Lucky's Stable is a beautifully appointed semi-detached luxury three bedroom cottage for up to 7 guests (6 adults max). Set in characterful but contemporary converted stable buildings, it sits on the edge of a wildlife meadow in the heart of rural Sussex. Set in grounds of nearly 100 acres with woodland, you can enjoy the full benefits of their rural landscape, with birdsong and stunning sunsets that can be viewed from your decked outside terraces or balcony velux. Each stable has it's own private hot tub and garden.

A stylish three bedroomed property with a great outdoor space offering; outdoor kitchen with charcoal BBQ grill, brick chimney fireplace, comfy outdoor sofas, lavender and herb filled planters and private hot tub. Luxurious bedding, linen and towels provided for each unique bedroom. Board games and cosy blankets in front of the log burner for winter nights. Ample size garden for family games or relaxation in the summer. Free WIFI and Smart TV with netflix ensures there's entertainment for everyone. Large, well appointed kitchen with American style fridge/freezer, induction hob and range, dishwasher and breakfast bar. Open plan living and dining area with large bespoke made Oak dining table and feature pendant lights. Comfy chesterfield sofas to settle in to for tea and chat. Washing machine, airer and iron provided for all eventualities. Dogs are welcome subject to approval by the owners and adherence to terms, 1 dog per booking only

Fantastically located for a plethora of local activities, destinations, walks, pubs and restaurants. Conveniently located as Goodwood accommodation, for their festivals or horse/track racing, why not book in a track day! Chichester Festival Theatre is another quality pastime. Weald and Downland Museum, Chichester watersports, Portsmouth Historic dockyard and Fishers Farm Park would be at the top of the list for family attractions in the area. Bosham village just 2 minutes away is a quintessential English coastal village with beautiful views and architecture, all polished off with a lovely ice cream! Your host can always suggest items for your itinerary specific to your group or families needs or wishes, please just ask when booking. Our properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests (10 adults max). Lucky's Stable is a three bedroomed property with a great outdoor space offering an outdoor kitchen complete with brick chimneyed fireplace/barbecue, comfy outdoor sofas and lavender filled planters. Silhouette's Stable is a two bedroomed property with hot tub and has everything you need for a great holiday. We may also provide z beds for further flexibility for young children, please contact us when booking if you require these.

Delightful secluded cottage

Lucky stable is the perfect cottage to meet members of your family for special occasions. The beds are so comfortable. Patio area great for bbq .the jacuzzi and badminton were delightful. The host was very helpful. We enjoyed the tranquility and the close proximity to many tourists attractions

High-End lodge

The lodge has been fitted out to a high standard, both inside and out. Spacious living area and great outdoor space. Not overlooked at all and a pleasant sun trap. A very pleasant and peaceful stay.

Another week away with the family

First time at Lucky's stable previously stayed at Fern lodge. Another great time away with 3 children and our dog. Lucky’s stable clean, spacious & comfortable and great stay on top of great weather. Sarah and the team welcoming and friendly as usual. Perfect location for those with kids wanting a bit of privacy and for dog lovers!

Loved our return visit!

This was our second stay and we loved it. Sarah was so helpful and accommodating. The house was spotless had everything you could possibly want and we particularly loved using the spa pool and the outside fire, which meant we could sit outside on the chilly evenings.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY

We booked this for my husbands 60th Birthday, and stayed with friends and our teenage daughters. The weather was amazing all weekend, the stables were beautiful and finished to a very high standard. Comfortable bedrooms, lots of space, plenty of towels etc. The hot tub was amazing and was used all weekend. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. We would love to come back and stay again. Sarah was great help.

Second stay- we love it!

All the mod cons, but you are in nature hot spot. Butterflies, peacocks, moths, bats, owls. And take away pizza a 5 min walk away. Lovely walks to great pubs. Short drive to an amazing beach. Great time had by family with 2 tweens and a dog

It’s a great place to stay!

This is a great place to stay! Train line with a line with easy reach to London Brighton and Portsmouth Pub within a mile the white swan… it’s the cleanest hot tub we have been in, they check it everyday which is great

Lovely setting for ideal holiday.

A very well apppointed holiday let. Kitchen well supplied with all you could need, Comfortable beds. Delightful patio area with garden furniture and facilities for barbecue, and. added bonus - a hot tub. Didn't need the wood burner in the living room, but it was there with the logs etc. The surrounding neighbourhood has lots to do and see. BIrdsong all round, a relaxing holiday. Really recommended.

Lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful place

We stayed in Lucky’s Stable for 4 nights. It’s a beautiful, well-designed place with everything you could possibly need. Very clean and comfortable. The hot-tub is a lovely bonus; much needed after long walks. The garden is safe for dogs - large, fully enclosed and very private. It is a dogs-welcome as opposed to dogs-allowed place, with towels provided for muddy paws, an outside hose and a large quantity of treats. The hospitality is flawless and we felt very welcome.

Fabulous

Fab place.beds were so so comfy....and lovely bed linen. Hot tub was spotless. The outdoor area is a dream. Very well enclosed garden which is a huge plus for me as I have a small dog, but even he couldn't escape. Wonderful kitchen, loved it. There is only one thing, that the five of us found, and that is both sofas we're uncomfortable...but there is a high back armchair which my sister loved for her back as she has osteoporosis. But I would say judge for yourself as it is really lovely there. The host was .....a SUPER host...Thank you

Lovely relaxing place for family meet-up

Lovely big, comfortable barn, ideal for family. Good location for Weald and Downland museum, West Dean gardens, Bosham with its quay- and fantastic sunsets! We ran out of crockery quickly, but probably because we were using the dishwasher and there were 5 of us. Good eco credentials - apart from the plastic grass at the front!

Lovely family stay

Gorgeous accommodation, beautifully renovated, spacious and clean. Lovely facilities, hot tub and enclosed garden were fab. Parking for 2 spaces. Lovely food within 2 minute walk (recommended Japanese restaurant nearby), and close to town and a lovely vineyard (Tinwood). Family of 6 with a small child happily facilitated. They went above and beyond to accommodate the young child in the group. Would love to stay again.

Great accommodation in a well placed location

Stayed here with a group of girlfriends whilst we walked some of the South Downs and surrounding area. Everyone was pleased with the accommodation, lovely location, facilities very good, bedding and beds of good quality. I slept on the sofa bed, which, whilst ok, could have been a bit more comfortable. Facilities were spot on, however I would suggest that a ‘blade squeegee’ is put into the wet room, rather than a mop? Hot tub was a real bonus, and a wonderful addition to ease aching limbs after walking all day, and chat away! Thank you Sarah for being an attentive host :-)

Wonderful stay, lovely property

We had a wonderful stay at Lucky’s Stable. The property is in excellent condition, clean, can comfortably fit 6 (or 8 using the sofa bed). A large kitchen, and a comfortable living area. The log fire is a wonderful touch, as is the outdoor jacuzzi. Would happily return.

Lovely break in wonderful surroundings.

We had a delightful and relaxing holiday using the hot tub. The Stables were beautifully designed and was very comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and our dog loved the walks in the countryside and by the river. One slight criticism we had was that only the minimum amount of crockery, cutlery, glasses and saucepans were provided. (6 of each). For a party of 4 this got quite irritating as we had to keep washing up. Other less luxurious cottages that we have stayed in, have always had plenty of place servings as you need these to fill up the dishwasher. The other thing we felt was quite off-putting, was the amount of rules and regulations that we were sent. We do, of course, appreciate that you need regulations for hot tubs and for safety. However, the rules seemed to us to be quite excessive. In particular, we were a little put out to be informed that no vehicles could be moved on the site during 11 pm to 7am (in effect a curfew) and also that 'noise outside was to cease at 9pm'. Notices to ask us to keep the noise down after this time would have been fine, but again we felt like we were being treated as naughty teenagers. This did not have an impact on us, as we were a small group and did not have any evening barbecues. However, families and larger groups may find this restricting. Apart from the above comments, Sarah and Jackie looked after us extremely well and the property was wonderful.

Fantastic break

Had a fantastic week. The whole place was lovely. Great views and especially the garden/decking area was lovely and spacious. Would definitely go back!

Our luxury cottages are converted stables and so once housed some of our favourite four legged friends. Having lived on this site for over 30 years and keeping horses for even longer, it was a great sadness when Lucky and Silhouette were gone. However, we are so pleased to have been able to make something beautiful to their memory and allow so many guests to come and enjoy the wonderful place we live in. To feel the calm and peace revive their souls as it does ours.

The majestic oak treeline falling towards the sunset, with the odd buzzard or barn owl picked out against the sky. By day, the local surroundings have many treats for whatever our guests fancy.
