Two bedroom cottage in the heart of Rye with private parking.

The cottage has just been refurbished with a refreshed kitchen, new bathroom and general modernisation to create a light airy space.

The Cottage will sleep 4 and is perfect for a romantic get away or family holiday with a dog allowed to stay. Rooms will be adapted to sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children/teenagers.
An additional charge of £30.00 per week will be added to rental cost. Any 3 night stay will incur a charge of £13.00.

A generous Food Welcome Pack is provided for 7 night stays with a reduced pack for 3 night stays. A kitchen starter pack is also included.

The beach is just a 10 minute drive away.

    Lovely trip

    What a great place to stay. Jamie was great and sent all relevant info a few days before. A lovely base to explore Rye and the beaches as it is a very central location. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The welcome basket was very much appreciated. Highly recommend this house, we would love to come back

    Great location

    A well presented, very comfortable house in a central location for everything in Rye. The property manager and housekeeper were very helpful and friendly. It was a real bonus to have a parking space.

    Possibly not for retirees

    We’ve stayed here before but realised it’s not for the older generation. Bathroom is designed for young people, bath is huge would take gallons of water to fill, sides are very high we would never be able to climb in or out. Walk in shower has no rail to steady yourself, no shelf to put your shower gel, shampoo etc. shower head needs adjustment as water sprays on to the floor. Basin too high it came up to my chest and water splashes everywhere when trying to clean teeth, wash hands etc and the towel rail is the smallest I’ve seen. TV is lovely and big but couldn’t get any local news or usual BBC1/2, ITV1/2 BBC4 or Channel 5. No sport at all only old sport from years ago. Pity as watching Tv in the evenings is our way of relaxing, really frustrating. Sorry to be so negative but I think we are too old now to enjoy this propert anymore.

    Excellent Property

    We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was extremely clean, well equipped and the owner, Jamie, is super responsive. Great location for exploring the area and our dog really enjoyed running around on the beach at Camber Sands! Highly recommended.

    Lovely Rye

    Really good house and garden and private parking in Rye was a big bonus. The only real downside was the amount of noise in the early morning from deliveries to the nearby shops. Not the best property if you like a lie-in on your holiday..

    Summer family holiday

    We were lucky to find this property available in August for a family of four and a dog. The owner responded to my queries very promptly, and sent relevant information a few days before our stay. The location is very central, which was good for wandering around the centre and going out in the evening. The property itself is very well presented and had most things we needed. There was a nice welcome pack and milk in the fridge. It was my oversight for not checking, but there is no dishwasher, and one bathroom can be an issue for a family. I rated it a bit lower on cleanliness because we found things in drawers that had been missed by the cleaners and because no dishwasher means that dishes are hand washed by previous guests. I'd recommend a second set of crockery and cutlery, to allow used ones to be taken away and cleaned in a dishwasher. I'd also recommend a retractable washing line in the garden, as not everyone wants to use a dryer. Overall, this is a lovely centrally-located cottage that provides a good base for the town and nearby beaches.

    Perfect location, wonderful property

    We have just returned from 3 nights at this beautiful house in the heart of Rye. Fully equipped with all we needed and a lovely welcome hamper and all mod cons. Thank you for having us!
