Escape to this private 300-year-old traditional stone built Irish cottage which is bursting with character and offers quality self-catering accommodation throughout the year. Nestled on a peaceful and secluded working beef farm down a one-mile lane, in the heart of historic County Tipperary, it provides the ultimate retreat for a countryside escape.

Explore the breath-taking scenery with direct access to 250 acres to enjoy walks, forest, river, and easy access to mountains and lakes. The farm is steeped in history with two Megalithic structures to explore. This is old Ireland with Modern Amenities.

Corderry Farm puts you in the heart of Irish culture, with Irelands top heritage sites just a short drive away. Visit Cahir castle, Rock of Cashel, lough Gur, Mitchelstown caves to name just a few.

Located just 3 miles from the local village and 15 minutes from Tipperary town and only a short distance down the road are Limerick and Cork. Unique, one of a kind

Very peaceful with lots of character. The owners also offer food bundles from their own animals on the farm. Also the owner won best steak in the world a few years ago which is one of the bundles

We were met by the owner and made welcome with pie, eggs, and cream. We met the cats, goats and horses. Very lovey home. Walking paths were great.

A magical place to stay!

I don’t think I can rave enough about my visit here~ I loved everything about it! It really feels like a touch of old Ireland, but with modern conveniences. was enchanted by the 350 year old cottage.

Idyllic

This was a phenomenal stay in Ireland. Peaceful, inspiring, and recharging. I am writing a book, so this place and welcoming family provided wholesome family time and was idyllic for a bit of creative writing.

Absolutely loved Corderry farm! Charming farmhouse, beautiful property and Ailish and John were amazing hosts that were there for anything we needed. Don’t leave without trying their world-famous steak!

First time in Ireland

A great rustic cottage to give us a first taste of rural Ireland. Tucked out of the way it can be used as a base to travel out and about or make use of the many walking guides in the cottage. The cottage is old so do not expect everything modern but all you need is there including free wifi, several tv channels and a games room. The hosts are very friendly and keen to make sure you have no problems. Enjoy the scenery, the farm animals and relax. If coming out of Tipperary, get to Kilross and take the only left turn there is. We were given a road name that we never found so missed the turning initially.

Living in an Irish Fairytale

Ailish and John’s cottage is just perfect! The views are beyond gorgeous and the land around it is magical. They provided everything we needed and were such amazing hosts. The beds and linens were comfy and warm and the peat fireplaces the perfect homecoming. We were greeted on checkin with homemade bread, butter, milk and eggs from the farm. And as animal lovers we were so excited to visit the goats, horses and chickens in our backyard. Best surprise of all was two sweet baby kittens in the barn. If you love to hike the trails right off the property are fantastic. I can’t rave enough about Corderry Farms!

Der Aufenthalt auf der Corderry Farm gibt alles, was für einen perfekten Urlaub notwendig ist. Angenehmes wohnen in einem modernisiertem und doch ursprünglichem Cottage, großartige Landschaft für Wanderungen oder Ausflüge in die nähernde Umgebung und die freundlichsten Vermieter, die den Aufenthalt perfekt machen. Gerne empfehlen wir die Corderry Farm weiter.

Lovely hosts, beautiful setting

Ailish and John were wonderful hosts and our stay was so relaxing. We enjoyed meeting the rest of the farm family, too - one cat, two dogs, two horses, two piglets, three hens, and a field of cows. Our family took full advantage of the trails leading from the property. Our son is a runner and went out for early morning runs. Ailish and John thought of everything when they planned their holiday let, including a place for an evening fire, a grill, and several outdoor seating areas. The evenings are so quiet you could hear a pin drop. We visited Tipperary, the Cliffs of Moher, Limerick, Cahir Castle, and Galbally for a traditional Irish breakfast. Their place is very remote, so be prepared for narrow country roads. I was a first-time Ireland driver from the US and it took some time to adjust. We planned our outings to be home before dark. If you are looking for a perfect countryside stay, look no further!

The farm and cottage have been in our family since the 1700’s, therefore we very much consider ourselves caretakers in preserving this authentic traditional Irish farmhouse. Our aim is to help future generations of guests experience and enjoy the magic of this special spot.

Our background in the equestrian and farming sector means we have a huge appreciation for the great outdoors and nature!

We both really enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds and walks of life and find it hugely rewarding to see others enjoying the serenity and beauty of the cottage, farm and trails.

We are so proud that Corderry Farm has been featured on a special hiking program “Tracks and Trails”. We were selected for our stunning scenery and the fact that the farm highlights Ireland’s magical beauty

In September 2021 we were also honoured and humbled, due to our fabulous location, to be selected as a film location for a short Irish film. The forty plus crew said it was one of the best settings that they had ever filmed in!

We were also delighted to be asked to speak on radio regarding one of our guides and this amazing area
