The houseboat was the perfect way to stay in Amsterdam. It had everything we needed, plus we felt close to nature in the city. Close to all public transport. Bernard was very responsive and accommodating, supplying us with fresh towels and trash removal halfway through our 7-day stay.

This suite was perfect for our short term stay in Amsterdam. It is conveniently located close to transit stops which makes it seamless to get downtown. Checking in and out was good too as the owner meets you to deliver the key and show you around the suite.

Quiet oasis on the outskirts

Was a perfect place to rejuvenate from our daily adventures. All of the public transportations options just 15 minute walk to get anywhere you wish. What a gem of a place

I booked the houseboat to stay with my sisters and we all fell in love with the place. It was very convenient and cosy and not too far from Amsterdam centre. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and we will definitely treasure the days we spent there. Thank you Bernard for this lovely private studio.

Cosy hideaway

We appreciated the warm cosy space for a windy and wet weekend in Amsterdam. The hosts kindly let us drop off our bags earlier than check in and the property was spotless with everything you'd need. Beds were comfortable and the space was really quiet. The bathroom was lovely and there was lots of space in the studio. The area is quiet but there are bars and restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance as well as buses and the metro into town.

Simple waterside home. Comfortable, host very helpful. Directions from host should have been easy but line 51 not going from Central Station so not so easily accessible. Though shows as having kitchen, details show it has no cooking facilities.

Not a true studio. More like a partitioned off master bedroom.

Not really a studio but more like a partitioned off master bedroom that's unfinished. The so called kitchenette has nothing more than a sink, refrigerator and kettle/coffee machine. No microwave or stove which would make it a "true" kitchenette. The hosts were fine, but not fully attentive to questions when asked. The so called balcony didn't hold more than 2 foldable chairs in the "front" porch, not the scenic back canal view. Unfinished particleboard walls made it appear cheap and thrown together for monetary purposes. Maybe others found it artistic? It's no where close to public transit, restaurants or grocery stores. It's fine if you rent a car and want seclusion. It's also near the University and airport so those with noise sensitivity will need ear plugs. Again, the hosts were nice. This location was not public transit friendly.

We loved staying at this property and our visit to Amsterdam! Studio was very clean and the most efficient use of space we've ever seen. Close to amazing public transportation and a great landing spot for our quick visit to Keukenhof and the Bollstreek (the bulb region.) Bernard was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!
