If you’re looking for a seaside escape in Scarborough, look no further than Ocean Breeze. This ground floor apartment sleeps two guests so it’s the perfect spot for a couples getaway. Located in the centre of Scarborough, you'll be a short walk from everything Scarborough has to offer including the many pubs, restaurants and cafes on offer.



The Space:

Boasting high ceilings and plenty of character, Ocean View has a welcoming living area with a large bay window which floods the room with light. Relax on the modern sofa with a good book or turn on the TV to keep up with your favourite shows. Whether you’re ordering in a takeaway or making a home cooked meal, a folding table and two dining chairs are provided.



The apartment has a cosy kitchen which is fully equipped for your self-catering stay.



You’ll find a tranquil feel in the bedroom which is achieved with a neutral colour scheme and pops of blue. There is a comfortable Super King bed and premium bed linens to ensure you get the best sleep possible.



The bathroom has a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and a basin.



Ocean Breeze is part of a three-apartment complex called The Gallery Apartments sleeping up to 8 guests. If you are looking to book a stay for a large group you can reserve Ocean Breeze, Rockpool and Ocean Wave and enjoy exclusive use of the building. Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.



There are a number of pay and display car parks in Scarborough and options will be sent to you prior to your arrival date. Scarborough Railway Station car park is a 5-minute walk away and charges £4.20 per day or £19.50 per week.



The Neighborhood:

Ocean Breeze is located in the popular coastal town of Scarborough. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.



There are a number of beaches for you to choose from too. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty.



Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 15 minute walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.



Getting Around:

Ocean View is within walking distance of all that Scarborough has to offer and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.



Scarborough Train Station is a short 3 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield.



There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
