Casa Ginepro is a cozy and welcoming independent house located in the center of Positano. It sleeps three people. It is approximately 60 square meters (645 square feet). It features a private terrace, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in the center of Positano, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus Positano - Praiano line a few meters (feet) away and the closest beach (Spiaggia Grande di Positano) at roughly 600 meters (660 yards).
You will reach Casa Ginepro from the street level going up a short route that includes approximately 160 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Ginepro. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, for a fee, in a public parking lot (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved) or in a private parking lot (where a space can be reserved). Terrace
The terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a retractable awning. It is equipped with a table, chairs, a deck chair and a sun lounger. From the terrace you will enjoy a charming view of the valley.
Please kindly note. The rental price includes: Wi-Fi Internet connection; linens and towels; electricity.Available upon request: baby bed. To be paid at the property:final cleaning EUR 80.00.Available for a fee, if desired:check-in after 8 pm EUR 30.00. Refundable security deposit paid cash upon arrival: EUR 150 (it is returned to you at check-out).
Living Room
The living room is paved with lucid sky-blue majolica tiles. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, and include a sofa and a divan bed for one guest. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the through a corridor. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the alleyway at the rear of the house.
Bedroom
You will be able to enter the bedroom living room through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window.
Bathroom
The bathroom is tiled with lucid white and blue majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the through a corridor.

Can’t beat this location in Positano. Also good value for staying in this area. The unit could have been a bit cleaner overall.

Great location!

We spent five nights at Casa Ginepro. We enjoyed the beautiful view and the property's location. Communication with the property managers was very easy and clear. We had a private driver from the Naples airport that was excellent and recommended by the property manager. There are lots of steps, but then you don't feel guilty for indulging in all the delicious food and drinks! It would have been nice to have a Kuerig style coffee maker and some more bath towels. We used the tea kettle every day! There were not any kitchen towels or paper towels, but this may be typical in Italy as it was our first visit and not sure what to expect. Our Positano trip as a whole was fantastic!!

Great value for money

Great value for money - it's in a great spot you can walk to the beach instead of waiting for the bus every time you walk down. The view was great but be aware it's great because there are approximately 160 steps from the street level to your apartment. It's worth the view though! Will def stay there again when I return to Positano. Summer In Italy were great!!! Easy to deal with and very helpful

My parents and I absolutely loved it. It was spacious, clean, in the perfect area and the climb up was the perfect exercise - even for my senior parents! It provided everything we needed and Summer In Italy also assisted us in organizing private shuttle from Napoli! I would highly recommend and the price was worth it!

Great communication with the property manager!

After staying in hotels while we were traveling, staying in an apartment was a nice change. It was great being able to do laundry! It was however missing a few essentials like soap & a coffee maker, it did have a kettle & espresso press though. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Read carefully that you will need to climb a good amount of steps to get there!

Easy access to all Positano. Lovely apartment.

We had family come in for this stay and I put a few at different apartments. My sister got this one and loved it. She was nervous in advance about the stairs, but when she got there was relieved to know it was only 138 and very doable. And we had porters deliver the luggage from the ferry; so it was no problem. Really lovely space!

Perfect spot. Close to everything! The terrace was a great spot in the nice weather. Beautiful view. Patrizia was so lovely and explained everything we needed to know. If you're traveling from Naples I would suggest the ferry Vs taking a bus and train. A little more expensive but so worth it.

Lovely, clean apartment with a gorgeous view from the balcony. Check-in was so simple and great communication from the hosts. There’s a lot of steps up to the apartment itself but that’s to be expected in Positano so we didn’t mind. The location was also very central. We loved every part of our stay.

The view was absolutely amazing! We loved staying there and would return again! Our only regrets would be to have used the luggage porter service because it was a long hike up to the apartment. Other than that, the place was dreamy!

We really enjoyed our stay at Luca’s place

We really enjoyed our stay at Luca’s place. It was located in the center of Positano. It was very roomy for 3 adults, and the views were amazing! The terrace was incredible and also a life saver as unfortunately it rained our whole time in Positano. Having that huge covered terrace to sit on and drink wine and enjoy food while watching the storm was a lifesaver. There are a number of steps to get to the apartment but for Positano, it’s really nothing at all. You don’t get those views without a little work. We were super disappointed that because of the rain, our trip to Capri and our beach day were cancelled but luckily we had a spacious, clean apartment with phenomenal views to stay in. So happy I chose this place and would definitely recommend. Thanks, Luca! We really enjoyed our stay. Location was amazing, view was incredible and the terrace was a life saver in the pouring rain!

We had a great time at Casa Ginepro - good location, clean and tidy. The terrace was great. There are quite a few steps to get up to the property so we wouldn't bring such large suitcases next time. But this shouldn't put anyone off from staying - everywhere in Positano has steps! Great - good communication and easy to check-in/check-out.

Yes, we enjoyed it very much. Location is fantastic, very close to our shuttle pick-up and drop-off point, which is surprising. Have really nice view from the balcony and there aren't too many steps - compared with a lot of properties in the area. Price is reasonable for what the market is in Positano, everyone I've dealt with are very pleasant and friendly, easy to be contacted. Reservation voucher that was sent to my email was also useful.

Casa Ginepro is absolutely amazing; a beautiful, clean, and cozy apartment. Everything was beyond expectations. We loved everything there, but the terrace is especially to die for! Sitting on the terrace (especially in the evening with the glass of wine) and looking at the beautiful surrounding cliffs was like paradise. The apartment is located in a cute and quiet gated community. Getting up to the unit required walking up a lot of stairs, but there are a lot of beautiful trees and flowers along the way. Fantastic location, walking distance to beaches (7-10 min walk). We loved Casa Ginepro so much, it was the highlight of our stay in Positano. The next time we visit Positano we will definitely stay here again, highly recommend! Check-in was very easy with the check-in girl, Rossana. She was very nice and even helped us with our bags. Summer In Italy is the best site I have ever used for trip planning. Their service and professionalism is great, and they are very quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Their newsletters are also very helpful. Will definitely use the site again in planning my next trip to Italy, and I recommend it to all of my friends. Thank you so much Andrea, Anita, and of course Luca for your help in making our trip to Positano amazing!

The location was close to town

The location was close to town (you did have to walk up a lot of stairs but that's just all of Positano!) and very private. The apartment had everything we needed and was well kept. The balcony was great and had a wonderful view.
