This is a studio apartment located in Main Street in the heart of Kinsale. Newly Refurbished, tastefully decorated and furnished with all essential amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You can also view these beautiful apartments in more detail on YouTube by typing in The Post House Kinsale.
A highchair and cot are available on request.
You could not wish for a more central convenient location than this.

There are a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments located in Main Street which is in the heart of Kinsale.

You will have you own private apartment with access to an external communal courtyard. All apartments have brand new fully fitted kitchens and amenities although you may make little use of these as Kinsale is home to over 65 eateries and is known as the Gourmet Capital of Ireland!

All restaurants are within walking distance of the apartments and you will be spoiled for choice in terms of pubs and bars with many providing traditional live music each evening.

Just about everything is in walking distance but bike, taxi and car hire are readily available.

There are plenty of other things to do in Kinsale other than eat or drink although these are a great place to start! Great for Golfers as home to the world famous 'The Old Head of Kinsale' Golf course. Historic places to visit such as Charles Fort, Desmond Castle etc. Lovely beaches which are hugely popular for water sports. Horse Riding, Hiking, Breath taking scenery. Kinsale Tourist centre is located very close by where you will be able to get plenty of other ideas but you can view further information by going to http://www.kinsale.ie/.

Conveniently located small apartment dog friendly

The apartment had a very central location close to all amenities. There is a cafe in the front of the building and a small courtyard at the back which our apartment backed onto. It was clean and quiet. My only complaint was that I booked the apartment because dogs were allowed but once we had arrived we were asked to pay 25€ a night in cash for cleaning. We were not told about this charge when we booked and the apartment was only cleaned once after we left. It should be made clear when you book if there are any extra charges.

Terrible host, moldy room.

This booking was a nightmare from the moment we showed up in Kinsale. We were supposed to be able to check in at 4pm; the host was to send us the lock-box info and instructions earlier that day. We hadn't received anything by 4:30, so we tried to contact him by text, phone call, WhatsApp, and via Vrbo app. No response. My husband finally saw a woman inside the closed coffee shop on the same property and knocked on the door. When she answered, he explained the situation and she said she would call him as he was her landlord too. She called and told him that we were there trying to check in, and could he speak to us. He hung up on her. Meanwhile I was on chat with Vrbo, who said they couldn't really help unless I called, which I had to pay for by the minute as I don't have an international phone plan. But at that point, I was desperate so I did. Vrbo said they would call him. Within 5 minutes of being put on hold, he sent my husband a WhatsApp with the info to get into the room, and then finally sent me an email with the same info. That is the last we heard from him. I tried to explain to Vrbo that he was ignoring us, but they said since we confirmed his WhatsApp message, there was nothing they could do. We finally get inside and it smelled terrible. The musty smell was overpowering. We looked around and found black mold all around one of the windows. There was no way we could stay in that room. We ended up having to book a different hotel, with no refund yet. Do NOT book here.

My name is James and I live in the UK but I was born in Co .Limerick originally.

I have been visiting Kinsale for the last 10 years as I fell in love with the superb cuisine, lively pubs and fantastic scenery not to mention the friendly locals so now spend half the year here.

I recently purchased these apartments in Main Street Kinsale and decided to refurbish them to a high standard and let them as holiday lets so that other people can also enjoy what Kinsale has to offer and hopefully love it as much as I do.
