Beautiful barn and welcome hosts

The barn was beautifully decorated and spotless throughout. A lot of thought had clearly gone into the design and furnishings and the barn contained everything we needed. We had a lovely stay there.

Really enjoyed our short break. The property is well located between Dittisham and Dartmouth and has everything you need. Very well maintained and helpful owners. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Home in the countryside

We have just come back from a wonderful time here. The house is immaculate and has absolutely everything you could possible want for a luxury break away. Communication and location was perfect. We will be back!

Excellent accommodation, beautiful surroundings

This is a terrific property. Very well designed and beautifully presented with everything you can think of provided for a perfect stay. The beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp linen. The location is idyllic, with gardens carefully managed to blend in with the spectacular scenery. The area is great for exploring. Dartmouth is well worth a visit not least for good food and drink options. Walking to Dittisham and taking the ferry to Greenway was another highlight. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Beautiful property set in gorgeous countryside

Our stay at this property was really enjoyable. Everything was spotlessly clean and really tastefully decorated. We all had a very relaxing stay and the lovely owners were always on hand if we had any problems. The only thing we would say is that if taking your dog, it can get very muddy due to the farmyard in the Lane nearby. Thank you once again Andrew and Martin. We will be back.

Location

Lovely property with glorious views. The location was ideal for us being close to friends and family. The property itself suited my personal requirements ideally with the lounge, kitchen, bedroom, en-suite all being on the same first floor. Owners were ideal being on hand without being too intrusive. Excellent.

Perfect stay

Andrew and Martin made us feel so welcome when we arrived. We were shown round the barn which was absolutely beautiful! A really peaceful location with beautiful beaches and places to walk. We would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another holiday!

Superb place and wonderful and attentive owners.

The place is a dream and better than the pictures. The owners are absolutely committed to you having a wonderful time. They are in their stunning bed and breakfast next door if you need them but leave you to enjoy the wonderful surroundings and scenery of the 5 star accommodation. By the time myself and my mom left after a fantastic 3 night stay we felt we'd made new friends. I can't tell you what a fabulous place it is. Highly recommended. Xx

Great location to explore South Devon

Enjoyed our time at the property. Great location to access the Dart River, south coast beaches and nearby towns Dartington and Totnes. The house has ample grounds with outdoor space to relax and walks on your doorstep. The holiday house itself is small but well designed and appointed and therefore very comfortable, even for a family travelling with pets! The hosts were really accommodating and welcoming. For dog owners it’s worth noting they do ask not to leave pets unattended at the property.

Such a nice stay.

Think someone else has said it…. Just book it!!! Your racked with indecision when booking these things … is it nice? Is it a good location? Etc, etc… Well you know what it’s everything you wanted and more! Andrew and Martin the hosts are lovely. The place is immaculate and so well fitted out. Great location.. Dittisham walkable, with great walks across fields and country lanes immediately out the front door. Dartmouth a stones throw. Salcombe a short drive. Cliff walks with wildlife such as seals galore… Big supermarkets 5 mins away. A very nice livingroom view across fields to the sea, and a balcony to sit on and garden to use. We loved it. Thank you Andrew and Martin.

Review

The property has been converted to high standard. It is extremely well equipped, clean and in a lovely position. The owners were very helpful and rectified a query without delay. For us, however, we did find the lack of privacy a concern, especially the lack of curtains on the large living room window. The property is overlooked on all sides and whilst the large windows are very well designed to maximise a feeling of light and space, the proximity of the B & B next door means that guests from there look directly from their balcony into the living room. Being 5ft 11, my husband did find the low ceilings an issue, especially in the bathroom - it may be helpful to future guests to mention this?

Lovely relaxing break

Andrew and Martin made us feel so welcome on arrival and their local knowledge really helped us in finding some hidden treasures in the area. The barn was beautifully presented, clean and very homely and very well equipped throughout. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon.
