Wonderful place for your vacation!

We stayed in Casa Bianca for 4 days last week and we wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful views of Positano and a cosy apartment with 2 big bedrooms and a fantastic terrace. Well connected to Positano downtown by bus.Francesco and his wife were very friendly, helpful and very flexible with our check-in and check-out times. Thanks guys, we hope to be back soon for longer.

Very nice apartment! But, be ready for the stairs! To and from the street is about 150 steps. The view from the patio is beyond words. The taxi arranged was a great driver and offered many helpful suggestions. Very pleasant stay!

Clean, stunning balcony views

Francesca was very responsive and easy to work with. The location is close to a bus stop, market, a nice restaurant, and the stairs down to Positano are just down the street. Depending on when the bus comes (tends to not run on schedule), it takes about 20 min to get to downtown Positano, if you use the stairs it is about a 30 min walk. The house has everything you would need: washer and dryer, hair dryer, dishwasher, WiFi, microwave, espresso maker... We rented beach towels for 5 Euros each during our stay. The cleaning fee is 50 Euros.

A great holiday

We really enjoyed our stay here. We found the host Francesca, and quite frankly everyone in the neighbourhood, very friendly and accommodating. Francesca is courteous and her communication skills are fast and efficient. Positano has great restaurants, shopping, beaches, views and is close to numerous other sights like Sorrento, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Amalfi, and Ravello. Positano has stairs. However, complaining about stairs in Positano is like visiting the Sahara and complaining about sand. The accommodations are clean and well kept. We were able to rent towels for a reasonable price and safely park our vehicle for a reasonable price as well. There is conveniently located reasonably priced bus transport available as well. We loved it.

Vue superbe sur Positano

Appartement spacieux, très propre et bien équipé. Terrasse avec vue superbe sur Positano. Parking disponible sur place, supérette à 10 mns à pieds. L’accès du logement depuis le parking se fait par un escalier de plus de 120 marches (pas facile avec de grosses valises mais très bien pour les fessiers !!!). Impossible se se garer à Positano ou dans les villages avoisinnants. Arrêt de bus à quelques minutes.

Une maison à flanc de montagne, à l'écart du bruit et de l'agitation de Positano

L'appartement correspond bien à ce qui est présenté. Confortable, propre, avec une vue incomparable de jour et de nuit. Nous avons été très bien reçu par Francesca qui a même eu la gentillesse de nous aider à porter nos bagages pour descendre et monter les escaliers d'accès à la maison. L'arrêt du bus pour Positano se trouve juste au-dessus du logement. Il vaut mieux éviter les heures de pointe ! En raison de la configuration des lieux, l'endroit ne nous paraît pas adapté aux très jeunes enfants. Prévoir d'avoir le minimum de bagages. Petit détail, le matelas du grand lit n'est pas également horizontal sur toute sa surface.

Mooi, net en schoon huis.

We waren met 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen.Het is een 6 persoons huis maar er wordt voor 2 personen €15 extra gerekend per nacht voor n bedbank die er al staat.Terwijl er gezegd is dat er 2 bedden bijgezet zouden worden voor dat geld.Verder is het een prima huis.Een lieve gastvrouw die erg haar best doet om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.We waren er in mei en het was er best wel fris op die hoogte,dus n extra trui is aan te raden.Het uitzicht is prachtig.De bus stopt vlakbij en een winkel en restaurant is vlakbij in het dorp.We hebben er een fijne vakantie gehad.

Empfehlenswert

Gut ausgestattete Wohnung hoch über Positano mit sehr schönem Blick auf Ort und Meer von der Küche und der kleinen überdachten Terrasse aus. Parkplatz an der Straße oberhalb des Hauses (wichtig wegen der schwierigen Parksituation). Die Vermieterin und ihr Sohn waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben bei kleineren Problemen mit der Strom- und Wasserversorgung stets schnell geholfen. Bei unserem Aufenthalt Ende März / Anfang April war es notwendig, die Wohnung zu beheizen (10 € pro Tag). Wir können die Wohnung empfehlen.

Eine Woche hoch über Positano...

Eine Woche verbrachten wir zu dritt in der netten kleinen Wohnung in Montepertuso hoch über Positano. Die Wohnung ist ausreichend ausgestattet, sauber und nett eingerichtet. Vom Parkplatz an der Hauptstraße nach Montepertuso geht es viele Stufen hinab zum Haus. Falls sie mit dem Gedanken spielen, ein Auto zu mieten - nehmen sie ein kleines wendiges - der Verkehr an der Amalfiküste war schon im Frühling nicht zu unterschätzen und Parkplätze sind dort überall Mangelware... Der fussläufig entfernte Supermarkt in Montepertuso ist ausreichend bestückt und man bekommt alles Wichtige. Selbstversorgung funktionierte gut, da viele Restaurants im März leider noch geschlossen waren. Francesco hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und wir konnten uns sehr gut mit ihm auf Englisch verständigen. Alle aufkommenden Fragen sowie kleinere Probleme konnten jederzeit schnell und problemlos per WhatsApp geklärt werden. Nachteilig empfand ich Geräusche wie morgendliches Stühlerücken, welches aus der darüberliegenden Wohnung über die Zimmerdecke in die Schlafzimmer übertragen wurde - dies ist wohl ein bautechnisches (fehlende Schallentkopplung) Problem. Dennoch kann ich diese Appartment weiterempfehlen. Eine Empfehlung zum Schluss: Wandern sie den "Sentiero degli Dei", den man vom Haus aus problemlos über Nocelle bis nach Bomerano und zurück laufen kann (mit entsprechender Ausrüstung und Konstitution versteht sich). Schönen Aufenthalt über Positano...

perfect location

We (family of 4) stayed one week in this lovely house and enjoyed every minute of it. Besides the location, the stunning view and the complete interior of the house, the best thing is that you have your private parking space. It's a spot we recommend to everyone.

