Villa Miljak is in Podstrana, a beautiful tourist resort of Mediterranean atmosphere which is situated close to (8 km) the 1700 year-old town of Split, the center of Central Dalmatia. Villa is situated at an elevation of 200 m from the sea, offers a unique and unobstructed view of the islands and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Villa Miljak offers year round exceptionally cozy, comfortable and luxurious accommodation in 6 air-conditioned suites. All apartments are new and modern. In front of the villa is a pool size of 25 m2, sun loungers, parasols, a small summer house with a barbecue and fenced parking for guests.

Villa Miljak

The property was great. We travelled with 2 families, all adults. We were able to be together but had privacy at the same time. There is a beautiful beach and restaurants nearby. Split was a 30 minute uber. We stayed 4 days so we did excursions 2 days then enjoyed more relaxation near the vrbo.

Excellent stay, lovely apartments

We travelled as a large group and booked all six of the apartments - it was ideal for our needs. All the villas were clean and had all the basics you could want in. The outside area is lovely, the pool is well maintained and we had a BBQ one day using the BBQ and equipment which is provided. The owner, Ante, is great, he's very easy to deal with and always available on the phone if needed. He did our airport transfers for us and he dropped our group into Split during our stay in the evenings - he was always on time and his rates for this were very good. The location is around a 15 minute drive from Split but there are local supermarkets, a few hotels if you want to pop for breakfast and a Life's a beach is a really nice beach bar. There is someone else who lives onsite which we were not aware of until the middle of our stay, being a large group we did create some noise, so that's worth baring in mind but it didn't effect our stay.

Gutes Standarthaus

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen, doch noch ganz gut in Schuss, als Standarthaus. Der Hausherr Wohnt in der zweiten von drei Etagen, wass mit vielen Hinweisen und Behlehrungen verbunden war. Entfernung zum Meer ist mit einer Hauptsrasseenüberquerung verbunden und mit Bergigen Aufstieg.

Lovely Stay

Everything was top notch. Very nice welcome and very adaptable check in and check out. The villa is huge with many separated apartments. Only issue was that the WiFi was not working over our stay.

Amazing house with great view and excellent hospitality

We booked the villa with a group of 19 students from Delft. Ante (the owner) is an amazing guide and loves to arrange your stay in Split. We went canyoning, on a boat trip and to the Krka waterfalls on Ante's suggestion. He arranged all our transfers and asked normal prices for everything. Ante and his friends were very nice and funny guys, so no need to get bored during a trip to one of the activities. We also had a few lovely dinners on Ante's suggestion, especially the fish dinner at the Island of Brac (beautiful). Ante, thank you for the hospitality and we will hopefully see you next year! Villa Miljak is THE place to go to if you're with a big group and need some vacation.

Great time in Split

Really nice location in a quiet neighbourhood. Supermarket in 200m, very recommendable restaurant (Hotel Split) also in 200m. About 10 minutes to Split. The host, Ante: he was an extremely helpful with every needs we had. Absolutely great guy.

Traumhafter Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir hatten eine Traumurlaub in der Villa Miljak! Die Villa ist Ideal für große Reisegruppen & durch die Aufteilung des Hauses in einzelne Appartments hat man trotz großer Gruppe ausreichend Privatsphäre. Die Appartments sind schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich mit riesiger Terasse, Pool und Poolhaus war Haupt Aufenthaltsort bei uns. Perfekt für gemütliche „Pooltage“ oder Grillabende. Zu erwähnen ist noch der Traumhafte Ausbilck aufs Meer! Wir durften 10 Tage wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen!! Nicht zu vergessen ist die tolle & freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Ante. Von Anfang an hat er immer schnell auf unsere Fragen geantwortet. Wir hatten einen privaten Bootsausflug bei ihm gebucht der das Highlight des Urlaubs war! Danke für Alles Ante! Wir werden wiederkommen!

Perfect for bigger group

We were a group of 22 staying at this villa and we enjoyed it a lot! Villa was in good condition and clean. Swimming pool area and grill house were great! Location was excellent. Villa was near to the beach and shops and restaurants were near. It was easy to order car transfers and visits to places from Ante. Trip was a success. And we can highly recommend the villa! Great stay!

Stayed at Villa Miljak in May 2019 with a large group of friends for a celebration holiday. The villa itself is great, very clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable break. Ante is very responsive and helps with everything from transfers to excursions you may wish to do - very grateful for that! Would certainly recommend the Croatian tavern meal in the mountains. Only downside was that we were not aware from the advert listing that there was a private section of the villa on the middle floor. Some items were moved/tidied up by those living in the middle floor which we still wanted to use or had tidied up ourselves. Overall a great stay though.

Wonderful location with most friendly hosts!

