Lovely cottage

Beadale Cottage is extremely well appointed, with cotton bedding and spotlessly clean. The road beside the cottage is relatively busy for a rural road. We were close to all the things we wanted to do. We loved our stay here. Thank you

Comfort at its best

The cottage is so lovely and it has absolutely everything you need. It is located in a great position and the garden was such a surprise, it’s fantastic. Booked to go again and hope we will be able to get more use of the garden in the spring. It’s wonderful

Beadale Cottage - fabulous property

We had decided at short notice to have a family holiday in North Yorkshire and discovered Beadale Cottage in Ampleforth. The cottage is amazing. Recently renovated the property is in immaculate condition. We were a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers and had more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable and have a great holiday. There are 3 bedrooms so our girls shared one room but it was more than big enough for them to do so comfortably. The cottage is dog friendly which was a must for us and all they ask is to limit the dog to the kitchen and utility room which is fine. With the garden that goes on forever there was more than enough room for our dog. The cottage has everything that you might need - internet, fully equipped kitchen, outside space - it is really quite fabulous. There was really good information on things to do in the area especially circular walks which we did a lot of. Ampleforth is a lovely village and a really great base for exploring the surrounding area. The two pubs are good and both do food. They are busy so try to book in advance. The tea room in the village - Hearts of Ampleforth - is a must visit. Great service and food. They also provide the welcome hamper in the cottage. A day trip to Whitby on the North York’s Steam train is well worth it. All in all we really loved the Beadale Cottage and will definitely be booking again for next year.
