Barnsley House,Teignmouth, Devon sleeps 13 guests in five bedrooms.
Barnsley House is a grand Grade II listed Georgian house resting at the centre of Teignmouth, Devon. Hosting five bedrooms, two boasting en-suites and one with a Jack-and-Jill shower room, and a ground-floor family room, this property can sleep a total of 13 guests - 10 adults and 3 children. There is an additional shower room located on the ground-floor. The interior is complete with an impressive kitchen/dining room, a sitting room and a sun room. Outside there is a multi-level garden with a terrace and lawned area featuring a solar panelled heated outdoor swimming pool available from Mid May to September. Off-road parking is available for three cars. Barnsley House is a fantastic choice for any celebration in the South of Devon.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Ceramic hob and electric oven, combi-microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. TV and WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and bath towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for three cars. Enclosed garden with terrace, views over the large mature garden, a solar powered heated outdoor swimming pool. One well-behaved dog. No smoking. Shop 0.5 miles, pub 0.4 miles. Note: Internal steps on the ground floor, please take care. Note: Garden is split across multiple levels, please take care. Lower parts of the garden are not accessible and fenced off. Note: The swimming pool is solar-heated and is open from May 20-September 5

Enter the wide entrance hall through double doors to the ground floor where there is a large kitchen-dining room and a spacious main lounge; both of these rooms are south facing with access to the garden. There is also a ground floor bedroom with a double bed, a separate downstairs bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin. As you ascend the wide sweeping staircase look up to view a uniquely beautiful roof lantern.
On the first floor there are 4 main bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms and a large family bathroom. The first bedroom has a super king bed and a single bed, this room enjoys stunning views of the sea and Devon coastline. The second bedroom is the large sunny master bedroom with a four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom, including a freestanding bath and double shower, a double vanity basin and toilet. This room has a small sofa area and enjoys stunning sea and Teign estuary views. The third bedroom has a king sized bed with double aspect windows over looking trees at the front and side of the house with its own en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom is a family bedroom with a king sized zip-lock bed and bunk beds, with access to the family bathroom. There is a large landing space to access these first floor bedrooms and bathroom.
Head to the heart of the home and enjoy home cooked meals in our beautifully appointed kitchen-dining room. Sitting around the main kitchen island with its ceramic hob, enjoying time together whilst cooking, chatting and discussing plans for your holiday. The spacious outdoor patio and seating area is perfect for summertime alfresco lunch. Please mind the few small steps from the kitchen to outside. Alternatively serving up suppers at the large dining table couldn’t be easier in this bright sunny kitchen-dining room. The main lounge with its tall elegant ceilings and beautiful marble fireplace is furnished with 3 large sofas, a big coffee table for playing games, or simply relax while reading a book or flick on the TV.
