En el lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar de las impresionantes vistas de la playa de Ventnor Bay. El apartamento está orientado al sur por una tranquila calle privada, con su propio estacionamiento, con vista a la playa ya 5 minutos a pie de la ciudad.

El apartamento está situado en la ciudad victoriana de Ventnor, en la costa de la isla de Wight. Famoso por su microclima suave de estilo mediterráneo, tiene la mayor cantidad de horas de sol en el Reino Unido.

Con una playa familiar, bordeada por bonitas cabañas de playa victorianas y un fantástico paisaje costero, es perfecta para familias o parejas y, a menudo, atrae a caminantes, escritores y artistas que buscan vistas vírgenes. Su peculiar combinación de pequeñas tiendas vintage y muchos restaurantes populares ofrecen algo para todos. Algunos de nuestros apartamentos también admiten perros.

El apartamento del segundo piso tiene su propio estacionamiento y acceso independiente y tiene 1 habitación familiar (doble y literas), baño, salón separado (con cama doble desplegable) y una cocina totalmente equipada. ¡El apartamento tiene fantásticas vistas al mar desde el salón y el dormitorio, perfecto para tumbarse en la cama y escuchar las olas!

El apartamento está decorado con un tema costero y tiene wi-fi de banda ancha, televisión inteligente, reproductor de DVD y una cocina totalmente equipada con lavavajillas. También se proporcionan toallas y ropa de cama blanca.

Tenemos una sala de lavandería, ofrecemos una selección de juegos, libros y DVD y también hay un pequeño jardín para uso de los huéspedes.

Perfect location, great views, peaceful. Easy check in and clean apartment. Lovely to wake up and sit in bed watching the sea and sunrise. Own little path down to the beach, bars, chip shop, restaurants etc! Only 15 mins from Shanklin chine, wildheart sanctuary etc. would stay again.

An oasis of calm.

Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the sea was nostalgic and calming. The property was welcoming, clean and tastefully furnished. We felt safe, and had all we needed. Tea and Cadbury’s chocolate fingers were so lovely on arrival. Would love to return one day.

This is a beautiful apartment with amazing views over Ventnor beach - the location was perfect. We had such a lovely weekend and would definitely stay there again! The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, and Dawn was really quick and helpful on all communication. We loved the thoughtful touches like the DVD and book library in the hallway. Highly recommend!

What a lovely retreat by the sea. Apartment was very clean and had all the kitchen equipment (pots, pans, potholders, utensils, etc) needed to prepare basic meals. We found the apartment to be very restful and enjoyed waking to the sound of waves on the shore. The laundry room with washer and tumbler was much appreciated. Lots of great restaurants in area and bus service was stellar.

amazing property

Ideal place for a relaxing holiday

Friendly and helpful landlady. Well equipped apartment with an amazing view of the sea. One minute's walk to the beach. We enjoyed it very much and can highly recommend staying here.

We loved the apartment. It was perfect for the two of us and the dogs. The seaview from the lounge was great. The kitchen was was well equiped and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property for a stay on IoW.

A lovely Holiday

We were both very pleased with the property and the communications with the owner. They made us feel very welcome and are clearly enthusiastic about creating a great environment for their guests. We would happily re visit in the future- hopefully not too distant.

Great stay

Lovely apartment with panoramic views of the sea. Location was fantastic, just a few steps from the beach. Lots of nice restaurants and tea shops in Shanklin nearby. The apartment had everything we needed an was clean and bright. As there were quite a few steps leading up to the apartment it would be unsuitable for someone with mobility issues.

Lovely property. Amazing views.

Just on our way home following a 2 night stay. Would highly recommend. We had a few last minutes changes which were dealt with. Nothing was too much hassle.

Lovely location, excellent views. Had to get used to all the steps, but did not spoil the holiday. All i would say is the apartment could do with a lick of paint. Would not hesitate to stay again. Bonus was able to take the dogs. Thanks for a lovely time.

Stunning Flat

A really lovely flat . Spotlessly clean . Both double beds really comfortable. Ingenious pull down double bed in lounge. Very large rooms with stunning views . You do need to be able to walk well as a lot of steps and a steep hill but would definitely come back if Dawn would have us !!

Weekend trip to Ventnor

First time at Saltys on a trip to Ventnor. Fist impressions were the amount of steps but then the property is on a hillside. You couldn't get better views of the sea once you've climbed to the flat. If you can handle the steps there is no better place to stay. Only gripes would be the dirty oven we had to wash before being able to use and the cheap bedding/linen and lack of loo roll. Would have no hesitation to return.

Yes we try to make it clear to everyone that our hillside position means there are lots of steps everywhere so definitely not suitable for anypne with mobility problems, but most guests think the views are worth the climb! So sorry about the oven, our housekeeper is usually so thorough with making everyone sparkle so not sure how that got missed. Dawn

We had a lovely weeks break. Its always like stepping into another world when we visit the Island. The flat was just perfect for the two of us. Everything we needed for comfort was there to be found. Just loved the windows looking out on to the sea front, after the storm we were even treated to viewing surfers from them. Many thanks Dawn.

Good location, great views

Lovely little apartment which is well equipped. Ideal for what we needed. Listing should make it clear on the amount of steps as anyone less mobile would struggle to carry luggage to the top floor apartments. I did contact the owner to look to change my ferry time for my return and have yet to receive a response.

Full refurb needed

On our arrival it was obvious that the whole apartments decor carpets and furnishings were tired and this included the bedding. The bunk beds were not even made up so we couldnt stay in the same room and chat about our day. The pull down bed in the lounge was made up but you have to move the sofa to be able to pull the bed down...not ideal every day. The beds were like sleeping on concrete and in my book everyone deserves a good night sleep when on holiday. This is not what we had on these beds. The tv pixlated due to being so old and was unwatchable...im only glad that the weather was beautiful so that we didnt need the tv. We spoke to the host who admitted is was the oldest tv she had but wasn't on the island so couldnt do anything about it.The man that looks after the apartments was very helpful and asked the host if he could take a tv from one of the other apartments but was told no because they had guests coming in at the weekend. This was on the Tuesday and we were already there. Not impressed with the customer care ethic.The host agreed to take a fire stick from one of the apartments but the tv kept pixlating so was useless. There was only 3 towels that were left out for our use and this was not sufficient so permission was given to the apartment manager to give us some more. Three towels between two is not enough. So although the view is outstanding the apartment was not..We do not recommend and will not be returning to th acco............................agaismall it

Fab location

This property is located in road that has an incline, and maneuvering with a car around the permanently parked car was a bit tricky. Add the walk up the stairs with bags got your heart rate up, BUT it was all worth it for the view that you wake up to and the sounds of the ocean at night. My one moan was the bed wasn't comfy, but then we didn't go to Ventnor to sleep.

We think Salty Holidays in the best location in Ventnor with our fantastic beach so close, but it's also walking distance to some fantastic restaurants, cafes and all the lovely little independent shops in Ventnor.

My best bits are:
- Lying in bed listening to the waves
- Watching the wall lizards basking in the sun on the garden wall
- Walking along the coastal path on a windy day
- Playing cricket or rounders on the beach at the end of the day
- Finding treasures in rockpools and building sandcastles
- Not needing to go out anywhere, because you already have the best view in town!