Great views and ideally located for visiting sights

We enjoyed our stay here, the flat had everything we needed. Quiet location but easy to get to Positano for shops, restaurants. We walked down the steps which took about 30 mins to the beach and used the buses to get back which were cheap and easy to use. The property itself is reached by a lot of steps from the road. It has a little balcony with room to eat outside with amazing views. We visited Capri, Sorrento and Pompei. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommended this property.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the views were stunning!!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Casa Bianca and had an absolutely fantastic time! The house is exactly as pictured, and the views are even more stunning than you can imagine. We had rented a car for the trip, so having a parking space at the property was a huge bonus! The house is very comfortable, spacious and clean. Francesca and her mother were wonderful and extremely helpful. Although the house is high up above the town, it is conveniently located right next to the bus stop that will take you down to the center of Positano. Getting the hang of the bus schedule is another story, as it is a bit unpredictable. Would highly recommend staying here!

Stunning view

Highly recommend this property if you wanna be close to Positano and at the same time enjoy privacy on the terrace with the most beautiful view you can ever imagined. This place was more than we could have ever expected. The property was clean, there is kitchen equipped with dishwasher, washing mashine, oven, fridge, toaster, coffe mashine. Everything you need to have a dinner and breakfest at home. Actually in reality rooms and the place seems wider than in pictures. Francesco and his family is very helpfull, really warm and welcoming. Thank You. The location is really accesable by local bus, within walking distance 5 minutes near is a grocery store, information center and restaurants, and the bus stop is on the roud by the entrance to the property. So you can easily reach the next bus stop to take any local bus to go to see Sorrento, Amalfi etc, go hiking. If you not affraid of lotta stairs you can walk downstairs right to Positano center. So there is no better place to wish for!

Wohnung mit tollem Meerblick

Wir (2 Erwachsene) verbrachten 7 Tage in der Wohnung mit spektakulärem Blick auf Positano und das Meer. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, sauber und schön dekoriert. Auch in der Küche sind alle notwendigen Gerätschaften vorhanden, so dass man auch zuhause Kochen kann. Das einzige was uns gefehlt hat, waren Strandtücher, diese mussten wieder leider in Positano kaufen. Die Wohnung ist über viele Stufen (über 100) zu erreichen, aber dies ist typisch für die Gegend und man gewöhnt sich daran. Super ist, dass die Wohnung einen eigenen Parkplatz hat, wo man problemlos parken kann (genügend Platz). Vor Ort haben wir das Auto nie gebraucht, da direkt vor der Wohnung eine Bushaltestelle ist und von dort kann man mit dem Bus nach Positano fahren. Generell muss man sagen, dass die Straße zur Wohnung sehr eng ist, aber wenn man vorsichtig fährt, ist es kein Problem. Der Supermarkt in Montepertuso ist ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und dort kann man alle notwendigen Lebensmittel einkaufen. Die Buchungs- und Zahlungsabwicklung mit Francesco war problemlos und vor Ort wurden wir von seiner Mutter in Empfang genommen. Sie hat uns alles gezeigt und uns bei Ankunft Getränke und Kaffee angeboten. Fracesco und seine Mutter stehen für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Wir würden wieder in diesem Appartment übernachten und können es weiterempfehlen.

Conveniently located with astonishing view on Positano

Just 20 minutes of bus ride to the busy small streets of Positano, this apartment is an oasis of peace. One of the few apartments you may find with a parking for your car which allow you to rent a car and drive along the magnificent Amalfi Coast. The apartment is furnished with all you need in case you are willing to use is as self catering. A mini market is located just 150 m from the bus stop along a safe road close to traffic. We were blessed with good weather during our stay, nevertheless the apartment features an heater and air-con system which allows you to set your ideal temperature. A great choice, we will surely come back if we have the opportunity to visit again the Amalfi Coast.

Magnifico!

Casa Bianca is a wonderful place to stay in Positano! Fresh & clean... up on the mountainside, the view over Positano, Capri, and the sea is bella!! The apartment was pristine clean and very well equipped with washer, clothes line drying, dishwasher, nice refrigerator, all necessary dishes, hot and good pressure water in the shower...all very clean and orderly. The best view over Positano from all windows and lovely porch to dine on. Francesco and his family are very accommodating and kind. He checked in several times to make sure all was well due to my food allergies and the language barrier. His parents live near and are delightful. There are some stairs down to the apartment (it is mountainside) but you get use to them and they are very helpful with the luggage. I also recommend their taxi to and from your arrival as the roads are very curvy, very tight, one way in places, cars parked along the side...it is a pleasant ride with anyone from Francesco and family's taxi. The bus and grocery are near by and the people are very helpful. A beautiful and lovely apartment and family!! I heard others complaining of their accommodations; you will have no complaints with Casa Bianca!

Beautiful views!!

Casa Bianca was much more than we could have ever asked for and exceeded our overall expectations. Not only does it offer stunning views of Positano but it is easily accessible by bus and by walking paths (if you like stairs!) It is also central to all of your amenities; there is a supermarket and restaurant 5 minutes walking distance from the house in the small hamlet of Montepertuso, Positano is a 20 minute walk downhill and if you hike 30 min uphill to Nocelle, another small village, you will reach the Sentieri degli dei or the " Path of the Gods" a beautiful hiking trail that goes to Bomerano or Praiano. The house itself was a perfect size, the kitchen was nice and included fridge, stove,oven,dishwasher, clothing washing machine, microwave etc. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from the bustle of touristy Positano as well! It is super peaceful up in the mountains. Overall great experience at Casa Bianca and I can't stress enough the gorgeous views!
