Stayed for a couple of days for our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time.

Amazing accommodation, delicious food, great service, lovely setting and atmosphere and all the staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend.

We liked the decoration of the lodge and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the inn is very cosy. The automatic ventilation system is very noisy and the mattresses in the twin room need replacing.

Disappointed

We have stayed here for the past few years and its always been amazing, especially Sunday roast. We were very disappointed on this last visit because the beef had so much fat and the meat was chewy and so fibrous that we had to remove it from our mouth. We gave all the meat to our dogs. The accommodation was fine. Staff did not ask us if we enjoyed our stay , just took our key and said thanks. Unfortunately we will not stay again and will not recommend to friends and family.

Lovely relaxing stay at the Kings Head.

This was our third stay at the Kings Head - lovely pub with friendly, welcoming staff. The food is excellent and we stayed for 3 nights and had evening meals there on all 3 evenings. We stayed in a lodge which had everything that you could possibly want - and decorated beautifully. We will be back !

Fabulous Birthday weekend!

We keep coming back to The Kings Head as we are made so welcome. We have been totally spoilt yet again.Nothing is too much trouble, all staff are so helpful and go the extra mile.
