lacked natural daylight downstairs which made it rather dark even on a bright day, some lighting was alwasy required which made it rather gloomy. The main bed was in fact two beds put together which wasn;t the most comfratable. Finally, and this is the thing that gives it a 'very poor' as although it was execent in terms of location to York city its siting next to a social club to it's side and rear was dreadaful. With live music every Wedesday, Friday and Sunday from 9pm to 11pm, meant us early too bed people, could not get an early night's sleep - you really need to try being there during one of these days. Two previous great accomodation stays with yoiu, but alas this one wasn't quite what we were expecting.

Ladies That Holiday

Lovely property in great location with off road parking. Modern and clean with everything we needed. The little courtyard was also great for alfresco breakfasts on sunny mornings.

92 Union Terrace is an excellent choice for a small family visiting York. The check in was very simple and tge house was spotlessly clean and was furnished to a high standard. The beds are very comfortable and despite being in the city ut us very quiet at night. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of storage for groceries which us often not the case in holiday accommodation. The welcome tray was a nice gesture. Thanks.
