Sylvan Cottage is a large detached 4 bedroom house within close proximity of Teignmouth town and within a 10 minute walk of Teignmouth beach. The property has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The house has 4 unique double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, lounge area\diner and games room complete with pool table. The property would make a great stay for families or mature couples/groups. The house is situated within a 30 minute drive of Exeter, Torquay or Dartmoor.

Lovely!

A beautiful home! Spacious and with everything a family needs. The house is a wonderful size and in a quiet area but still close to the town and beach. The games room was well used by the children!

Teignmouth holiday home

Lovely clean property, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and bedrooms were great . Loved the themed rooms and the pool table . Plenty of bathrooms which was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this property

Lovely Family Break

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely property. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to town centre and beach. The decor is quirky and there is always something new to see in the art work/posters. The property is very clean, comfy and well equipped. We all loved the games room especially the pool table. The parking area is a little tight but we managed to park our VW Transporter in the space. Would definitely recommend!

Had the most amazing stay at this very unique property. The location is perfect, walking distance to town and beach. The decor was quirky and unique. Bedrooms are spacious. Kitchen and living areas great and well stocked. Highly recommended!

A great base for the south west path

This was a great house for four middle aged walking gents to stay. The house is immaculate and just as described. Four spacious double bedrooms two of which are en suite. The pool table was very good to have.

We grandparents and our daughters family stayed in the property with joy...Everything was very good and comfortable...We loved decorations of the house, we love film posters, status and the kitchen and utilities... We highly recommend it....

Gorgeous property

Amazing property, lovely size and location. Absolutely ideal for our party of 7 plus a dog. Kids (and adults) loved the games room. The decor is absolutely amazing. Could’ve done with a bit more info about shared drive, recycling, wifi, etc but didn’t affect the stay at all. Would definitely return

Good family time in Teignmouth

Good comms beforehand throughout. Property was in very good order and we enjoyed both the facilities and our time there. Quirky top order decoration. Sadly one of our party couldn’t come due to illness. We agreed we’ll come another time all together for sure.

Lovely house in a great location

The house was lovely. We visited with our sons and their partners (group of 8) and 2 dogs. It has beautiful decor and lots of interesting things to look at. The pool table makes a great addition and was enjoyed by all. It’s in a quiet spot at the top of the hill with a relatively easy walk into town. We didn’t use the cars at all the whole time we were there. The driveway is tight to drive into and is shared and only has room for one car although there is parking a little bit further down the road outside the house. The garden is at the front of the property- a paved courtyard, but be aware it’s not secure and the dogs escaped on the first morning! Communication with the host was good. All in all the house was great for a short break with lots to see and do in the area. Would recommend.

5 night stay with family

Lovely property in a convenient location for the town centre. Some lovely touches like the PlayStation, pool table etc and a well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay there again if in Teignmouth. Very quirky decor but it all works. Agree with other reviewer’s comments re parking, just one space and it’s very tight getting on and off the sloping drive through the gates. Watch out for the traffic wardens, managed to get a parking ticket on the first morning, even though not on the yelllow lines! Overall a fabulous experience

Nice place

A lovely stay, here. Good communication before and during visit on Vrbo app from host. Didn't realise we saw the owner many times outside the property, as was never made aparent to us that the chap working in the garages and using the shared drive was the person I had been communicating with for almost a year about our stay. I think most people would expect a 'hello I'm "x" the owner hope you enjoy your stay' or 'hi, I'm "x" who you've been speaking with on the app' or something along those lines. We found out on the last day when he dropped some bedding insisting he took it in to the property himself and took the video doorbell away and it was all a bit odd...Also, as stated, please be aware that there is a video doorbell which overlooks the patio. We covered it with a couple of skin plasters to try and have some privacy. Rooms are lovely with lots of interesting posters and decor. Loved the games room and the kitchen was well equiped. Beds, bedding and towels were all good. Games room and pool table were a great selling point and didn't disappoint. Driveway really only holds one car unless very small Smart or VW Up style cars which could then possibly fit two front to back. But there is on street parking on the road outside and we always found space despite the double yellows. Really lovely place though and would absolutely recommend.

6 of us stayed in this gorgeous quirky house and loved it. From 25yeqrs old to 85years old. Very comfortable and clean property.
