Enjoy a relaxing stay in this spacious holiday home for 6 guests, ideally located in the charming village of Cannero Riviera. Just 400 meters from the lake and beach, this first-floor apartment offers the perfect base for families or friends exploring Lake Maggiore. The home features a large, fully equipped kitchen with a gas hob, oven, toaster, coffee machine, and a fridge-freezer. The bright living/dining area opens onto a balcony, creating a lovely space to unwind after a day outdoors. With three comfortable bedrooms, two with twin beds and one with a double bed, everyone has their own space to relax. The bathroom includes a bathtub, washbasin, toilet, bidet, and a convenient washing machine. Central gas heating ensures comfort year-round. WiFi is included, and private parking is available for your convenience. Just a short walk from local restaurants, shops, and nightlife, this well-located apartment blends quiet comfort with village charm. The beautiful lakefront and surrounding nature trails make it an excellent choice for nature lovers and culture seekers alike.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters

Traditional & Comfortable Italian Apartment in stunning town

Cannero Riveria is a beautiful town on Lago Maggorie boasting a beach and both a new and old harbour too. This three bed apartment has room for one car in the drive, and is spacious, comfortable beds and functional. It has all the charm you would want from an Italian villa and the balcony has views of the mountains and the lake from a distance. There was a modern tv and wifi setup, the photos we booked with were showing much a older tv. It was a fairly quiet location, no issue with the garden centre noise but the church bells may wake you.The beach is a fairly easy walk, maybe 15 minutes down the back streets or even accessible by driving. There's a beautiful grotto at the bottom part of the church which is magical.Intra is lovely and is a short drive or busride, remember shops shut at lunchtimes so time your shopping visit for the morning OR afternoon, and for gelato please make a special trip to a place called Gelato d'altri tempi in Intra, Verbania which has been around since the 1980s and I have visited since I was a child. Tip: get a takeaway tub!If you are confident driving hills, you must visit Ristorante Usignolo which is great food at great price. And Wonderwoods is worth visiting for climbing.There's a little market in Cannero on a friday, much bigger Cannobio market is Sunday and Luino is Wednesday. Ferry to get there (bus runs to/from Cannobio as well). It was our first time staying at Casa Iva, Marina was very helpful and we hope to stay again.

Die Lage war hervorragend! Die Aussicht war fantastisch und der Balkon zum Entspannen sehr angenehm. Bei unserer Ankunft war alles perfekt vorbereitet und wir fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause. Die Unterkunft bot alles, was wir für einen komfortablen Urlaub brauchten. Nachts war es wegen der nahegelegenen Bars etwas laut, aber nicht wirklich störend. Ich würde definitiv wieder hier übernachten!

Bij aankomst was er niemand aanwezig en bleek de sleutel onder de deurmat te liggen. De accommodatie was niet schoon maar na wat heen en weer gebel, is hier wel een oplossing voor geboden de dag erna om 9.30 uur 's ochtends is het appartement alsnog gepoetst. Verder is Cannero Riviera een rustig dorpje in mooie omgeving.

Het appartement was conform omschrijving. Een erg groot nadeel is dat aan de overkant van de weg een tuincentrum/hoveniersbedrijf is waarvan het personeel tussen 700 en 800 zich verzamelt en voorbereidingen treft voor vertrek. Dit veroorzaakt veel lawaai, o.a. de luidruchtige manier van communiceren door de Italianen.
