The Old Reading Room is a delightful cottage set in the popular village of Cotehill in the Eden Valley. Completely renovated and refurbished in 2021 it has been beautifully presented and is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the comforts of this lovely cottage. From the cottage there is easy road access to a variety of the north’s most spectacular scenery and places of interest. Enjoy a day exploring the Lake District National Park, the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and, of course, Hadrian’s Wall which is basically on your doorstep, or even a day trip to Scotland to discover the beautiful Scottish Borders.
The Old Reading Room is in the ideal location in the stunning Cumbrian countryside with something to offer all visitors, young and old, those seeking adventure, and those seeking peace and quiet, with its history, landscape of mountains and lakes and much, much more. Beach 29 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
