Walk through turquoise gates and you have arrived at the Blue Agave Bungalow, to enjoy private moments completely enclosed behind adobe walls. Have your breakfast and coffee while sitting on the front patio to take in the mountain air. You are enveloped by a landscape of pecan trees, yucca, ocotillo and an amazing blue agave. This most inviting 2 bedroom home features 2 baths – one with a romantic claw foot tub and the other with double walk-in shower. Along with the full kitchen, dining area and backyard patio with grill, you may find it hard to leave this amazing home that is a destination in itself.
The Blue Agave Bungalow vacation home in Fort Davis, Texas has 1,300 square feet. The living room looks out onto a private walled courtyard. The dining area is large with pine floors and French doors that open to a second patio. The kitchen has new cabinetry with tile counter tops, a dishwasher and views to a courtyard. The entire property is enclosed by hay bale or stucco walls to provide security for animals, children and privacy for all. Pecan and cottonwood trees shade the yard.

No smoking allowed inside the Bungalow. Smoking allowed on porch only.

Another wonderful stay

Great place in Fort Davis

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Blue Agave - it was perfect home away from home while we enjoyed the MacDonald Observatory - dark skies and the Davis Mountains State Park. Everything you need there and in a great location.

Our second time at the Blue Agave. It shown some wear, but everything worked and we enjoyed our stay. Fort Davis doesn't have the tourist trade that it had the last time we were there. Many restaurants and the drug store were closed. Marfa had a good place to dine. We enjoyed.

We have stayed in this house 15 years ago. It has been kept clean and in good shape ever since. It is a great house and we have already booked it again in six months. Can’t wait to get back.

The home is a good size and the beds were relatively comfortable. It has an open feel to it with plenty of natural light. The basics were provided and overall it was a nice stay. There were a few roaches and the shower needed some significant maintenance/deep cleaning.

Clean, well located house

Wonderful quaint house near Fort Davis main street

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Agave Bungalow. It had all the amenities we sought including a complete kitchen, washer and dryer. We will book this accommodation again next time we come to the Fort Davis area.

Close to our favorite things

We have been to Ft. Davis many times and this was our first time to stay at this property. It was perfect for what we needed with easy access to the state park, the fort, and McDonald Observatory. The host was very communicative and helpful.

Beautiful Home

Very clean and updated home. Close proximity to town. The only drawback is there isn’t much left in Ft Davis. We traveled to Alpine to eat and shop.

Perfectly, conveniently located, private-feeling house for our family of 3. Well-stocked kitchen was great for making a meal or two a day, which is a good call with the somewhat limited dining options in town on Sundays / Mondays. Beds were comfy with plenty of bedding available. We loved having breakfast on the little patio out back and sitting on the front porch looking at the mountains. We arrived after a very busy weekend and a hard flip for the caretaker, so there was a small issue we requested help with. The owner was extremely responsive and the caretaker arrived within 15 minutes to fix the problem. Bring your own laundry detergent; sturdy machines were great to wash our hiking clothes. Grocery stores are walkable / drivable within 3 minutes. Buffalo Bentley's burger spot (the big green bus!) was probably our favorite meal in Fort Davis. We love the town and this was the perfect family headquarters to see it all over a long weekend!
