Cosy apartement near the seaside, La Casa de los pájaros, the House of Birds

We have all the amenities just 800 meters from the beautiful public beach of Xcalacoco, with beach clubs and restaurants that you can reach on foot or by bicycle. We are in a safe and very quiet neighborhood where you can rest wonderfully. We have many trees that visit beautiful birds of the region. The city center is 10 minutes away by car. Walking we have convenience stores, pharmacy, some restaurants, a golf course and two supermarkets 5 minutes away. We have lived in Playa del Carmen for 19 years. We will give you recommendations, you will surely enjoy your stay. We have a roof top from where you can see palm trees and trees from the region, with a table and chairs for sunbathing and a small pool that can be used even at night because it has lighting.

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing!

Owners on site were very friendly and helpful, and unobtrusive. We were on 2nd floor, with our own pool on the roof. Beautiful place, spotless, many palms and plants, like an oasis! Restaurant and groceries walking distance, beach a mile away, but gorgeous.

Fantastic— what a gem!

Xavier and Maku could not have been lovelier and helpful (so generous with advice on local things). Easy walk to convenience stores, laundry and pharmacy. Nice quiet beach down the street. Plunge pool was a major bonus on the breezy rooftop. Spotted a monkey in the gorgeous foliage and several coati in front of the gate— loads of birds, very aptly named. Hope to get a chance to return soon!
