The location is phenomenal for skiing and going out. Everything needed was in the apartment.Consider that the space is very little and there is one toilet

An excellent location for the slopes, supermarkets and restaurants. Clean bedding and adequately clean flat. Difficulty with lockers for first 48 hours but host sorted. Drains in building old and can cause eggy smells.

Awesome little apartment in the heart of Val thorens.

Despite language barriers, Oliver (our host) went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was stress-free. You get exactly what you pay for, and have easy access to all the amenities you could need on Val thorens. The apartment is well-stocked, but there are plenty of restaurants within the area. We will definitely be back :)

Val Thorens ski trip

Das Ski-Gebiet war sehr gut. Das Appartement gut gelegen. Und die Leute waren nett. Nur war das Appartement bei der Ankunft teilweise dreckig und Klamotten von den Vorbewohnenden noch unterm Schrank. Die Stimmung war trotz allem Hervorragend.

Appartement ok mais résidence type colonie de vacances

L’appartement est correct et conforme aux photos. Nous avons juste été surpris par l’état général de l’immeuble : beaucoup d’appartements sont gérés par un tour operator et il semble que la clientèle soit étudiante qui vient pour skier et faire la fête. L’immeuble n’est pas très bien entretenu et il y a beaucoup de bruits (musique, hurlements…) en plus de déchets un peu partout. Si vous êtes un groupe de jeunes qui veut faire la fête le soir c’est bien, sinon cherchez ailleurs (et en dehors de la rue de Caron - urine et vomi un peu partout, mais retour skis aux pieds).

Location! Location! Location!

Exceptionally well located property, which made our stay, with youths, really easy and enjoyable. The pro: In the heart of the ski resort- Rue de Caron with everything you need from ski rentals to bakery and supermarket less than 20 feet away Ski in ski out Restaurants, crêpes, gaufres at bottom of building Parking lot across the street from locker area Appartement comfortable enough for a family of 4/5, large bunkbeds room, great wifi, easy check in and out Great communication with owner Apartment very calm despite having bedroom window opened at night, a bowling alley at the end if the street and a large group of youths from Ireland partying all night. The insonorisation of the building is well done because we did not hear anything. Apartment equipped as mentioned in vrbo website (2 bathrooms, dishwasher, small fridge, coffee maker, etc) no washer and dryer neither in apartment nor onsite (vrbo mentions they are available) Cons Double room does not have a window and getting air circulated was a challenge in the room - we ended up all staying in the bunkbeds room as the window could open, which worked well for us. Kitchen area is small and shared with coats/shoes area so it can get crowded. Ski locker does not have shelves for ski boots so those have to be taken to the apartment Overall we had a lovely stay and the apartment was a good size for our family. It would have been difficult to accommodate a larger group for 7 days as the main area is small. We had friends over for dinner one night and accommodating 7 people was tight. It was our first visit to Val Thorens. The resort is beautiful and our stay was definitely a success.

Appartement correct mais ménage à faire..

À notre arrivée, l’appartement n’était pas propre du tout, nous avons dû faire le ménage partout, au vu du prix de la location, c’est inadmissible... la résidence est vraiment dans un triste état... sinon l’appartement est bien, fonctionnelle mais attention l’une des chambres est borgne... il est bien situé, juste à côté des pistes!

Un bel appartement mais des voisins bruyants

Appartement conforme à la description et aux photos: très bien situé aux Olympiades en plein coeur de la station et parfait pour nous: 2 adultes et 3 enfants (et il restait encore un canapé lit). Le propriétaire - Mr Javaux - est très réactif et a répondu à nos mails très rapidement en nous donnant plusieurs conseils et adresses. Seul « bémol » : l’immeuble semble détenu en grande partie par des tour operators - et pendant notre séjour nous avons dû faire face à plusieurs centaines d’étudiants danois - rendant l’ambiance dans l’immeuble à partir de 17h30 (et le retour de la Folie Douce...) particulièrement bruyante. L’immeuble dispose certes de son propre service de sécurité...et ils ont eu du travail pendant notre séjour!

Charming ski apartment, right on the slopes

In summary - what an amazing location and service. The host Olivier is very friendly and responds to messages very quickly! We stayed in the apartment early December (just before the season really started) so perhaps we avoided the crowds, but this apartment is perfect for a group of friends / a family. We were a group of 5 - the apartment can hold 6 with ease, and 8 if you use the sofa bed as well. The apartment has a charming living room and kitchen, and there are ski lockers included in the price in the basement. The ski rental place is directly below the apartment, and the lifts are a 1 minute walk and short ski away. All in all, especially for the price, a fantastic apartment to enjoy your time skiing in Val Thorens!

très bon séjour

apparemment très beau et fonctionnelle et surtout très bien situé au pieds des pistes. après une bonne journée de ski la piscine et spa sont juste la porte juste en face de l'immeuble
