In the heart of the Dordogne, discover four beautiful houses at only 600m from the historical center of Sarlat, its markets, animations and its numerous gastronomic restaurants. All of them have been decorated with care and are equipped with all modern comforts to guarantee a pleasant stay to each guest.
The Marqueysac house has a main room with a living room with sofa bed, TV and an open kitchen (gas stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, and refrigerator/freezer, washing machine).

The bedroom has a double bed (160cm), and an opening on the garden. The bathroom and the toilet are separate.

Outside the terrace offers garden furniture and a barbecue. Moreover a large, sunny and secure swimming pool awaits you.
The wifi is available in the house and at the pool.

You can park at the front of the house and also in the shaded parking at the back.
This property is located on a large wooded plot of land in a quiet area.

The castles of Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Domme and Castelnaud, the beaches of the Dordogne for canoeing/kayaking are less than 10 km away.

Would not let me make any lower

Let me start by saying the location and the swimming pool were excellent , however we cant say that about the accommodation . We arrived to find our name pinned to the front door and no one about , so after moving in about an hour and a half later a girl arrived walking her dog and greeted us. We discovered the kettle did not boil so took it to her and was handed a coffee maker instead, which we already had , when we checked out a week later we still had not received a replacement. So spent the week boiling water for drinks in a saucepan. We were greeted with cobwebs everywhere even though we were charged €20 for cleaning, the mattress was falling to bits , it was badly equipped, only one large wine glass and one pasta bowl. The cutlery was poor quality , the towels were supposed to be white but were off colour and shabby, it seems that costs had been cut throughout.

Gîte très bien situé et confortable. La literie a été changée et est vraiment top. Le plus cette année, un lave linge. Accueil très agréable avec un petit cadeau de bienvenue typique de la région. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et notre petit studio. Tout y est. De plus, près du centre de Sarlat, donc pas besoin de la voiture; on y est en 10 minutes. Dommage pour la météo, car nous aurions pu profiter un peu plus de l'extérieur... une prochaine fois peut-être!

Quiet and close to center with nice pool

There are several rentals in two houses, which share a very nice pool. Shaded, private parking is available. The walking distance to the historic center is about 5-10 minutes. We had a small apartment with a living room with an open kitchen, a dining table and a sofa, a bedroom, a bathroom with separate toilet and a small private patio. Everything was functional and clean and the bed was good. The kitchen is well equipped though most items are quite worn. Cathy is an excellent host and provides good recommendations.

Perfect holiday home

This was a lovely house for my husband and daughter this summer holiday. Spacious bedroom upstairs. We loved relaxing by the pool in the afternoon. It was in a great location, only a 5 minute walk into the town centre. We would highly recommend it.

parfait séjour

Sarlat la ville parfaite pour visiter la vallée de la Dordogne . A la fois discret et a l'écoute Pascal et Cathy sont charmants et accueillants , et rien à dire sur la location et encore moins sur la piscine . Merci et surement à un de ces jours !

Well appointed little gites in a fantastic location

My husband and I stayed for 10 nights in June 2016. The gites are nicely maintained and well equipped with modern fixings, and pretty much everything provided that we could need. The shower area in our gite was quite compact but enitirely functional and clean and the kitchen was perfect for the minimal amount of cooking we did. The bed was comfortable; the doors to the terrace area lead into the bedroom and although at first this seemed odd, it really was't an issue at all. There was only one wardrobe for storing clothes in - luckily we didn't have that much with us so that was OK, but a larger family might struggle for storage space. The pool area is lovely, nice and private, and surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the city itself, the medieval centre of which is just an easy 10-minute stroll away. There is a good selection of restaurants and takeaways nearby, and Sarlat has at least 2 large supermarkets which are easy to get to by car. Access to the gites by car could perhaps be quite tricky, but once you've mastered the blind bends and hills, not a problem! There is ample room to park off road around the back of the property, which feels very secure. Sarlat itself is a delight, and no matter how many times we went into the city we found something new to see; we found that everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Travelling in and around the area by car wasn't an issue at all, and there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding towns and villages, togehter with breath-taking scenery. We would certainly stay here again should we return to this part of the Perigord. Thank you Cathy!

SEJOUR A SARLAT

Séjour agréable. Températures douces et malgré la pluie, nous avons pu pofiter d'une très belle piscine. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et de bons conseils. Le centre historique de Sarlat est accessible à pied, conformément à l'annonce. Location propre, très bonne literie.