We booked the whole villa for a b-day surprise party for 20 guests. The communication with Ante was excellent, he was always available for questions and recommendations around Split and he organized a shuttle service for some of our guests. Ante, the housekeeping woman and his family are great hosts, they did everything made us feel so comfortable!!! The villa is beautiful, clean, equipped with the necessary tools (coffee machine, air condition, electric kettle,…) and the villa has the best amazing view we very had! The beach, supermarket, bakery, etc. are only a few min away. The pool area is hugh with a wonderful BBQ area. Ante organized the BEST DAY we ever had!!! We spent a whole day on a wonderful boot and had two stops in amazing bays; the water was crystal clear, we had lunch in a small village with tasty wine and super good fish! The bay / small village was not crowded by tourists. ALL people we met in Croatia were super friendly and helpful :-) THANK YOU very much for a wonderful and unforgettable time we will definitely recommend your amazing Villa! Wonderful location with most friendly hosts!

Great house with even nicer host.

So we booked the whole house since we were 29 students that just graduated. The communication with Ante was super easy over WhatsApp and he always answered fast. We got picked up upon arrival from the airport and brougt to the house. Nice flats with balcony and a stunning view. The flats were clean and had all the basics you need. The pool is pretty large with a great poolside and bbq place. The housekeeper was very friendly and helped us where he could. Ante managed our trips and had a lot of activities to offer. A super shuttle service that would take us where we wanted and also pick us up and brings us home, even after party's in split;) So we say thank you for an unforgettable trip and we will definitely recommend it to the following students at our school! Great apartments, a nice view and friendly staff

It was my first time organizing a trip for more than 2 people, therefore I was very worried about almost everything. Even though I felt like the stereotypical annoying customer, Ante, the man for everything at the villa, did everything to make our stay as good as possible. Before we arrived we tried to keep our expectations low so we would't be disappointed. But when we actually arrived there we were blown away. Very clean rooms, the swimming pool and the lounge area surprised us in a positive way. You can decide if you want to be a small group in your apartment or sit together in a large group at the pool or at the chimney. Now that I've talked about the location itself, I want to give some credit to every single person involved in the cleaning, managing etc. I've never had such nice staff on vacation before. Whenever we had a problem Ante sent someone to help us out, he also came personally just to ask if we are fine. I can tell you, we definitely were not the easiest or most quiet group to get along with, but no one complained about anything ever. To sum up all of this: If you want a great vacation with lots of friends at a very beatiful spot in croatia with the best staff possible, just go to Villa Miljak. Although it's not a five star hotel, you will feel like visiting one! P.S.: Sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes, English is not my first language.

Excellent service for a group holiday

It was my turn to organise an annual group holiday - 10 adults, mix of couples and singles and a variety of interests to cater to. Ante was great to deal with, easy to book, helped arrange all our transfers (3 sets of flights) and a boat trip for some island hopping. Accommodation was beautifully clean and looked after and in a great location for Split and 5 minutes walk to the marina/ beach Originally a set of apartments, it worked well for a large group having the whole building - the outside lounge by the pool was great and we used one of the ground floor apartments as a communal "base". In essence we didn't use any of the kitchenettes is any of the apartments apart from one downstairs Due to the layout, it lacks that "large kitchen" for group cooking, but as we were only having breakfast, snacks and salads (eating out the rest of the time) it wasn't really an issue. Great BBQ by the pool/ outdoor lounge Note: the two apartments on the top floor are accessed by a long flight of steps - not an issue for us, but might affect some groups....the views were easily worth it. Its an ideal location to explore from and a great base for a large mixed group so that you can be together, but still have a sense of separateness and privacy when you want Highly recommended and Ante was a perfect host, always helpful, easy to reach and available to make suggestions.

Can't recommned this place highly enough

Fantastic place to stay if visiting Split! Each apartment had every facility you'd need, and the views were stunning. The 24/7 taxi service was really useful, readily available, and cheap to boot. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, and the value for money was unrivalled from our research. All amenities you'd need are within a short walk, and it's only a 10 minutes ride into central Split. Loved this place, hoping to return again soon

Amazing Place

This villa is amazing, the views are incredible and the villa is well furnished. The pool is great, and there is a lovely BBQ area. It was all clean and in good order, The owners are great, and give you their contact details and are available 24/7 to sort you out with Taxis. They recommended loads of great activities for us and were more than happy to organise them for us. The only slight negative for me was that the listing says 'Entire Building' but the villa is split into ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor and 3rd floor. The 2nd floor is actually a residential flat. It didn't really affect the holiday as they were quiet and didn't bother us at all.. but it's just slightly different to what's advertised. Overall I would 100% recommend this for a family gathering, or a friends holiday like ours!!

Perfect vacation in croatia

Me and my friends stayed at Villa Miljak ad had a great time there. Spacious apartments, clean pool and great view. Restaurant by the Villa has an excelent menu and the beach is close.

I stayed with a group of friends at Villa Miljak last summer. Looking forward coming back ! It was a supreme experience from beginning all the way to the end. Pool is great, with a BBQ just by it. The view from the Villa is also something you wont forget. Staff is really kind and always at your disposal to organise any activity you want. Recommend you see it for your self !
