Situated into the southern coastal landscape of the island, A & C Home is an ideal location for recharging in Crete. It is a part of the Plakias Resorts complex located in Plakias, ideally situated walking distance from Plakias sandy beach (just 100 meters) and all kinds of shops, thus our guests can enjoy a car free holiday.


A & C Home 1 is a two-bedroom, 70m2 ground level apartment which accommodates up to four guests. Entering the apartment the guests find themselves in a cosy, air-conditioned open plan area featuring the living room, dining area and kitchen. The living room offers a large sofa with two armchairs, a 42" TV and opens to a veranda equipped with an outdoor dining table and outdoor sofa. The kitchen provides all necessary equipment for a self catered holiday while the indoor dining table may seat up to four guests.


The apartment features two air conditioned bedrooms, one of which features a King size bed (1,60 x 2,00), closet, safe and provides direct access to the veranda. The second bedroom offers 2 single beds (0,90 x 2,00) that may be converted into a King size bed (1,80 x 2,00), a closet and direct access to private balcony with a pool view. Finally there is a family bathroom featuring a bathtub and washing machine, as well as a WC for added comfort.

Located inside Plakias Resorts, the guests of A & C Home 1 can enjoy the following facilities of the complex:

INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA


Originally a very small and quiet fishing village, Plakias town has become a renowned tourist resort now providing all the facilities our guests would wish for a self-catering holiday. Within walking distance you can find from supermarkets and bakeries, including a very wide range of products local and traditional goods, to a post office, a variety of tavernas, cafes, bars, ATMs, doctors office and souvenir shops. While it has grown in size over the years, it still retains its special charm that draws many visitors back again, year after year.

Accessed by the magnificent Kotsifou and Kourtaliotiko Gorges, the village of Plakias is set towards the centre of a large bay enclosed within the arms of mountains. Sellia and Mirthios mountain villages are nearby with traditional restaurants with spectacular views of the sea, surrounding hills and Plakias bay.


Close to Plakias you can also experience some wonderful activities, like horse riding on the beach, scuba diving and water sports (at Damnoni beach). From the working harbour of Plakias, there are several boat trips to other beaches and villages along the south coast.


Plakias is an excellent base to explore the south coast of Crete as it is close to numerous amazing natural beaches in the whole Greece, such as the palm beach of Preveli, Triopetra, Agios Pavlos, Ammoudi, Damnoni, Schinaria and Souda. Those beaches are famous for their crystal clear blue waters and attract many visitors as well as locals from around the island. All the above mentioned beaches are organized, providing sun beds and umbrellas, but there are sections on those beaches where you could go be away of the crowd.
